BJÖRKING ME

UTOPIA IS OUT BOIS AND GURLS!! So naturally i had to make a painting to celebrate the release! This prolly was the most challenging digital painting i did so far (especially since the reference pic was low quality so i had to guess what excactly is happening in her face for some parts), but im happy with it. The Reference is from the Blissing Me music video.

Im still digesting the Album, exploring new details and little hidden places with every listen. As with most of björks music, the feelings of these alien sonic landscapes and overwhelmingly complex intrumentals are so specific and new, that trying to describe them in words is a lost cause. But my first impressions are definitely very positive!1!1!1 After the first few listens, some fave tracks right now are Blissing Me, Future Forever, Sue Me, Saint and The Gate, but that list is very likely to change and evolve over time. Fave Lyric: “Oral, anal entrances. Enjoy the satisfaction.”
