Grace describes his by how shiny it looks, and the colors/ color tones (or color feelings maybe?)

This way by the time they reach Erid, Grace has a working knowledge of how eridians perceive objects/the world, and Rocky knows enough about how humans do to make grace’s new home as suitable as possible (that’s why it’s so pretty)
