Let me guess... you pissed off a malevolent entity in the service of trying to help someone and now they want your head?
…Yeah something like that.
I thought so. I can protect you if you need it.
I hate to be That Gay™️
but my parents are homophobic and recently kicked me out of their home. I’m a full time college student and will be renting a place for winter break in my college town. Since they kicked me out I have no vehicle and only the funds I’ve saved the past year. I have an emotional support cat (named Beef) and am on anxiety meds that have made a previously debilitating mood disorder stable.
I’m getting a job but I’d really like some help staying afloat this winter if you are willing to share this post or donate even as little as a dollar to my gofundme.
I am an artist and will also be taking commissions during this time (please check my Instagram, Autumnnotgrace, if you are interested in that!! If nothing else I love to interact with people there!)
I also sell shirts on Redbubble and Threadless (I am also Autumnnotgrace there)
My gofundme link is right here.
If you prefer PayPal it’s PayPal.me/Autumnnotgrace
If you have nothing to give, reblogs are very appreciated!!
Thanks so much for reading through this! Have a happy winter, I know I’ll be doing my best to!

LISTEN UP
I’m American. I live right in the southwest and let me tell you, it’s hell over here right now, but it will become a lot worse if Article 13 is passed.
You’ve probably heard about Article 13, and if you haven’t, go watch this video right now. Whatever you’re doing can wait for sixteen minutes and two seconds, because a second-long vote could destroy everything online.
Whether you’re from Europe or not, this law could affect you, so you should care Article 13 because it is going to destroy the online lives that you have built. No more posting memes, no more remixes, and no more YouTubers from anywhere.
Jacksepticeye will no longer be able to upload.
Markiplier will no longer be able to upload.
MatPat won’t.
Thomas Sanders.
Dan and Phil.
How to Basic.
All of your favorite content creators are at risk of losing their jobs because people want stricter laws on copyright, which will support the larger media companies but kill smaller creators. And because of this, we may lose everything online.
So spread the word! Reblog this, reblog other people’s posts, find petitions, write your own posts! If you’re in Europe, contact your MEP’s and get them to understand how it will affect the people who use the internet.
Please.
#savetheinternet.
Not to be #thatperson but I feel like national news isn’t fully realizing how bad this is. Not to detract from the horror of Paradise and surrounding towns but this is really bad. And Sacramento is worse.
It is that bad, and you are not supposed to mind. You are supposed to accept the new normal. Sometimes American cities will be uninhabitable. Sometimes America will just burn. You will be encouraged to identify with this. It’ll probably be a whole thing, like how New Englanders take pride in driving in snowstorms.
The city of San Francisco currently has the worst air quality of anywhere in the world because of the wildfires. (This level of air quality, incidentally, is bad for people and kills them.) These once-in-a-lifetime wildfires will become more common in our lifetimes.
I think ! it’s okay! to say this isn’t fine!!
THIS IS NOT FINE
TEN YEARS AGO THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN TOP OF NEWS CYCLE DISASTER COVERAGE
THIS IS REALLY REALLY BAD AND WE SHOULD NOT LOOK AWAY
A few more things to think about:
a) This is happening in a region where the majority of the population does not have air conditioning in their homes, because the climate in the coastal parts of the Bay Area (including the East Bay, where we live) is typically very mild, and rarely gets warm enough to require cooling. Right now, it’s also not warm enough to require A/C for cooling, but A/C can also be used to filter indoor air. So most Bay Area residents do not have any technological means to filter the air inside their homes. When hbbo and I left earlier this week, the air inside was vastly better than the air outside, but the smoke was still so bad indoors that we were wearing N95 masks inside our apartment. Telling people to stay inside is a pretty inadequate way of protecting them when the air inside is so bad you taste ash every time you pull your mask down to take a sip of water.
