About me: You can call me Viper. I'm 22 years old and I'm currently a senior in uni. Since I'm a student, I may not be able to post as often but I'll try my best :) What I write for really depends on my mood and what I'm currently fixated on. I write for female readers as that's what I'm comfortable with writing.
This is my side blog! I only use this account for posting. Any likes from me will be under @xxshortclubxx and I no longer use that account for anything.

Requests/Asks: They are open for the characters above! I do prefer if you provide a bit of detail so it's easier for me to write. I'm open to a lot of things, if you're unsure just ask! :) I'll let you know if I'm uncomfortable with your request.
For anyone who’s waiting for updates to the Na’vi!Gojo fic, please know that I am working on it. It’s going to take a bit longer because I currently have the worst shifts possible at my job 😭 I’m literally closing every night and I’m dead by the time I get home so I don’t have much time to write, and I work retail so you can guess how draining that can be.
But! I’m still writing whenever I get a chance and I swear I’ll get the next chapter out by this weekend. I just didn’t want to rush the chapter and put out something that’s shitty and short.
This goes for any new chapters of the fic, just know I’m working on it whenever I get the chance but there’s no schedule for when I post.
Thank you all so much for all the support! I really love reading your comments and seeing how many people are interested enough to be added to the tag list!
Hi, I love your fanfics! Especially the gojo ones! I just had one question… do you use chat gpt in your writing because you use a lot of m dashes and it sounds like ai 🤖 and I put one of them through an ai detector and it came out to a whopping 60%! Please do not take offence 😅
i will take offense actually.
why would you take my work, copy it, and send it to an ai detector without my consent ? you don't know where those tools store text or what they do with it and you didn't even think to ask before pasting something i spent hours working on into god knows where to probably train the very models you're accusing me of using. that's a massive violation of my privacy as a writer and deeply disrespectful.
the em dash is a stylistic choice for pacing and emphasis that has been used in literature for centuries. if you go read classics like wuthering heights or jane eyre, you'll see they are full of them. would you copy and paste charlotte brontë into an ai detector and accuse her of using ai too ?
this really bothers me a lot, not just because of this message, but because how disrespectful people on tumblr have become toward authors in general.
you don't know how much time i put into my writing. you don't know how many hours of my free time go into planning, drafting, editing, and rewriting. this is something i do for free, purely because i want to share something i made with others.
so yes it's genuinely violating to find out that my work was copied and pasted into an ai detector without my consent and then waved back at me like proof of something. interactions like this are exactly why i consider taking everything down.
God forbid someone knows how to use em dashes correctly in their writing.
A lot of authors keep writing to develop better ways to express themselves. It really sucks that em dashes are where people immediately assume ai when it comes to writing. I was taught how to use em dashes in middle school by my english teacher and it was my favorite thing to use. It just made writing so much smoother for me. I love using it when it comes to interruptions in dialogue, and I still use it to this day because there's nothing that can compete with — when a character gets cut off.
Ever since people have started assuming that em dashes mean that the author is using ai to write, I have almost completely stopped using it in my writing, both fiction and academics, because I don't want to be flagged for ai even though I know for a fact I didn't use ai. I don't want to waste my time explaining to people who like to accuse others of using ai when they see an em dash in their writing.
Authors take time out of their day, their personal life, to write. They absolutely do not have to, but they do because they love writing and they love creating stories that people will love. Because of the fact that their works are written completely by their own hand, it takes time for it to be posted. If we were to use ai to write, we could easily pump out a 50 chapter series in one day, whether or not the plot makes sense or goes anywhere. But we don't, we actually sit down to plan, write, edit, and post.
Even if our personal lives don't get in the way, we can still take hours and days to write because our minds can blank on us at any time. I would much rather take days or even weeks to write a chapter that I know came from my brain than to use ai to create some sloppy work.
If I have the creativity to create my own work and plan my stories the way I want them to be written, then I will do it, no matter how long it takes.
