Although it's almost two years since Dad died, I still find ways that I can get to know him better, whether it's through reading old letters, researching the family tree -- or finding old photographs. If I ever forget what I look like when I'm happy, I remember this moment 14 years ago today when I was finally able to marry my best friend, and husband for life -- after winning that right before the California Supreme Court.
