I miss ya Tony
Reasons why Tony Stark is not dead
I don’t want him to be
Let’s be real, none of us accept MCU canon anymore
I don’t want him to be
I'm really glad Tony was able to finish Spiderman's suit.
Watching House of the Dragon somehow really highlights the heartbreak Drogon was feeling when he melted down the iron throne in his grief. These beauties loved their riders and were probably frustrated at how their yearning for power could make them so incredibly stupid.

Identity Crisis︱Chapter 29 - Rebirth (PREVIEW)
With the way T’Challa carried himself — and Peter — across the room, no one would have known his injuries were still fresh. Shuri hovered closely behind, with a heavy blanket tucked underneath her arm. Her stance looked as if she was ready to catch either men if they fell.
Tony could feel his jaw clench tight.
He had wanted to be the one to carry Peter out.
His sight hadn’t wavered from his arm, the jacket doing nothing to hide his reality. There was no point in even trying.
He hadn’t realized how badly he needed it — to be the one that carried him. He couldn’t carry him out of the fields, and he couldn’t carry him now. It may have just been six feet across the room, but the urge was still there. A primitive urge, a protective one.
He’d been the one to bring Peter into this mess, give him the means to be the hero he wanted so badly to become — was meant to become. He carried him into the world of heroism. Shouldn’t he be the one to carry him out?
But it was pointless, he knew that much. Peter wasn’t aware — Peter was dead. Gone. There was no memory of this for him, no need to have Mr. Stark around. No need for guidance when there was no longer anywhere to guide him.
Still. Funerals were never for the dead, only for the living.
And he wanted to be the one to carry Peter.
Okay it's just downright ridiculous how much I'm pining for this next chapter. Sigh, my babies.
So, recently I got a prompt that involved Peter’s daughter and while I first had absolutely no idea how to characterize Peter’s daughter, I couldn’t stop thinking about her after writing that little drabble. I just had to write this down.
I also blame @sfabsha and @waarst for this because instead of telling me to shut up, they encouraged it.
MJ is her mother
As soon as Peter finds out they’re having a girl, he wants to name her after the month she’s born in to honor May
The only problem: she’s born in December and MJ looks like she will rip his head off if he’s seriously thinking about naming their daughter December
However, she does get named after the day she’s born. I haven’t decided which day it is yet, and maybe you guys have better suggestions?? So, here are my ideas: Nicole for Saint Nicholas Day, Christine or Christina for Christmas Eve, or (this is my favourite) Nessa for New Years Eve. If she’s born on Christmas Eve or New Years Eve, her middle name could be Eva or Evelyn (for this list, I will continue to call her December because I couldn’t decide on one yet)
May is the one who starts calling her December as an inside joke
It evolves into calling each other Five or Twelve, and May would say “You’re a twelve out of ten!” and December would say something like “I rate you five out of five stars!”
December inherits Peter’s spider powers, as well as a version of Miles’ electrocuting powers
Peter thought MJ would be pissed about their kid having his powers (and she’s a bit pissed at first), but ultimately, she’s glad her daughter has these powers that help her defend herself
MJ always reminds December that she’s very much allowed to use her powers to defend herself
December learns very quickly how to shock people who touch her without her permission, even if it’s just a hand on her shoulder or anything
She also learns how to throw a proper punch and how to dodge a punch and how to get out of a hold by all the superheroes around her, but she’s not that much into the entire fighting and superhero scene (at least until she’s a bit older) and prefers dancing and gymnastics
Peter kinda hopes December would share his love for science, but while she usually understands what he’s talking about, it’s not really her favourite thing to do (later, she gets a bit more into science when she starts develop her own webs that can conduct electricity and shine in all the colours of the rainbow)
But she absolutely LOVES art
She loves expressing her emotions and ideas in bright colours and fun shapes and takes the phrase colouring outside the lines very literal. Like, if you would place a colouring book in front of her, she’ll straight up draw an entirely different picture over the outlines on the page on principle.