This whole rant is also about how people automatically assume colons, semicolons, and oxford commas to be signs of ai. Guys, come on, these are basic things we learned in elementary. We literally use them every day. If you simply didn't pay attention in school and never bothered to learn how to use proper grammar, just say it because it shows.

─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
Nothing could’ve prepared you for the amount of running you had to do to keep up with a Na’vi. Worst part was that he was barely even jogging.
“Hey, I don’t think we had the chance to introduce ourselves,” you called out. You gave him your name.
The Na’vi looked back, his tail flicking as he heard it. “Satoru.”
His name came out smoothly, unlike the words he said where he wasn’t confident in his ability to communicate with you. He tilted his head slightly, waiting for you to repeat his name.
“Satoru,” you repeated.
It sounded weird coming from you. He could tell you had never spoken his language a day in your life. It didn’t bother him though, he knew he could teach you if you were interested in learning.
“We’re close,” Satoru said, leading you through the forest again.
You don’t know how long you’ve been walking, or running half the time. You had no idea where you were, the forest looked the same to you at every turn. Satoru clearly knew his way around. He confidently led you to an area where thick roots covered the ground.
The roots were the base of a giant tree. You looked up, gasping when you saw just how big the tree was. It was easily bigger than anything on Earth.
“This is home,” Satoru said, looking up as well. “Come.”
You followed after him, carefully stepping on the roots. Satoru was a couple steps ahead of you, he turned back to you, watching as you took slower and smaller steps than him.
“Don’t look down,” he said.
You did exactly as he said, keeping your eyes on him instead. You were right to not look down because below the two of you was a bottomless pit. Well, technically it has a bottom but it was so far down you wouldn’t be able to see it until you reached it.
You could hear talking from inside the tree when you two reached the base. Shrieks of laughter from children echoed. Satoru’s clan was just a few steps away.
“I don’t think it’s a good idea for me to go in,” you said, stopping in your tracks. “Humans and Na’vi don’t have a good relationship and I don’t want them to think I’m going to do something to them.”
Satoru stopped just before he entered the tree. You noticed how tall he was, he was taller than the entrance, having to bend down to avoid bumping his head.
“You’re no threat,” he said. He looked over you, you didn’t look like you would be any danger. You didn’t look like how Spec-Ops looked.
Noticing that you were still hesitating, he stepped forward towards you. He crouched down to your level, looking you in the eye. This was the first time you got a good look at his face. His eyes were so bright and blue that you were sure you’d end up blind if you kept staring. You were so close that you noticed he had white eyelashes which brought out his eyes even more.
You didn’t notice it before, but he had tiny bioluminescent dots on his face that created little patterns and shapes. In fact, it was all over his body. You made a mental note to write it all down when you get your notebook back.
“I bring you here, I trust you,” Satoru said. In all honesty, he didn’t know why he trusted you. He barely knew you. He only knew that you wanted to study the planet, and the woodsprites had believed that you were as pure as they come. “They trust me, so they will not hurt you.”
Before you could argue, he stood up to his full height again and walked over to the entrance. He bent down just enough so he didn’t bump his head. His tail flicked as if motioning for you to follow.
You weighed your options. Either you follow him into his home, or you stay outside and go back into the forest of Pandora, where danger lurks in the shadows. You chose the latter.
You quickly followed after Satoru. The tree was more hollow than you thought. There were spiral branches in the middle that went up, almost like a staircase. You looked around, seeing the Na’vi walk around. They looked so different compared to Satoru. They were all dark blue, black hair. They were the complete opposite of him.
A few Na’vi children ran forward when they saw Satoru. They spoke rapidly in their language, most likely asking where he was and what he was doing. Satoru responded, easily communicating with his people.
One of the children saw you standing behind him. His ears folded down as he hissed. He shouted something loud enough for the others to hear. You couldn’t tell what he said, but whatever it was made all the adult Na’vi look at you with a mix of fear and anger.
This was exactly what you didn’t want.
“Who is she?”
