Hiya! I'm Behop the shadowguy, and I really like playing/talking (whichever makes more sense I guess haha). Now that I have a job, I can finally try out this blogging thing!
Some things to take note of:
Please refer to me as they/them (mod also uses they/them)
Please don't send nsfw asks, as they give me the creeps (the mod too) and will likely be ignored/deleted (Suggestive is fine to an extent)

Prologue: The New Hire
>New part-time hire (Behop, or Shadowguy #729) asks Button (@zapper-powerbutton) for directions to the Green Room (link)
>Behop brings them some cookies as thanks the next day (link)
>Behop later gets hunted down by a loose octopus (link)
>They bump into Reuben (@reuben-the-pippins) while putting the net they used for the octopus away, surprising both of them (link)

Part 1: Either by Pure Chance or Poor Engineering
>Behop starts building a machine for one of their college assignments (link)
>An anon breaks into Behop's apartment, so Behop makes them a smoothie (link)
>Somehow, Pluey (@plug-n-play-pluey) finds Behop's address and comes by for a practice session with grilled cheeses (link)
>Behop's machine somehow sends a signal to an alternate universe (@infected-tvtimestudio), and they have a chat with Battat
>For some reason, changing the frequency at which signals are sent and received affect transmission times, which Behop records
>They start planning experiments in order to determine if supplies can be sent between universes
>They also run into Button, and checks in on them (link)
>They give Button the address to their apartment to meet up later before biking off to the Purple Cliffs to collect samples
>Upon arriving in the cliffs, they collect samples from the border of the world, causing them to petrify and blow away (link)
>They wake up a few hours later in the sand, and start biking away (link)
>They're really out of it
Part 2a: Kitchen County
>Behop meets Rex (@mr-ant-tennas-kitchen-crew) at the bus stop (link pt1)
>Behop got a bit confused with directions, so they end up going to Kitchen County
>They enter Kitchenette's Cafe and Catering, only to witness an argument between Kitchenette and Tenna regarding his visit and the fountain
>Behop looks at the menu, only to notice that many of the menu items are themed after TV time shows that have either been cancelled or hadn't existed in the first place (link pt2)
>They meet a Ginger Guard named Jacobina, and chat with them after Jacobina shapeshifts into them
>Jacobina and Behop exchange phone numbers, and Jacobina sends Behop a photo of their room. It is filled with TV paraphernalia that Behop doesn't fully recognize
>They leave the Cafe and bike back to the bus stop before getting picked up by Rex and the freshly-repaired bus (link pt3)
>Behop and Rex chat a bit, before Rex accidentally kidnaps them while doing a delivery to the set
Part 2b: Sorry, have we met?
>Behop stumbles into the Green Room, where they bump into KC!Reuben
>Behop is surprised when KC!Reuben doesn't recognize them, but they dismiss it, thinking they simply haven't interacted enough
>They are then confronted by two zappers, one of whom they identify as KC!Button, who doesn't remember Behop either
>They are pulled into battle, where Behop is almost arrested by the other zapper (Aspen (@mr-ant-tennas-on-set-crew)) when he is interrupted by his "evil" boyfriend (Daze)
>Behop then makes their way to the monster set as directed by Daze, where they meet KC!Chip, KC!Friday, and KC!Behop
>They try to sneak back out, but fail miserably, scaring the living shit out of KC!Behop
>After a brief conversation, Behop starts biking back to the fountain before they can fully petrify
>They make it to the green room before they accidentally trigger another switch back to their home universe, almost hitting Reuben with their bike in the process (link)
Part 2c: Home
>Reuben gives Behop some TV Dinners as he and Behop chat about recent events (link)
>Reuben offers to help Behop get back home, so they take the bus back to Behop's apartment
>While they walk to the bus stop, they are interrupted by an anon asking them to pray for Button's safety, which worries Behop (link)
>Behop arrives back at their apartment, where they relax a bit before starting on their homework
>While waiting for their laptop to start, they activate their machine. Almost immediately, it starts spewing long coordinates for the Infected Set, causing them to scramble to write it down (link)
>They also take a photo of their room and send it to Jacobina before they start on their homework
Interlude 1:
>I get stared at by an anon (link)
>While they clean themselves off, they get a reply from Jacobina (link)
>Behop agrees to go on a date with Jacobina over the weekend
>They try making a healing item for the first time, but end up reducing it to charcoal (link)

Ok so where have I been:
school has been eating up a shit ton of my time recently, so I haven't rly had the time nor motivation to update Behop's blog
Behop and 5cuptainsinatrenchcoat are no longer my only blogs! I have been uh.. distracted, to say the least
mostly bc my interests have largely shifted from deltarune to ultrakill (I do have an UK askblog, @curiosity-virtue that I have been far more active on in the last few days)
The broadcast arc has been almost completely re-vamped, as well as the world physics. This is almost entirely bc there was too much I didn't understand back when I first wrote it, and there were. so many innacuracies
I get that it's a fictional physics system anyways, but I want to make sure that it at least makes some sense in the scope of the real world, because that's what I think makes the broadcast arc particularly interesting
Soooooo what does this mean for shadowguy729 and 5cuptainsinatrenchcoat?
I'll be a lot more active at least on Behop's blog, mostly bc I've finished re-vamping the broadcast arc! (I. made up most of it on a whim back in the summer, and I wanted to adjust its trajectory a bit)
I'll be a little slower returning to 5cups, mooostly bc their lore isn't rly completed yet, and I don't want to make the same mistakes as w Behop's blog where I rushed the storyline too hard, and ended up making a lot of creative choices I lowk regret
Some of you may or may not have noticed a few of the sister blogs to both shadowguy-729 and 5cuptainsinatrenchcoat. Yes, they are connected! However: there is little to no connection between the scopes of shadowguy-729 and 5cuptainsinatrenchcoat outside of a few cameos. This is intentional!
And also: I'm gonna be so fr w you guys, I don't want to keep forcing myself to update blogs that I used to pour so many hours into, and my interests definitely shift over time. I appreciate y'all's patience!
alrighty so that's about all the important information from here, thank you guys so much for reading (and continuing to read, even if you stop at this post) from my blogs!
oh and I'm skipping the christmas thing
I really really appreciate all the gifts y'alls dropped in their inbox, but I. I lowk rly don't want to do that in March, and it's one of the big reasons why I haven't returned thus far— sorry guys T-T T-T