b) The Bay Area is also currently struggling with one of the worst crises of homelessness in the country. The best public health recommendation available right now is: stay inside your home. I’ve been trying to find 2018 statistics without a lot of luck, but in 2017, the homeless population of San Francisco (city) alone was about eight thousand people. San Francisco is a tiny, tiny part of the area that’s affected by the smoke; the typical definition of “The Bay Area” covers either seven or nine counties, depending on who you ask, and homelessness across those counties hovers between about 0.2% and 1%. In other words: for an enormous chunk of the area currently blanketed by life-threatening smoke, between two and ten out of every thousand people does not have a home inside which they can shelter.
c) N95 masks, the only protective mechanism most Bay Area residents have access to, frequently don’t fit children correctly, because their faces are too small to allow for a good seal, and a lot of public health outlets are just flat-out recommending against having children wear them. Just—think about that, for a second. The entire Bay Area and Central Valley are in the middle of a public health crisis that has, now, for large swathes of that area, lasted for over a week. There are very few places in that entire area, indoors or out, where you can go to get a full breath of clean air. So, throughout that area, most kids are just—breathing in smoke. All day. Every day. Indoors and out.
d) I grew up in Los Angeles and I’ve lived in California for most of my life (I’m 37), and yes, wildfires have always been a part of the California experience. But not in November. It used to be that California had a well-defined “fire season” that lasted from about May to about October, with the worst of the fire risk in the most heavily populated parts of the state coming between mid-August and mid-October, which is, for wide swathes of California, the hottest part of the year (I know this sounds bananas to non-Californians, but this is just what our climate’s like: our perceptual summer is dramatically late-shifted into the autumn, and our technical “summers” can actually be quite cool, especially if you’re near the coast, as is true in SF and LA).
e) You can use Breezometer to compare the air quality in the Bay Area to the air quality in your location. The air quality at our apartment is currently 18/100 on their scale (higher is better); it’s dipped as low as 12 at various points this week. As I’m writing this on Saturday morning, the air quality is noticeably improving for most of the state, but:
…last night, and for several days previous, that blob of red centered around Chico was contiguous all the way west to the coast, down the coast past Monterey, and all the way south (through that area that’s currently orange/yellow) down the middle of the state—the Central Valley—to Visalia, and orange down to Bakersfield. Because I think California scale is hard to grasp sometimes: it’s about a three hour drive in no traffic just from San Jose to the area that hbbo and I are staying, near San Luis Obispo (marked on the map as “San Luis” because the “Obispo” got cut off—green area on the western coast, near the bottom of this screencap). The actual fire, which is near Chico, is about 370 miles (595 km), or a five and a half hour drive, from the southern edge of its smoke cloud in Bakersfield.
hey! Hey YOU!
now that i have your attention…
i have to preface this post by saying that im american. as an american on this website with mostly american-oriented content, i know little of what is happening elsewhere in the world. recently, however, i have noticed that europe is having some issues - specifically issues regarding censorship of the internet.
now, do you wanna know why i prefaced this with ‘im american?’
because the only people that i’ve seen talking about this aren’t americans, but distressed europeans
i don’t know much about the situation, unfortunately. my understanding is that the EU wants to pass two articles that control how copyrighted information is passed on the internet. however, instead of slightly tightening their copyright laws, they seem to want to go to the extreme and censor any content that europeans produce and consume.
now think of how this could affect us, as the jse community.
sean, obviously, is european. born and raised in ireland, moved to the uk in 2017. he has dedicated 6 years of his life to uploading gaming videos and sketch comedies on youtube just for us, to build this wonderful and loving community.
if the EU decides to pass these articles?
shit is going to change, fam
thankfully, sean is in a position as to where he might not get as fucked over by this as others will, but it will still hurt. it will hurt him, as he loves this job and it will force him to find work elsewhere. it will hurt robin, who has been helping sean with his videos, especially the ego content, since 2016. it will hurt many of sean’s friends on youtube (pewdiepie, kickthepj, emma blackery, etc.)