As soon as she finds out you can change the colour of your hair, she’s obsessed with it
And she finds out about it at a young age
It starts with hair chalk and non-permanent hair colouring, but December always gets upset that the colour washes away
So, Peter has to fix it
Because he just can’t say no to his little girl
He takes one look at the ingredients for commercial products for hair colouring and thinks: “I can do better”
And that’s how Peter spends weeks trying to come up with hair dye that’s less damaging to the hair with bright colours that don’t fade out that easily
But because he’s not gonna test that stuff on December, he tests it on himself
And Tony, because Tony can’t say no to Peter, especially if it involves his quasi-granddaughter
That’s how both geniuses walk around with brightly coloured hair for a few weeks until Peter finally gets it right
December is over the moon
She actually jumps to the ceiling and can’t get down for several minutes because she’s. so. excited!!!
It becomes Peter’s and her tradition that he helps her change the colour of her hair
December also really gets into make-up and doing different hair styles, but because MJ isn’t that much into it, and both May and Pepper are more minimalistic when it comes to make-up and hair, Morgan teaches her how to apply make-up and how to do different braids and all that stuff
She actually thinks about making a YouTube-channel and an Instagram account, but after Tony told her what it’s like to be famous (and Tony has no doubt she’ll be famous because, yeah, he may be biased, but December is also very good at it), she decides to only do it as a hobby
Speaking of Tony: He loves his quasi-granddaughter and December loves her gramps
He also introduces her to his favourite rock artists and from the very first second she heard the first song (she was about three), she loved it, excitingly jumping up and down and singing (more like screaming) along
Peter kinda hopes she’ll grow out of it but that isn’t happening
Tony couldn’t be happier when she asks him to come to her first concert with her
The old band-shirts she starts to wear clash a bit with her bright hair, but she doesn’t care
In fact, she never cares about what other people think about her wardrobe or hair or carefree attitude
Sometimes, Peter and MJ both wonder how their daughter turned out like this (absolutely not caring about people’s opinions about her and finding a friend in every living thing) with both of them being more socially awkward
But let me tell you why December is so comfortable in her own skin: She grows up in an absolutely loving family that accepts her just like she is, not shying away from letting her know how much they love her and how proud they are of her, a family that supports all of her passions and interests, even if they’re not into it themselves. She doesn’t care what other people think about her, because she knows she’ll always have her family who just accept and love her exactly like she is
December knows that her father is a superhero and that her grandfather was a superhero and that almost all of his friends are superheroes, too, and it takes her a while to realize that not everyone has a family full of superheroes
One day when she’s about four, she wonders about Peter’s mask
“Why do you wear a mask, Daddy?”
“Well, why do you think I wear a mask?”
She thinks about it for a second. “So nobody finds out who you are.”
Peter smiles. “Yeah. But also so the bad guys don’t know when I’m scared.”
December’s eyes grow so big, they almost fall out of her head. “You get scared?”
“Sure.”
“But you’re so brave!”
“Being brave doesn’t mean you’re not scared.”
That sentence completely blew her little mind, and it kinda becomes her personal motto. Whenever she gets scared, she reminds herself that she can still be brave
That mindset leads to a lot of reckless and dangerous situations, like climbing up tall trees and jumping down, talking to a lot of strangers, investigating weird noises in the dark, stuff that other kids might be too afraid to do
Peter swears she’s giving him grey hairs, Tony just laughs and says it’s karma for every grey hair Peter gave Tony
Peter is just grateful that December isn’t into the entire superhero-thing
However, karma strikes again
Because of course December gets into the entire superhero-thing
Only she makes it even more dangerous by adding time-traveling
Now, I’m not quite sure how she gets involved in it exactly
But I can see her starting because she needs to help Peter or Tony (or both) who have been kidnapped or whatever
And then either Scott and Hope or Stephen Strange come to her and introduce her to time-traveling and all the fun stuff, and tell her she’s their best chance to get them back
Of course, she agrees
As soon as she got a taste of being a superhero, she’s hooked
Besides, almost her entire family consists of superheroes, it’s basically her duty to carry on, and she can be brave
Peter, naturally, freaks out and forbids her from doing it
It leads to a massive fight
Tony reminds Peter of what happened when he tried to stop Peter from being Spider-Man
And Peter eventually realizes that he can’t stop her, not when he’s still going out patrolling every other night and is part of the next generation of the Avengers, so he decides to do the same thing Tony did all those years ago with him: teach her and do his best to keep her safe
Tony and Peter make her a nano-tech suit and ‘force’ her to learn enough about science so that she can repair smaller problems
The suit can change its colour (like Carol’s did in Captain Marvel) because they know she’ll want to change it every other day
Not sorry for not shutting up
Just saw She-Hulk. Excuse me while I cry over the beautiful friendship that existed between Tony and Bruce. I'm so glad they had each other. I wonder if Tony ever talked to Bruce about Peter.
