Noel Gallagher interview on "It's Slade", 1999
rolling my car window up when slide away comes on shuffle because i don't need the public knowing that i endorse that message
There are different ways to have sex
its not even shipping its just posting what they did
BOB DYLAN — 1966 Tour
Noel said here that he wrote Lock All The Doors in Paris while still a roadie for the Inspiral Carpets, so of course I went to look up possible dates for that (discarding late '92 bc he'd surely been sacked by then + a gig in 1990 mostly out of instinct that his songwriting still wouldn't've been "there" yet):
and okay this still doesn't really confirm anything at all but I want to sit and contemplate a June 1991 where Noel was abroad writing Lock All The Doors while Liam was back home writing Take Me.
screaming @ that interview clip... he's mixing up lock all the doors with coming on strong. that was the one he turned into setting sun with the chemical brothers. freudian slip of all time noel you're thinking of the OTHER yearning and groveling enmeshment song you wrote while you were away from home.
liam is just walking around with that awful tattoo
feeling tender about this picture that anaïs just posted. the concept of noel participating in an activity...
touches you in an awkward and uncomfortable way with my long and creepy william burroughs finger
slide away live cardiff '25 has surpassed all other versions for me and is now my crowned favorite i could listen to it and study it for hours. the way their aged voices harmonize is insane. the way noel also sings "we both know what to do" y'all those are just the new words from here on out it's here to stay. and they do the "take me there" part at the same time too. idk they just make it very obvious that this song exists as some sort of nexus of their relationship and changes as they change it's such a beautiful testament to love
I don't think liam wants to be an equal partnership with his brother I do get the feeling he kind of likes being told what to do even if he likes to cross lines sometimes
his cage door was open and unlocked and he just sat on the ground inside crying about the fact that nobody would lock it behind him anymore.