most importantly?
it will hurt us, as sean’s audience.
i don’t know many people within the community, but i have heard stories. stories told through pax panels, stories shared in videos, stories shared across tumblr and twitter. i know sean means a lot to a lot of people out there. he is the reason they smile, the reason they want to get out of bed and live their lives. and i know that without having sean around, it might tremendously impact them. it might cut them off from friends they’ve made online, job opportunities they have because of sean, having a loving, supportive community to come to when their mental health might be in a shitty place, etc.
so why do i want your attention?
because of my position as a non-european, i know little about what is happening in europe and what i should do to help. but i know there are millions of people out there that can help.
i have four requests to ask of you guys, as a member of the jse community and the internet.
1. we need to signal boost the hell out of this to get sean’s attention. if we can get his attention, he can make a video about it, which will spread more awareness and encourage more europeans to take action.
2. i would like if anybody could update this post with information that we can give to sean and others. the more accurate, up-to-date, and easily explainable the information is, the better.
3. i would like to encourage europeans to take action besides signing internet petitions. go out, talk to your governments about this. write them letters. make calls. protest. make. some. noise. the more noise we make, the more we could sway them in our favor.
4. i would appreciate it if anybody could signal boost the hell out of this in general, as members of the jse community and internet. the more attention we can draw to this issue, the more lives we could help impact and (hopefully) improve.
you guys helped us americans when we we going through our net neutrality crisis.
now it’s our turn, as non-europeans, to help you through yours.

Remember, you have to do this at a national government level!
A directive is NOT a law, it simply compels member countries to incorporate it into their existing cooyright laws! The directive has also been worded very badly and is open to a lot of abuse so make sure your MEP is clued up on what the consequences of misinterpretating this article are!
lmao stan lee was a gross racist/rapist im glad he died!
Your cowardliness to hide behind an anon mask is as pathetic as your attempt to be a ‘hater’. Nice try though.
A vent, and how things have been (feel free to scroll past)
Not entirely sure why I’m posting this for the world to see, but I need to let it out, so here goes nothing…
… I broke again.
My anxiety won again.
I still can’t handle being in school, even after a year and after trying to hold on to PMA and being under significantly less pressure. I broke down in front of my therapist and I don’t even remember what we talked about that day, except for that we tried a guided meditation and I couldn’t get my breathing under control because I was shaking.
For the past few weeks it’s felt like my energy has been divided between going to classes and calming myself down between those times, with barely any time in between that my head could dedicate to doing actual schoolwork. I buried myself in Deltarune to escape from the constant dread that was hanging over me. I talked to my professors a few times, and when I was with them my tasks seemed simple, but as soon as I left it turned into a mountain of words I didn’t understand and couldn’t force myself to because I was in so much of that dread.
Right now, I’m more frustrated with myself than I’ve ever been.
I'm… kind of in almost exactly the same place I was in last year. Dropped from school, in a bad headspace, in need of a big change I’d hoped had already happened at some point before.
I’ve always had a problem with “wanting” things. It’s like my head has trained itself to stop wanting things because I just know I’m not going to be dedicated enough to go after them, so why bother? It’s why I’m super indecisive when it comes to even really small choices, because I just genuinely don’t care most of the time anymore. I tell myself that if I let my anxiety get in the way of something I “want”, then I don’t want it enough, because if I really wanted it, I would’ve pushed harder to get it.
There is nothing I want more than to just get a little bit better. I want to be able to push myself instead of just crumbling immediately. I want to be able to love myself and to take care of myself and to keep myself going instead of hating myself and blaming myself and just giving up on things.
The thing about this is, I know I can’t do it alone, and in the past, that’s what I’ve tried to do. It was all riddled with family issues and miscommunication and stress on top of that while I was trying to do what was best for me, and it just ended up making things worse in the end. I’d use Seán’s videos just to pull myself away from that for a while and this blog as a release of all that bundled nervous energy.