“Whoa, wait, she’s not a part of the Sky People that has caused us harm,” Satoru tried to explain as his clan members started to circle in. “She’s only here to study us and our planet. She’s harmless.”
“Bullshit, all Sky People are the same! They only hurt and destroy!”
You could see how the clan was divided in fear and anger. Those who feared humans moved farther away, dragging the children away from you. Those who were angry had no fear and walked straight up to you and Satoru, a few had their knives out.
“Not this one, I saw it myself. If she had intentions of harming us, she would’ve tried to kill me,” he said, looking around at the surrounding Na’vi. “I will let the tsahìk decide if she stays or not.”
A few of them weren’t happy, hissing at his words.
Satoru stood his ground, he knew he had the upper hand in this. He was Olo'eyktan in training. He was the strongest warrior the clan had ever seen. The majority of the clan trusted him, even if they didn’t, they trusted the tsahik to make the final decision.
“Take her straight to the tsahìk, nowhere else,” one of them hissed. He looked older than Satoru, definitely one of the older members of the clan.
Watching the interaction, you noticed how young Satoru looked compared to those surrounding the two of you. A lot of them had the look of someone who had seen too much death and destruction. You also noticed just how tall Satoru was. He was easily a foot or two taller than the other members.
Satoru nodded. “I’ll take her there.”
He gently grabbed your arm, almost dragging you off. The members of his clan stepped back, letting you two walk.
You looked up at Satoru but didn’t speak. You didn’t want to give anyone another reason to hiss at you.
“You will meet tsahìk, she decides if you stay,” Satoru said quietly when the two of you were far enough away from the other members. “I will tell her you are safe, but she makes the decision.”
“What is tsahìk?” You asked.
“Spiritual leader, she hears from Eywa,” Satoru explained. “I will explain later.”
You had so many questions.
Satoru led you to a small hole in the tree, the entrance covered with a large cloth. He pushed the cloth aside, letting you go in first.
The tsahìk, you assume, looked up when she heard you walk in. Her eyes hardened, looking at you up and down. Her tail flicked as she looked over at Satoru who was just making his way inside. You could tell she was irritated by your presence.
Satoru crouched next to you, he was too tall to fully stand up inside the hole.
“Mother, I found her in the forest. She is a researcher for her people,” Satoru explained, giving her your name.
“I can see,” the tsahìk said. “Why is she here? She should be with her people.”
“She’s studying our planet and has a genuine interest in it, unlike her people,” Satoru said. He looked at you before looking back at his mother. “I want to show her things about us and our planet.”
You watched as the tsahìk came closer to you. Even though she was smaller than Satoru, she was still bigger than you. It was still terrifying to see her move. She didn’t say anything to you. She only looked you over again.
“You do not like Sky People, you haven’t ever since—”
“I know,” Satoru cut off her sentence. His tail lashed once to the side. He had a look on his face that was unreadable to you, his ears folded down just slightly. “But I saw a woodsprite land on her notebook while she was writing about the plants. I think it was a sign from Eywa that she’s no danger to us. I want to know why Eywa chose her.”
The tsahìk tilted her head. As the spiritual leader, she knew how important Eywa was and how her signs were always intentional. Woodsprites have always been known to be sign from Eywa, but it was never clear if the sign was good or bad.
“I see,” the tsahìk said. She was silent for a moment, lost in her thoughts. “Then I expect you to be responsible for her and everything she does. If she causes trouble, she leaves.”
Satoru nodded. It wasn’t like he was going to hand you off to someone in his clan anyway.
“And while you can, learn from her,” she said. With a quick movement, she gently swatted at her son. “You never paid attention to the Sky People when they were teaching us their way.”
Satoru’s ears folded down as he avoided his mother.
The tsahìk looked at you. “Teach him your way, and he will teach you our way.”
You nodded. It can’t be that hard to teach Satoru. Oh, how wrong you were.
Satoru couldn’t sit still anymore. He grabbed your arm, pulling you up. He ushered you back out, holding the cloth to the side for you.
