Rating Non-Zelink and Non-BotW Link Ships in Legend of Zelda Games because they don't get enough love

Malink; Malon x Link: Adorable and somewhat canon depending on who you think TP Link's parents are and what timeline shenanigans you subscribe to. Link's first non-Kokiri friend turning into his soulmate is cute and finding peace after the craziness of OoT is beautiful. Also, Malon is cute as a button. 11/10, love you, funky Horsegirl.

Ilia x Link: Pretty good but feels too much like a reskin of Malink to be really fun. People give Ilia grief for freaking out about Epona but it really isn't fucking deserved. Girl get's done dirty by the narrative and the fandom and she deserves better. Also, memory loss and falling in love all over again is absolute peak. 9/10, you deserve better, baby.

Marin x Link: A child's first taste of tragic ending and hot girls being doomed by the narrative. Very child friendly "Calypso and Odysseus" feel to this one. Still, Marin is absolutely adorable and the idea of falling in love with a literal dream is heartbreaking. 10/10, would cry like a little kid again.

Link x Ruto: Okay, hear me out, this one isn't terrible. Ruto's chld-like crush on the guy who saved her life is pretty cute and being a haughty teenager about it is pretty funny. Also, she understands they can't be together, and sends him off with her love and good wishes, which is surprisingly mature of her. I'm just saying, Ruto isn't the weirdo people make her out to be. 7/10, it still feels like entrapment

Midlink; Midna x Link: TOP TIER! BEST OF THE BEST! ABSOLUTE PEAK ROMANCE! Romeo and Juliet style star-crossed lovers from literal opposing sides of reality. Allies of convenience to friends to soulmates?! PEAK! Adorable evil goblin design for most of the game and then complete knockout reveal at the end?! ROMANCE DOOMED BY THE NARRATIVE?! PEAK, I TELL YOU! PEAK! (Also I headcannon that because Midna looks like a Hylian she's considered ugly by Twili standards so Link finding her beautiful warms her heart). 20/10, best ship, best girl, best love story.

Ganlink; Ganondorf x Link: Objectively the funniest Legend of Zelda ship in existence and I will take no arguments on that. Destined enemies giving the middle finger to fate and falling in love instead? Amazing. Ganondorf hates every minute of it but he's also the happiest he's ever been with this stupid twink and he hates that too. 10/10, something something the Grinch's heart grew three sizes that day.

Link x Zant: Objectively hilarious as Link is seducing his enemies into submission yet again, like any self-respecting bard, but this one feels a little too Batman x Joker like for my liking. I really ship Zant x Therapy but Midna watching her rival give up his conquering ambitions for a twink is objectively hilarious. 8/10, not great but not bad.

I don't ship either of them personally, but what about Ravioli (Ravio x Link) or Vidow (Vio (Purple Link) x Shadow Link)?

I think those are the most popular non Zelink Non-botw Link ships that weren't already covered in this post, so I wanted to bring them up. (Also bonus points for Linked Universe Raviloli, still don't ship it but I love sweet and sour ships)

Ravioli; Ravio x Link: There's loving yourself and then there's this, you know? Something very endearing about it, like two puppies that look up at you with pathetic and adorable eyes. Kinda cliched but sweet nonetheless. Don't know much about Ravio apart from the ship and what I've read on the wiki, but he seems really sweet! 8/10, very nice, but nothing new.

Vio (Purple Link) x Shadow Link: This one's for the booktok girlies! Sunshine x Grumpy, enemies to lovers, extra sweet, serve with some angst on the side. In all seriousness, it feels a little to played out and... pseduo-incesty for me? Like I'm not judging... I'm just asking why. 7/10, questionable but not terrible.

Link x Impa (no specific version): The DEFINITION of a power couple. Badass warriors with vastly different styles covering for each other, going from professional co-workers with the same goal to the most passionate of lovers. Also, something VERY appealing about the spy/rogue character falling for the forthright warrior character. Zelda cries tears of joy because it's like her siblings are getting married but in a non-creepy incest way. Their wedding is crashed by Hyrule's enemies trying to stop the inevitable birth of whatever super-warrior babies their genetics will produce and they go off to their honeymoon covered in the blood of their enemies. (10/10, would fuck nasty in the workplace again)

Link x Cia (yes I know I put this in the comments but I'm putting it here too): Look, I'll admit it, I'm terminally down bad for evil women who would definitely ruin my life, and Link probably is too. Yandere witch falling for the himbo paladin is a trope I eat up. Their whole dynamic is "Cia: I would kill for you. Please let me kill for you! Link: No." Yes it is toxic and probably unhealthy but sometimes you don't ship something because you think it'd be a good idea, you ship it because you wanna see how far this trainwreck goes. (10/10, would unleash witch!Yuno Gasai again)

Link x Lana: The DRAMA! The ANGST! "You killed my sister and I helped you because she was a monster." "I love you but destiny says I shouldn't. I'll just have my heart broken again." "The universe itself says we shouldn't be together so why does it feel like the rightest thing in the world." HELL YEAH! I EAT THAT SHIT UP! (100/10, would defy destiny again)

Basically, Mr grifter announced that he might be getting into the collecting side of yugioh, which would lead to the scalping hell that now plagues the Pokémon and One Piece TCGs

As a joke, MBTYugioh gave them pointers on what to “invest in”, recommending some of the WORST shit products that this game released in the years

He then followed up with a tongue-in-cheek, clearly trolling video recommending shit like Legendary Duelists sets, Duelist of Deep and Synchro Storm, and the Platinum cards, and exclusive COINS before ending the video with “Don’t invest in yugioh. You will lose money due to this game’s reprint policies”

Like, it was very obvious for anyone with half-a-brain cell and is familiar with Yugioh that the video is a joke

BUT a bunch of scalping bots took the video at face value and bought out these doodoo, worthless products immediately after his fuckass video came out

Now they’re sitting on unsellable trash. 100% deserved, I hope everyone whose trying to grift this game like Pokémon loses their money