I’ve become more and more afraid that I’m becoming a bother by talking about my anxiety and depression and all the other mental issues I have, or that by openly asking for help or PMA a lot I’m painting myself as someone who constantly begs for attention. The truth is, I just really need help. I’m not strong enough to make this change alone.
From here on out, I’m going to try to do better. To re-train the way I think, to take time to actually focus on how I’m breathing and to make sure I empty my head of all of this needless stress more often.
I’m so done with letting this happen. I don’t want to fool myself into thinking I’m better than I actually am anymore, I actually want to take steps to get better.
And I know that recovery is an ongoing pursuit, that there’s no 100% Cured status out there for stuff like this, but… I actually want to start pursuing instead of just tricking myself into thinking that I am.
… heck, this came out way longer and way angrier-sounding than I intended, but… at least I feel better having released this.
gettin real tired of people pretending that the writers not explaining every little thing in detail is the same thing as a plothole tbh
has to think once while watching something whoa this is bad writing
To All Massachusetts Voters
Please vote yes on question 3 to protect transgender people! Although I am not a political person and I know literally almost nothing about politics, if question 3 is not passed, people like me will be without protection. Not only does it impact me, but it impacts all transgender people statewide, which could lead to nationwide. Please help in keeping the protections for my friends and I, because transgender people are just as important as everyone else. We are people, and everyone deserves to have protection.
Ooh, perhaps 32 and 33 with Chase and Stacy?
Hey did y’all know I can write angst without torturing anyone?
The prompts here were: “Were you drinking again?” & “I gave you everything and this is how you repay me?” from this list.
Content warnings: alcohol, mentions of suicide.
Thank you so much for the prompt, I hope you like the fic!
“Were you drinking again?”
It’s the same question as always, but something in Stacy’s tone puts Chase on edge at once – especially because this time, he can honestly answer in the negative. He looks up from his place on the couch, taking in the sight of his wife – if he can even still call her that – standing in the doorway to the kitchen. She’s holding up an empty whiskey bottle, her eyebrows raised accusingly, and she’s using her don’t you dare lie to me voice.
“No,” Chase says, and his wife’s eyes flash with disbelief. He doesn’t blame her; in the depths of his depression he’d hidden a lot of things from her, not the least of which being his alcohol addiction, but he’s doing better now. He hasn’t had anything to drink in over two weeks, and besides – he never drinks that brand. Whoever’s empty bottle it is, it’s not his.
“Oh, I’m sure.” Stacy tightens her grip on the bottle, causing a split second of confusion where Chase is half-convinced she’s going to use it as a weapon. But she simply keeps glaring at him, seemingly unaware of her aggressive posture. “I can’t believe you would do this. After everything we’ve been through -”
The phrase sparks irritation and Chase is on his feet without thinking. Everything to Stacy is half the story at best – she knows about his drinking, and his depression, and his failing channel. But she doesn’t know about Anti, or the real reason for Jack’s coma, or the ongoing effects of Schneep’s possession and Jackie’s disappearance and JJ’s arrival. She doesn’t know the hell he’s endured for the past year and a half, or how hard he’s tried to save his marriage – not to mention his family’s lives.
“I haven’t been drinking,” Chase says firmly. He stays where he is, half a room away from his wife but feeling like the distance is much greater. In the beginning of their marriage he’d have crossed the room in an instant, they’d have talked things through and ended with an embrace, and it would have been fine. But that was a lifetime ago now, and he doesn’t trust himself to move. “Stace, I’m… You know I stopped drinking. I’m better now. I’m… I’m really trying.”
A beat passes, and then Stacy softens as she processes the sincerity in his voice. She glances down at the bottle, then back at her husband. “So you swear you didn’t drink this?”
Chase crosses his heart, making sure to hold his wife’s gaze. “I swear.”
After another moment Stacy sighs, setting the bottle back on the kitchen counter beside her. “I guess it was an old one then,” she says, but she makes no move to go toward him. “I… shouldn’t have jumped to conclusions.”