@sfabsha YOU ARE KILLING ME PLEASE STOP
Identity Crisis, Chapter 27 - Valley of the Shadow of Death
Viciously, Tony scraped the heels of his hands over his face, gouging a path through the wetness. Pain was tearing through his chest, muscles screaming and broken ribs rubbing up against one another.
His next breath stuttered again, and again after that, and suddenly he couldn’t breathe in at all —
This wasn’t happening.
Tony could feel the room spinning around him, the floor tilting precariously beneath his feet.
This wasn’t —
He closed his eyes, trying to will the vertigo away. His legs were shaking, scarcely wanting to support him, and each breath was snipped — quick and fast, with nausea thick in his belly.
Every inhale was cut short.
This wasn’t happening.
“GODdamn—!”
Tony’s heart sank to his feet, before he sank down, falling to his knees in a tangled mess on the floor. Shards of glass pressed into his palms as he tried to catch himself, slicing through the delicate skin of his hands — he didn’t care.
Nothing hurt nearly as much as the weight on his chest, his entire world crashing down on already broken bones. Sitting on him, crushing him, taking what little air he could suck through quivering lungs.
Suddenly, his skin felt cold, his heart-rate fast and thready. His hands – both too heavy, and too light to keep from shaking — curled inwards and over his head.
Tony buried his head down into his chest, curling tighter against himself.
This chapter broke me
I personally see the hijab ban in the EU as liberating. Everyone will be equal from now on, and women will be liberated from oppressive religious standards. Thoughts?
you can’t “liberate” those who are already free
just say you don’t like women wearing the hijab and get out of my asks
also, if your “equality” doesn’t see a hijabi as an equal unless she discards her traditions and culture to conform to the western ideal of the ‘good muslim’ then it’s not actually equality it’s just orientalism and islamophobia
Forcing women to dress a certain way is never liberating.
A woman choosing to wear or not wear something without interference is liberty.
Having a free choice is the point.
Hijab ban will lead to two things: Women who want to wear one are not gonna be allowed to wear one anymore, which is the opposite of freedom. Women who are not allowed to go out without one by an abuser will not be allowed to go out at all anymore.
This is not how to stop oppression.
precisely
women who have been coerced into wearing it (which is wrong, we can all agree on that), could be taken out of the public sphere almost entirely, which will limit her access to education, healthcare, and necessary government services - as well as curb any chances of future financial independence
on the opposite side, women who have been forced by the government to remove their hijab they freely chose to wear now have to choose between removing themselves from the public sphere or continuing to wear it and facing legal repercussion, fines, and even jail time. the other option is that they remove it when they do not wish to do so, which strips a woman of her choice and ability to privatize the parts of her body she does not wish to share with the world and forces her to erase her cultural and religious traditions in order to be deemed societally acceptable by a country that spent hundreds of years colonizing muslim countries and violently oppressing muslim women
and idk how to explain to you guys that none of these options are liberating
If Peter could somehow "weird science" his way into turning Karen into a humanoid, what do you think she would look like?
Somehow the only thing that comes to mind is Janet from The Good Place
Not too sure what the future of Marvel is going to be like but I'm sure glad I'm old enough to have seen Marvel rise from the ashes beginning with Iron Man.

