An important but very random question:
I have a reason for asking this: if you were at the top of a mountain and you had your instrument with you, what piece would you play? Or would you sing? Or would you prefer to improvise on the spot?
Bach sarabande from the third suite. Either that or the prelude from the same suite. @lifeiscello is right, anything Bach.
If I had a piano, I’d improvise a piece. But if I had my cello, I’d probably play the first movement of Beethoven’s 3rd cello sonata.
@dat-cellist you are a genius
For me the beggining of Elgar concerto though.
Or the Prelude from Bach's suite no. 4