Recognizing that it’s the closest Stacy will come to an apology, Chase offers her a smile. “It’s okay,” he assures her. “You have good reason to doubt me, given… Well, you know.”
She returns his smile tightly, only the slightest hint of warmth reaching her eyes. “It’s late,” she says abruptly. “I’m going to go to bed. Are you -”
The question cuts off, but Chase knows what she means. He shakes his head, not wanting to crowd her. “Not tonight,” he says. “I’ll just… sleep out here again.”
This time warmth does soften Stacy’s expression, her smile becoming more genuine at the acknowledgement of Chase respecting her boundaries. He’s been sleeping on the couch for a month now – his idea, not hers – and he’s not going to move back to the bedroom until she says she’s okay with it. “Good night, Chase.”
He sinks back onto the couch, feeling strangely deflated. “Night, Stace.”
For a long time after she’s gone he just stares at the wall, lost in exactly the kind of thoughts that his brothers – the ones that are still here, anyway – always tell him not to dwell on. It takes him almost a minute to realize that the shadow he’d been following with his eyes is moving in a way it shouldn’t, darkening and twisting around itself, like –
Chase shoots to his feet, caught between fight or flight, and in that moment of indecision he loses the ability to choose. Anti’s voice rings out around the room before the demon himself becomes visible, and Chase prays that his wife is far enough away not to hear him – or that if she does, she has the sense to stay away.
“H̸ell̶o̶ a̧g͢a͡in̸,͢ ͠puppet̨.”
Biting back a sharp response, Chase forces himself to keep his voice steady. The less he angers Anti, the more likely it is he’ll get out of this unscathed. “What are you doing here?”
Anti moves out of the shadows, but tendrils of them still curl around him like wisps of smoke. He stops a foot away from Chase, looking him up and down with apparent disappointment. Shadows flicker across his face, his expression slipping into one of feigned concern. “It̴ l̛ooks̵ li̸ke y͝o͢u̧’͏v͏e ̛ha͢d ͏a͜ ͜ro̶ug͝h day,” he says. “M͡aybe͝ ́you͘’d l̕ike som̀e̕t͟h͏in̡g̛ ̴to͟… ͘t̶ak͘e͡ ̕t͘he ͟edge ̧off͟.”
Realizing what he’s implying, Chase takes a quick step back and vehemently shakes his head. “No,” he says firmly, the word colored by the faintest hint of desperation. “I told Stacy I’d stopped drinking, and that’s not a promise I’m going to break.”
“Y̨o͟u̵ m̷a͏d̕e mé ͝a ̷pr̸omi̵se ͝t͜oo̸,” Anti sneers. “Or ̕h̨ąd͢ you fo͝rg̀o͜ţt̶en?”
Chase swallows, fear solidifying into a painful weight in his head. He shakes his head, beyond words. He hadn’t forgotten, but he also hadn’t anticipated that Anti would hold it over his head for so long. He had thought that once Anti had Jack he’d loosen his hold on the others, but putting Jack in the coma had only made the demon more restless and even more malicious.
“G̡o̶ód.” Anti flickers out of existence, reappearing just in front of Chase – so close that he can feel the demon’s magic, can smell the blood from the wound on his neck. “So̕ ͏t͠h̕e̸n͝…̶̧ h̨ow wo͝uld̷ ̷y͠o͜ų ̸l̡ike̕ ̡a dri͞nk̕?”
Again, Chase shakes his head, but he knows he doesn’t have a leg to stand on. He’d promised Anti obedience, and the demon had been taking full advantage of that. If he resists, someone else gets hurt… but if he obeys, he could lose everything. Stacy barely trusts him as it is, and he knows better than anyone what alcohol does to him. He can’t risk it.
