Some Veseli locoshifter behaviors I've added since my last post about them
Here's the other post
Also let me know if you want more of these in the future or leave down some other things these creatures would do
Onto the info now!! :3 (also, tw for mentions of abuse/child abuse)
thinking about a tiktok I posted a while back (here > https://www.tiktok.com/@shadedaimp/video/7507820516544335150?cid=NzYxMDc1NzIyMDQxNDg4MjU2Nw)
and one of the responses was this:
so anyway, I'm sharing the angst pain with y'all, have fun!
Crossover Universe info and funfacts (TTTE species version)
The species that the sentient locomotives/inanimate are called
+ "Veseli" (Locomotives are specifically "Veseli Locoshifters")They have the ability to transform into a human form (that almost looks like a human but some can have metal sticking out/crests(or whatever term you call it) and they also have sharp teeth
+ due to their "mystical" or complicated biology, they are classified as eldritchs or a more formal term "anomalies" despite most of them not acting as such
+ the speed and strength are determined by their locomotive vessel
+ they still have the same speed and strength in their human forms (so going off the rails won't save you if you actually managed to REALLY piss one off)
+ The digestive system is completely different from other animals and humans, and are also influenced by their vessels
+ steam locomotives digestive power is fire-elemental base, a healthy locoshifter can start a fire in their bellies by themselves once woken up and then fed by the fireman to keep it going
+ diesels are acidic-base and electrics just straight up eat energy/electricity
+ they can eat through their mouths or fireboxes/fuel tanks
+ eating is basically the same as other creatures: to gain energy and nutrients
+ they can move on their own in engine form but law says they need a driver (and fireman) at all times when traveling in engine form
+ they can hear better than humans, in fact, they can hear something miles away and able to hear higher frequencies
+ They can also see far away too (like raptor vision)
+ When a veseli is born, they're like blobs with legs as babies; they must be given a vessel within 2 weeks or they'll "dissolve and scatter" and they'll die
+ they don't have a waste system, any food eaten is turned into energy or stored energy
+ most can eat or drink anything but it can have some consequences, especially diesels, who are not allowed sugar or they'll either get sick in small quantities or die in large quantities
+ despite they're status as cryptids or anomalies, they are not "dangerous monsters"; they have the intelligence and sapience of a human and do not eat humans because of that
Bro, listen ttte fans, I love it when people portray the British/though especially sodor engines scary/creepy as heck, especially when need be like when there enraged or when someone close to them is hurt by somebody but but listen... I love them, big hearted giant american engine characters, but In my heart, they would 100% freaking scary as shit when you apply the "enraged or when someone is close to them is hurt by somebody" to them. The difference between the two side of the pond is that one would be absolutely scary to encounter but the other one would be terrifying, like American cryptids and train ghost stories. not to mention all the shit American locomotives go through. If you made an American engine angry, it would be pretty much like pissing off these things:
decided im gonna do another hehehehehee

Don't mind me
I'm watching most of the Gordon-centric episodes so I can go write about how he's AuDHD coded.
