I usually leave ships to sail no matter how much I dislike them but the Wendigo pairings seriously squick me out.

Can we not? Have the people pairing this ever researched Wendigo lore? The Wendigo in the game couldn’t even get along with each other let alone a human.

I don’t expect the ship to stop but I needed to vent.

Do you mean like the full on wendigos, or Josh as a half wendigo and like him not turning or being cured or whatever? (Which I don’t mind TBH cus Josh deserved better I’m sorry)

There’s no such thing as a half wendigo.  That’s not how it works.  The wendigo TAKES AND TAKES, it never gives back.  To get rid of the wendigo, you must die.  That’s the legend.  That’s how it works.  Josh isn’t half wendigo, he’s wendigo.  And that’s a fate worse than death. 

There should have absolutely been an option to go back for him.  I love him to death, and the REAL issue is how his mental instability is treated.  We could have used Josh as a talking point for mental illness and the treatment thereof, but instead we’re using him turning into a CANNIBALISTIC NATIVE AMERICAN LEGEND as a hurt/comfort trope in the climbing class ship.

It’s not like a vampire bite.  Once you succumb to the hunger, that’s it.  You’re done.  No going back, Cochise, you’re screwed.