Before he can give voice to his refusal, something knocks him backward, a weigh pressing down on his chest. When his blurred vision clears he can make out Anti’s face, inches from his own. “I gav̡e y̕o̴u͞ ͜èvéry̵th̀i̴ng,” the demon snarls, “an͞ḑ ̡thìs ́is ̧how̴ ̧y̸o͠u ͢repa͠y͘ ͟m̕e? ͝ Yoú’̷d ͏b͏e de͏àd ̀ẃith̸out̀ me, ͢B͡rody -”
With more strength than he knew he possessed, Chase shoves the demon off him, struggling into a seated position.“I wish I was!” he snaps. “You should have just let me die.”
Anti, having glitched away to avoid being thrown to the floor, reappears with a scowl on his face. “I’͝m͏ n͝ơt ̴go̧in͞g tơ kill you,” he says. “Bu̕t̵ ҉if ͏yo͝u ̵keep͏ diso̕be̕y̶i͡ng̡ me͏, I’m g̕o̢i͜ng̀ t̢o ̀h̡av́e̢ to͘ ͞fi̧n̵d o̴t̸her ̨wa͘ys̨ ̡to ̧ķe͏e͢p y̸oú͞ i͟n͝ l̀in͝e̴.” He pauses, mock thoughtful. “I̶ wo͘ņdér̵ w͠ha͘t s̢w͞e͞e͘t̶ lit͡t̨ļe James̡on ͏is͡ ͜d́o͢i͠ng̀ ̶t͢on̶i̢gh͞t?̢”
“Leave Jamie out of this.” Chase glares at the demon, fighting to keep his voice low enough not to disturb his wife or wake his sleeping children. “Just… tell me what you want from me.”
“I j̕u͘st͞ w̸a͝n̶t̛ to share̢ a dr̨ink͡ ͝w̡i̴th͠ a̕n͠ old̵ ̨f̨ri̸en̨d̢,” Anti says, two bottles of whiskey materializing in his hands. He holds one out to Chase, who takes it in a shaking hand. “T̴ha͡t’̧s m̶y̷ bo͟ỳ.͘ ͠So,̨ w̴ha̷t́ ͞do ͢y̢ou ̵s͡a͠y̸, Cha͘s̴e?̶ A̢re y̕ou ͝g̡oiǹg t̛o͟ ̨plày͠ al͡o͟n͡g,̡ o̸r͘ d̢o̴ I̴ ne͜ed to pay͜ ̸a ̵v͟isi̛ţ ҉t̀o͠ y͠our b͡r͡ot̵her̵?͠”
Chase’s heart sinks. He closes his eyes, steels himself, and then raises the bottle to his lips. “Bottoms up,” he mumbles, fully aware that there’s no coming back from this - and that there may not be anything to come back to anyway.
A lifetime later Stacy comes back into the living room, hair swept back and her face freshly washed. She smooths her night dress down, nerves fluttering in her stomach. It’s a big step, but she knows she’s ready for it. “Chase?” she calls as she enters the room, flicking on the light and giving her eyes a moment to adjust. “I was thinking, do you want to -”
- share the bed tonight?
The words die in her throat, fading into a dismayed cry as she sees the bottles littering the floor, her husband passed out amongst them with his face pressed against her bundled up sweater. She stares at him for a long time, a thousand thoughts swimming through her mind, until one bubbles up to the surface and tears well in her eyes. Turning her back on the limp form of the man she once loved, she pulls open the desk drawer and withdraws a stack of paperwork she’d been on the verge of shredding. It’s all filled out, save for their signatures. With a trembling hand she signs her name, then tosses it onto the ground beside Chase.
He’ll see it when he wakes up, but by then she and the kids will be long gone.

How To Help Trans, Nonbinary Communities Amid Reported Trump Policy Plans
The Trump administration is working on a plan to severely narrow the legal definition of gender, according to a report in The New York Times on Sunday.