Right before he left, his mother called out for him. “Satoru, do not put all your trust in her. She is not one of us. The Sky People have shown us what they are capable of, we cannot afford to lose more of our people.”
Her words had an underlying message. She was warning Satoru because she knew what had happened the last time they put their trust in the Sky People. They had lost members of their clan, Satoru had lost someone he cared about, and one was almost severely injured.
Satoru didn’t say anything. He nodded and left.
Standing up straight, he stretched out his limbs, his muscles flexed for a second before relaxing. Your hands were itching to draw him into your notebook and write down everything you’ve seen and heard for the past hour.
Satoru’s ears perked up as if he just remembered something. “Ah, notebook. It’s over here.”
You followed him around the tree, his clan members clearly weren’t trusting you, some glared at you as you walked by or went the long way just to avoid you.
“Wait here,” Satoru said before jumping up onto a branch and swinging himself up higher. You looked up, watching him swing with ease. It was interesting to see how agile they were.
It wasn’t even five minutes later when Satoru dropped down in front of you, notebook in hand. He handed it over to you. The notebook was still in good condition, a little dirty, but everything was still readable.
“I read it,” Satoru said. He grabbed the notebook out of your hand, flipping to a page. He showed you the drawing. “This one. It’s missing half up here.”
You looked at where his finger was pointing, the top half of the sample was missing something. You could see where you had drawn the jagged edges, a sign that it was ripped apart. You remembered how he had reacted when he first saw the drawings and realized that the organisms were killed. Thankfully, he had believed you when you told him you weren’t the one to kill it.
“Ok, so where’s the top half?” You asked, looking up at him.
Satoru handed the notebook back. “I’ll show you.”
~~~~
Satoru moved through the forest with ease, he didn’t even need to look twice when he pushed past the leaves of different plants. You, on the other hand, struggled to keep up. Not because you were shorter than him, but because the leaves held no mercy for you.
The leaves he just walked through would come swinging back into you, smacking you in the face. He didn’t even notice, he was too caught up trying to find whatever it was in your notebook.
You had to wait an extra step or two for the leaves to swing back at full force before settling down. Only when they settled, you walked through them.
Satoru waited for you at the base of a tree trunk. He watched you push past the last leaf, your face scrunched up in annoyance. He held back a laugh, knowing you wouldn’t appreciate it.
He pointed up at a blob on the tree. You squinted your eyes, trying to see what exactly the blob was.
Noticing your struggle, he reached up, gently grabbing it and bringing it down to you.
It was some type of lizard or salamander. You wouldn’t really know, you’ve never seen one on Earth. They went extinct long before you were born like many of the animals that used to exist.
Satoru pointed at your notebook, making you flip through the pages until you landed on the right one. You looked at the drawing you made for it, comparing it to the living creature. Only now did you realize the sample you got was actually the bottom half of the lizard. You could see the distinct back legs and the long tail.
You grimaced, wondering what other half animals you had accidentally drawn. You looked at the living lizard in Satoru’s hand. It had two sets of front legs, a large head with four eyes, one set of back legs, and a long tail. You made a new drawing of it next to the original, noting down the markings it had.
Satoru watched as you drew and scribbled. When you finished, he let the lizard go back onto the tree.
“When we die, our spirits go back to Eywa,” he said, watching the lizard scamper up the tree. When it was out of sight, he looked down at you, then your notebook. He gently tapped the old drawing. “This one? Dead, spirit is with Eywa now. It will wait there for its family so they can be reunited. One day, they will be reborn as new.”
You stared at the old drawing, looking at the difference between the old and the new one. You had drawn the pictures so detailed that you could remember exactly how the sample looked when it was sitting on your desk. You remember it being a mess of something you couldn’t figure out. Now, you knew, it was the mangled bottom half of a lizard. Clearly, the Spec-Ops had no regard for the life on Pandora.
"You mentioned Eywa earlier when you were taking me to meet the tsahìk. What is Eywa?"
