When they break the 4th wall during Change/Timawarp, it scratches my brain in a good way. Specifically when the characters somehow interact not with the audience but with the person controlling time and/or their actions. The idea that the characters are aware of this kind of outside influence on their life is fascinating

Only thing i remember from my dream last night is that sfth had released a new play and i was watching the beginning of it, which included luke’s character and sams character arguing over something (they were married i believe) and luke beginning to walk out. sam followed luke’s character and was like Hey no we can talk about this and they both sat down to discuss it and we discovered that luke’s character had some kind of generational curse over them?? So sam asked for an explanation and it triggered a flashback and suddenly the stage was covered in sand and aj came bursting out of the sand dressed as jesus christ and tied to a cross and sam immediately broke character to be like Dude stop this is too weird and dark for improv comedy we’re not bringing the crucificafion of jesus into this. so they sweeped and basically started the story from the beginning and it became about these random lesbian lovers (i guess they were guest actors) falling in love and sam, luke, aj, and tom we’re not seen for the rest of the play LMAO