The proposed policy, according to the Department of Health and Human Services, would define gender “on a biological basis that is clear, grounded in science, objective and administrable,” meaning it would define gender as either male or female as determined by genitalia at birth. Any dispute about an individual’s gender would require genetic testing. This would have major repercussions for the transgender and gender nonconforming communities ― particularly in regard to health care.
Roughly 1.4 million Americans identify as transgender, and as of 2017, violence against this community is on the rise.
Since the Trump plan was revealed, protesters have been gathering online ― often using the hashtag #WontBeErased ― and in person around the country. On Sunday night, several hundred people gathered in Washington Square Park in New York City.
But there is still a lot of work to be done to make sure the trans and gender nonconforming communities are protected.
Here are some ways you can help:
Vote
You’ve likely seen people coming out in droves to encourage others to vote; it’s one of the most important things you can do as an American. Casting ballots at the federal, state and local levels affects transgender rights. Check Vote.org for ways to promote turnout in your area. Call your friends and family members nearby to go to the polls with you, and remind those in other states to vote too.
Educate yourself
Being an ally isn’t just patting your trans or nonbinary friends on the back or retweeting them occasionally. It’s about respect and fighting for their rights. The first step to being a good ally is educating yourself on the basics — knowing someone’s preferred pronouns, avoiding stereotypes and learning what policies in government directly affect the trans and gender nonconforming communities. You can find a primer on those issues and more here.
Promote helpful resources and trans-led organizations
While many “prominent national organizations are not led by trans or nonbinary people,” many are and need help on both the national and local levels. Some of those organizations, according to Out magazine are: Audre Lorde Project, Casa Ruby, Familia: Trans Queer Liberation Movement, Fierce, Organizacion Latina de Trans en Texas, Southerners on New Ground, Sylvia Rivera Law Project, Trans Latin@ Coalition, Trans Law Center and Trans Lifeline. More comprehensive lists can be found at the Trans Justice Funding Project and Borealis Philanthropy’s Fund for Trans Generations.
Sharing numbers like the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 800-273-TALK (8255), the Trevor Project at 866-4-U-TREVOR (866-488-7386) and Trans Lifeline at 877-565-8860 can be immensely helpful for those in crisis.
Share the work of trans activists and journalists
Groups like Lambda Legal, the ACLU and the Transgender Law Center are legal organizations that ofter extensive information about trans rights and policies that affect them. Keep an eye on their social media pages to see if they’re holding events you can take part in or to share their messaging.
Additionally, sharing the work of trans and gender nonconforming journalists helps spread the messaging being put out by the community for the community. Too often, work about the trans community is written by people who are not members of that community ― which can be completely OK, as long as it’s done correctly. This piece in Them does an excellent job of explaining the problem with media organizations not hiring trans reporters to cover trans issues.
Some individuals to follow include Janet Mock, Laverne Cox, Chase Strangio, Tyler Ford, Trace Lysette, Amiyah Scott and Meredith Talusan.
You know, if you don’t vote, you are in effect saying that all this shit they are pulling is okay. You accept it. Is that really the person you want to be? Vote. Please.
Help Needed
Hi all! Sorry to do this again. My friend asked if I can reactivate the original donation post. But due to it’s length, I decided to post a new one instead.
(Original post: https://risentigre.tumblr.com/post/177853223482/help-our-legally-blind-friend-get-her-brain-mri)
They need $215.
Her father was hospitalized due to hypertension and he’s been in since Sunday (about a week now). They found that his arteries are blocked and causing him to have difficulty breathing. He’s a farmer and apparently had been feeling poorly for a while but stubbornly refused to see a doctor. The daily injection alone to help with the clog costs around $32. He can pay for his hospital bills and meds but the family’s other needs like electricity and utility bills as well as food are things they’re struggling to pay for this month since my friend herself is still recovering from her own medical issues and is on disability benefits.
Once again, we humbly ask for your help. Any amount no matter how small is greatly appreciated. A reblog also goes a long way.