Satoru's tail flicked as he thought of an easy way to tell you. "She is the Great Mother. She is made up of all living things, she lives in us, and we live in her. The tsahìk is spiritually connected to Eywa, more than anyone, we always wait for Eywa's words to be heard by her. It can be signs we see, or words whispered in the wind. Eywa is everywhere, and a tsahìk is always listening."
He reached back to grab the long white braid, bringing it over his shoulder. He held the bottom of it out to you. The white hair fell over when he turned it upright, revealing long tendrils.
"This is kuru, we use it to connect our spirit with animals, plants, and Eywa," he explained. "We call it tsaheylu when we use it to connect with something."
The tendrils seemed to move on its own, standing upright and moving in waves with no issue. You drew a rough sketch of it, writing down his words on the side. You tried to reach out for it, your fingers almost touching it before he pulled it away.
"Don't touch," Satoru said, folding his ears down for a second. "You are not built to connect with us, it could hurt you."
"Oh, right," you muttered, feeling embarrassed that you even tried to reach out for it.
"I'll show you how it works another time," he said. He tossed his kuru back over his shoulder. A smirk made its way onto his face when you avoided eye contact due to your embarrassment.
"Tell me about you."
Omg I finally finished this chapter. This is the longest work I have and it almost took me out how do people write 11k works???
This whole chapter was just the equivalent of Gojo finding an animal in the woods and running back to his mother to ask if he could keep it LMAO
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
By the time you made it back into the compound and snuck back in, it was almost completely silent. During the day time, it was filled with noises from the machinery being use, voices shouting orders. During the night, it was filled with the quiet atmosphere of Pandora.
You could hear the quiet chirps of bugs, the leaves and grass rustling. It was calming. You envied the species that got to live on such a beautiful planet.
Making your way back to the research lab wasn't difficult, no one was around during this time of night. It was usually Sci-Ops that liked to pull all-nighters to study so it wasn't unusual to see you walking down the halls.
You pushed the door open walking into the lab that you have grown used to. You dropped your bag on the floor, not caring that it slumped over.
"You're back early."
You almost let out a scream when you heard the voice. The sound got stuck in your throat, making you nearly choke. It didn't stop you from jumping nearly five feet in the air.
You whipped your head over to the voice. Shoko stood to the side, her arms crossed, looking at you expectedly.
"Thought you were going to be gone for a day or two," she said. She glanced over your body, subconsciously checking for injuries.
It had only been a few hours since you snuck out. You weren't even out there for half a day.
"Yeah... about that," you chuckled weakly. "I may have ran into some trouble."
Shoko raised an eyebrow. She walked over to her desk, pulling your seat from your desk as she walked by and dragged it with her. She gestured for you to sit as she sat down in her own seat. "Tell me what happened."
You walked over to your seat, sitting down. You sighed, knowing she was going to chew you out for this. "I lost my notebook."
Shoko blinked.
You blinked.
"How did you manage that?" Shoko groaned. "Please tell me you didn't write any new information in it when you lost it."
You stayed silent. Maybe it would've been better if you had stayed in the forest. You watched Shoko's face morphed into the most deadpan look you've ever seen on her.
Your silence set her off.
"Oh my—" she groaned. Her head fell down into her hands, muttering curses. "I told you this was a bad idea! I thought you were going to get caught sneaking out, or that something out there would get you. No! You lose your notebook, which is filled with new information in case you forgot, in the forest of all places!"
You let Shoko go on her rant about how reckless you were. You were sure that you're part of the reason she smoked so much. You were probably one of her highest stressor. It definitely wasn't the best time to tell her what you had found and written down.
"Is there anything else you want to tell me?" Shoko muttered after her rant. You almost didn't want to say anything after seeing the tired look on her face. You bit your lip. You were about to stress the hell out of her.
"I met a Na'vi."
Shoko's arm slammed down on her desk and moved aimlessly, grabbing the first thing she touched. A stress ball. She launched it at you with incredible speed without even looking. The ball bounced off your forehead, leaving behind a red mark.
