I wanted to put up a new pinned post introducing myself and my OCs! First off...

I'm Sh00kspeared. I love video games and art of all kinds, but I mainly do 2D art, writing, theater, and mini painting. Some games I love are Baldur's Gate III, the Dragon Age series, Cyberpunk 2077, and Starfield.

Ilmarë is a gentle-hearted storm mage, one of the founders of the Veil Jumpers, and the Inquisitor. He also assumes the role of Rook during Veilguard.

Atticus Volkarin, just like Emmrich, is a scholar of the Mourn Watch. He is Emmrich's husband of 34 years by the time Veilguard begins, and he was born into the Pentaghast family.

Wip Everything/Wednesday

I am working on a piece for @queersolasweek which is an event I'm helping put on (which everyone should totally join; it's open to anybody who ships solas and their inky, headcanons solas or their inky as queer, and is willing to show that off in their creative works! This includes mlm solquisitor, bi solas or inky in a m/f relationship, poly Solquisitor ships, and whatever else you can think of! There's more info in the info posts on the event blog).

This is for the day 1 prompt, beginnings. I've decided that for each day, I'm going to write a little poem and make a drawing, kind of like a snapshot of a picture book. The poem's cadence is almost the same as Lewis Carroll's 'The Hunting of the Snark,' which I chose as my template because I wanted it to sound kind of whimsical and old-fashioned.

I know it may sound self-centered of me, but I really with more people would make the effort to refer to lavellan/inky as 'they' instead of 'she' in solquisitor posts that aren't about their inkies in particular. It's hard feeling like my ship is welcome on a headcanon post because I never know whether somebody is saying 'she' out of habit or because they don't consider mlm solquisitor to be valid or worth mentioning.

I've mainly been working on my bg3 post canon pirate story and artfight attacks recently! My post canon story can be read here: Hard Times Come Again No More - Chapter 1 - Sh00kspeared - Baldur's Gate (Video Games) [Archive of Our Own].

I only posted already published snippets in this post because I've barely started the next chapter, but above are some of my favorite lines in the story. Tw for ableism.

I'm also working on some illustrations for the story, one of them is pictured above; I'll be posting one in each chapter.

Each chapter is also named after an Irish folk song or sea shanty which I link in the chapter notes of each chapter. Here is my outline of the story's first part with each chapter name! (The story is broken into three parts -- Neap Tide, Rising Waters, and The Eye of the Tempest. It looks like this story will end up being about 75k words when it's all finished).

Anyway, I'd looove some readers! I'm just dying to talk to someone about this story because I'm having so much fun writing it! It's super campy and fun, lots of pirates and magic and fun ballads, but also has some nice emotional moments and lots of gay tavstarion fluff.