In this unremarkable surrounding, the sight of the cylindrical tank that was placed in the middle on a small pedestal and almost reached the ceiling was jarring.
It was filled with a light-blue fluid and in that fluid, chained to a ring at the bottom of the tank by his wrists and ankles was Peter.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU
YOU ASKED AND HERE YOU GO @sfabsha
Behold my sketchiness. Whenever I think of something, I always think of the scene as a set of actions that take place xD That’s why you can see Peter waking up to the tank lowering down >:) And finally, Peter inside the filled tank.
I was going to only upload sketches but I couldn’t resist coloring it
Oh my goodness its breathtaking!
So I happen to be one of the few(maybe?) adult fans of IronDad content and I have teen boys of my own. And as I read all the IronDad stories written by teens/young adults, its so easy to fall in love with with Tony and Peter as father and son. And I realise that it's because you guys are writing what you wish your own parents had said or did say to you when you were struggling. I guess what I want to say is thank you. Because what you've written has actually helped me in my relationship with my own teens. So thank you.
How do you think Tony would react to Peter wanting to join the army?
To say that Tony is a bit confused when he lets himself into Rhodey’s apartment in New York is quite an understatement.
Rhodey raises an amused eyebrow when he sees him walking through the door while pocketing the key. “I’m pretty sure this could be seen as a burglary.”
“Don’t be ridiculous. You gave me the key yourself.”
“For emergencies.”
“This is one.”
Peter’s chuckle ends the staring contest between them as he leans back against the couch. This is the reason why Tony is here – Peter being here. It’s not like Rhodey and Peter don’t get along, quite the opposite actually. Rhodey loves to corrupt his intern into teaming up with him against Tony (which is totally a crime, Tony just needs to find the exact law to prove it yet), and Peter loves hearing all of Rhodey’s stories, no matter how lame they are.
But the thing that’s unusual is that he’s here, in Rhodey’s apartment, and Tony didn’t know about it. Peter has never been here before, neither of them have ever uttered a word about it, and suddenly on one rainy Saturday afternoon, Tony gets a selfie from Peter of them, sitting on this couch. And something has to be up, because Rhodey 100% knew that Tony would immediately race over here to find out what’s happening.
So, the question is: what is happening?
“What’s happening?” Tony asks as he sits down opposite of them.
“Nothing,” Rhodey answers as he shrugs.
“Nothing?”
“Just hanging out.”
“Since when do you hang out with teenagers?”
“After you started hanging out with them.”
“Colonel Rhodes showed me some of his old air force stuff,” Peter throws in, once again ending the staring contest between Tony and Rhodey.
That’s… not what Tony expected. His eyebrows jump up. “Why?”
“Because I’m thinking about joining the army.”
It feels like someone punched all the air out of Tony’s lungs. And considering that he’s been flying around the world as a superhero for almost a decade now, he knows exactly how that feels.
“What?” he breathes out as the information slowly percolates through his thick skull.
“I’m thinking about joining the army,” Peter repeats and shrugs once. “I mean how can I better help the little guy than by doing my best to defend the country? Plus, all of Colonel Rhodes’ stories sound amazing!”
Every single atom in Tony’s body urges him on to scream NO! but he doesn’t do it or two reasons.
Firstly, Rhodey is still sitting between them, and even though Rhodey officially quit the military after signing the Accords to become a full-time Avenger, he’s still working closely with them. Not to mention that he’s quite proud of all of his achievements and his work there.
And secondly, Peter is notorious for doing the exact opposite of what Tony tells him to do. Tony tells him to keep his distance and web everyone up, and Peter starts fighting the freaking Winter Soldier and Falcon. He tells the kid to leave Toomes alone and Peter starts skipping school to join an illegal alien weapon deal. Tony tells him to talk about his trauma and Peter slaps on a smile and pretends everything is fine. The second he tells him he shouldn’t join the army, Peter will do it, most likely out of spite.