"Aaugh!"
~~~~
It had taken Shoko a second to calm herself. When she had finally decided not to kill you for stressing her out so much, she grabbed a binder from one of the many storage closets and placed it on her desk between the two of you.
You rubbed your forehead, annoyed with the slight pain.
"You're lucky I didn't do worse," she said. She flipped the binder open, revealing pages of the forest Na'vi. "I'm guessing you ran into one these."
Your eyes glanced over the pictures taken by the Sci-Ops years ago, before you or Shoko started working with them. It was taken back when there was a schoolhouse on the edge of the compound and the forest. The Na'vi once went to that schoolhouse to learn about humans and their language. In return, humans learned about the Na'vi and their language.
You flipped through each page, looking at every picture and entry. Shoko watched as you flipped the pages faster, not bothering to read the words anymore and only looking at the pictures. Your eyebrows furrowed, where was that Na'vi you saw in the forest?
When you reached the end of the binder, you looked over at Shoko. "Is this it?"
"There's another binder over there," she pointed to the storage closet from earlier. "I'll get it."
She went over to grab the other binder, bringing it back over to you. She pushed the first binder out of the way, placing the new one on the desk.
You started to flip through it, looking at the pictures again, occasionally glancing at the words. None of these Na'vi look like him. They were all a darker shade of blue and they all had black hair.
"What are you looking for?" Shoko asked.
"The Na'vi I saw earlier," you muttered, continuing to flip the pages. "He's not in here."
"They all look similar in these pictures, it can be hard to find—"
"No, Shoko," you shook your head, looking over at her. "He was light blue, and he had white hair. He would have to stand out in these pictures."
Shoko stared at you. How could that be possible? All the Na'vi the Spec-Ops or the Sci-Ops have interacted with didn't match that description.
"Are you sure?" she asked. She started helping you flip through the pages. "Could it just be the lighting in the moonlight?"
"No, I swear he was light blue," you said. "Even if it was just the moonlight, that doesn't explain the white hair. He has to be in here. He was able to speak a little bit of our language, that means he had to have learned it with humans."
"Or he could've learned it from his clan members who went to the schoolhouse," Shoko suggested. She stopped flipping through the pages, looking back over at you. "Why are you looking for him anyways?"
You stopped flipping through the pages. "He has my notebook. I dropped it when he scared me. He thought I had killed the organisms in my notebook. Turns out the Na'vi's don't kill unnecessarily."
Shoko groaned. "You are going to be the death of me, what do you mean a Na'vi took your notebook?"
"I mean he literally just took it with him," you groaned, remembering that moment. It would've been less embarrassing to have just lost the notebook instead of getting scared by a Na'vi and letting him steal it. "I told him that I didn't kill anything that was in there, and he just said 'Sky People are no good' and left."
"At least he let you live," Shoko said. She went back to flipping through the pages, trying to find the light blue Na'vi.
Neither of you had any luck trying to find him. You would think there would be pictures or a whole entry on him because of his unique look, but no, not a single mention of him.
~~~~
You spent the whole day reading through the binders Shoko had given you, trying to understand the Na'vi.
You realized that the information was mostly on their behaviors and reaction to humans and their culture. There was barely anything on the Na'vi culture which disappointed you. There were a couple pages where their language was written out, as if whoever wrote it had intended to study it. You turned to the next page only to find it empty.
What.
You flipped the pages. Nothing. The information just ends abruptly.
"Hey, Shoko," you called. She made a noise, acknowledging you. "Why is the rest of this binder empty?"
She looked over your shoulder, looking down at the empty pages. "Oh, that must've been the last thing written down before the schoolhouse was torn down by the Spec-Ops after an incident. The students didn't agree with what they were doing, tearing down parts of their forest to build bases, so they retaliated by destroying some of their machinery. The Spec-Ops opened fire on those students, if I remember correctly, a few died."
You felt your chest ache as Shoko talked. You flipped back to the last page. Maybe the Na’vi you met had a point, humans were no good to them.