Thank you all so much for your kindness and generosity.

What is Darkiplier? Here’s my theory on it.
The character Darkiplier is a well liked character of those that Mark Fischbach, AKA Markiplier, has created on his youtube channel. However the true nature of him has almost entirely been a mystery. Darkiplier is a powerful, mysterious, and intimidating entity, wearing the guise of Damien (Another of Mark’s Characters) in a suit and tie. Who Killed Markiplier provided him with an origin, but the ending of that series left many still scratching their heads, including me, for a time. At first, I thought that Darkiplier was the union of Damien and Celine’s spirits, with Celine’s mystic abilities and Damien’s intelligence. Then, I thought it was Damien in control of the dark powers of Markiplier Manor, which had used the body of the Y/N District Attorney as a host of sorts.
But then I realized something. I realized that besides being a well of powerful dark energy, Markiplier Manor is the domain of an evil being, a being I call “The Entity.” The Entity is a dark, malevolent deity that has bled into our reality from some other dimension or reality. I take this part from Mark, when he said that “(Darkiplier) bleeds into our reality.” I gathered that the Entity was a sentient being instead of just a dark force, when I remembered that it actively turned Mark against the Colonel and his friends, and when it showed the room that was full of Mark’s investigations into their pasts to the viewer after hiding it from them for the entire series. This shows conscious thought, not just terrible intention.
I think that The Entity originally did not mean to enter our reality. It may have unconsciously begin to “touch” it with it’s vast powers, but then after it realized what it was doing it acted on what it had done. Or it may have always intended it, but never been able to fully take over our world for some reason.
All of this, though, does nothing except raise more questions - what happened to Celine and Damien? The ending of WKM made it seem like Damien was in control, what changed? Well, the Entity pushed them aside. It obviously has more power than both of them put together, so it either wounded their spirits or just imprisoned them inside the body they all share. What evidence do I have? In A Date With Markiplier, at a point during Darkiplier’s monologue to the viewer, part of it seemingly tries to escape. But after that, Dark looks off balance. But why? Why would The Entity be trying to escape it’s body while trying to seduce the viewer into “letting it in” to their body? Well, it is not trying to escape it’s own body, someone else is. Damien or Celine, but most likely Damien.
Another bit of evidence for the Entity’s control over Damien and Celine is not only the strange visage of Mark with black eyes, saying “it’s not fair, is it,” which was confirmed to not be Mark, but someone else in Who Killed Markiplier, but also in Who Killed Markiplier, while “Celine” and “Damien” talk to the viewer in the “upside down,” an almost mocking voice echoes everything they say. Plus, Damien says “let me in,” the same thing that the Entity-controlled Darkiplier says in A Date With Markiplier.
I think that gives an idea of the Entity’s role in the “story” of Darkiplier. Now, onto Darkiplier’s abilities.
Even when it was not in Darkiplier’s body, the power that the Entity possesses is tremendous. Inside it’s stronghold in the Manor, the Entity was able to twist the laws of physics themselves, create immensely powerful illusions, summon lightning, allow humans to cheat death, and create pocket dimensions. In fact, the “Upside Down” may be a pocket dimension of The Entity’s creation, or a look into the realm that it comes from. In the body of Darkiplier, though, the Entity’s powers are even more diverse. It can tamper with electronics, instantly transport itself and victims anywhere in an instant, create pocket dimensions, create spacial loops, almost possess a kind of telekinesis, when it shattered a mirror just by cracking its neck, and also create elaborate illusions.
The scary part is, since The Entity only “bleeds” into our reality, that means that the power it possesses as Darkiplier is only a tiny fraction of the power it possesses in it’s own dimension. Meaning that it is probably a nigh-omnipotent god in it’s reality.
So, that’s my theory on what Darkiplier is! It’s absolutely crazy, but it’s grounded in evidence (mostly.) Next time I post, though, I will show a theory on Wilford Warfstache that may blow your mind.