“Mr. Stark?” Peter asks, but Tony can’t answer. His thoughts are racing.
Now that he’s thinking about it, he should’ve seen it coming. Peter and his stupid hero complex, thinking it’s his job to fix every single problem of every single person in the entire world. Of course he would want to choose a profession that would help keeping other people save. And being around Rhodey, always calling him by his title, probably strengthened that idea.
“Tones? You’ve got something to say about this?”
Why hasn’t he seen this sooner? Maybe because he didn’t want to see it. Back when Rhodey joined the army, Tony tried everything to change his mind. Obviously, it didn’t work, so Tony did the only thing he could do: designing and manufacturing the best weapons on the market and making sure that Rhodey (and the rest of the army, but if he’s being completely honest, Rhodey’s presence pulled a lot more weight) had weapons that worked. What, you thought he made weapons for years because it was so much fun? Please, the only thing they had to do was explode when you wanted them to. Not exactly the most difficult task he ever encountered.
“I think we broke him,” Peter fake-whispers, getting a chuckle out of Rhodey.
This can only mean one thing: Tony has to go back to making weapons. Yes, he made an oath to never ever do that again – not to mention the entire publicity nightmare that it would be, Pepper would chop his head off with her stiletto heel, Tony would lose every little shred of credibility – but if he doesn’t, it would mean that someone else is in charge of giving Peter equipment that keeps him save.
And no one is good enough for that. Not a single person reaches the standard Tony has for that task. So, he will have to do it himself.
“Hey, buddy, you good?” Rhodey asks him, lying a hand on his shoulder. His voice is laced with slight concern. “You don’t have a heart attack or something, right? Because you haven’t even blinked since you sat down.”
Maybe he can find a way to do it without getting SI into it. Get some kind of front, he’s pretty sure if he puts up an ad on craigslist or something, he’ll find someone who’s willing to participate. Getting the money for it without anyone (and Pepper) noticing might be a little tougher and Tony might have to bribe a couple of people to make all of it work, but the alternative to it is simply not acceptable.
“Mr. Stark? Are you, like, okay’?”
What’s the most attention-grabbing but also most inconspicuous way to word an ad like that? Because he has to make sure that people find it interesting enough to give it a try, and yet it must look like any other ad – one that definitely doesn’t link back to him.
“That was a joke.”
Tony’s eyes snap to Peter. He blinks. “What?”
“I don’t wanna join the army.”
Tony blinks again. “But you said-”
“It was a joke,” Rhodey says, giving his shoulder a little squeeze. “You can dial back your blood pressure and stop working on whatever it was that kept you in that zombie-like state.”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Tony says, but he can literally feel the years that he just lost being added up to his life again. He doesn’t have to worry about Peter getting hurt – at least until he throws on his Spider-Man suit again. “That doesn’t sound like me at all.”
“Yeah, right.”
Tony sniffs once. “Anyway, that was a terrible joke. Didn’t believe it for a single second. And to make up for your lack of being funny, you should buy us pizza.”

Hi seek! I'm looking for a peter MJ fic that is set after endgame where peter and MJ come together and raise Morgan bc Tony and Pepper are dead, and they are leading the reconstruction efforts but then Tony comes back somehow and thinks that Morgan is Peter and MJ's daughter?
WELL!!!! It’s not Morgan, BUT— you maybe thinking of After the War:
Peter survives the war against Thanos that kills all of his teammates, and returns to an earth laid to waste to discover Tony has left him … everything.
And he means everything. The company, the relief efforts, and — most importantly — the infant son Tony never knew he had.
As Peter pushes through a grief that threatens to swallow him whole, takes the burden of rebuilding the planet on his shoulders, and raises Tony’s son, the last thing he expects is for Tony himself to show up on his doorstep five years later as if no time has passed at all.
Read it on AO3 with me and maybe if we all comment, we can collectively imagine/hope that an ending will be written for it.
If this acts as a gentle plea for the story to finish then I'm all in because my heart cannot handle how this story currently ends...