Flipping back to the empty pages, you felt determined to learn more about the Na’vi. You wanted to be able to fill out as many notebooks as you could about their culture, and their language.
Maybe a certain Na’vi could help you.
~~~~
If Shoko had a list of everything that caused her to chain-smoke her stress away, the entire list would be filled with your name. She was convinced that you were trying to send her into an early death because what do you mean you're going back out there?
In your defense, it's been 24 hours since you last snuck out.
You walked into the forest after successfully sneaking out, the bioluminescence of the plants lit up your path as you made your way back to where you met the light blue Na'vi.
You passed by things that would have normally interested you and made you stop to study them. You only had one goal on your mind. To find the Na'vi and to get your notebook back.
A pair of blue eyes followed you. He knew you would be back. A little sooner than he had thought, but here you were, wandering around the forest. He pushed off the tree was leaning on, reaching up to grab onto a branch and lifting himself up. He followed after you from up high, jumping from branch to branch.
He tilted his head when you suddenly stopped walking. He lifted his head, scanning the area. There was no danger around, why did you stop walking?
He looked back down at where you were. His tail flicked when he suddenly recognized where he was. It was the place where you first met him.
You were looking for him.
You looked around, not knowing if you should call out for him. The forest was huge, if he wasn't nearby, chances of him hearing you was low. Plus, you didn't even know his name.
As you tried to think of any way to find him, a soft thud came from behind you. Your hand reached for your knife, turning around to face the sound. Your eyes widened. Speak of the devil, and he shall appear.
The light blue Na'vi was crouched a few feet away from you. He watched you with his head tilted. His eyes flicked down to your hand, his face scrunching up, ready to hiss.
You took your hand off your knife, raising up both your hands to show you weren't going to hurt him. You noticed that he didn't have his bow and arrow this time. He only had a knife strapped to his chest.
His face and posture relaxed. "You came back."
"Yeah, I did," you nod. You relaxed as well, putting your hands back down by your side. "I need my notebook back, please tell me you still have it."
He didn't respond right away but his ear twitched at the mention of your notebook.
"Not here," he finally said. "Home."
You sighed. At least he didn't get rid of it. "Can you bring it back to me? It would suck to try and rewrite everything, even if I still have the samples in the lab."
You started rambling on about your new findings and how you wouldn't be able to rewrite them because you couldn't remember everything about it.
He watched as you rambled, he could hear the excitement in your voice as you told him what you have found just by walking through the forest. He could tell that you weren't faking your excitement, you were actually interested in what Pandora had to offer.
"Come with me," he said, cutting you off. He stood up to his full height, looking down at you.
Your words abruptly stopped. Your eyes followed him when he stood up. He was way more intimidating when he has a few feet over you.
"Come with me," he repeated. He stepped around you, leading the way.
You turned around, watching him walk forward. Your legs started moving before your thoughts could catch up. "Wait! Where are we going?"
He turned his head slightly, just enough for the bioluminescent plants to catch the blues of his eyes. The light reflected off his eyes, giving them that crystal look. Too bad you were too far away to properly admire them.
The corner of his mouth twitched, curling into a small smirk, just enough for you to catch a glimpse of his sharp canines.
"Home."

I hope this was good, I lowkey struggled. This chapter wasn't as Gojo and reader heavy, but next one will be! I just wanted to get some story building in. Planning out a plot and actually writing it out is harder than I thought omg I blanked so many times writing this.
Anyways, I'm sure you might've noticed that Gojo seems ooc, and that's because of a few reasons. This is an au. He's a Na'vi, he's not even the same species as you, and he is still learning how to interact with humans.
Fun Facts!
➸ I based you and Gojo off of Jake and Neytiri. There's a few scenes in the first chapter that I reference from the first movie. The part where Gojo sees you for the first time and tries to kill you before stopping because of a woodsprite, and the part where the plant you touched shrinks back into itself when you touched it after walking into the forest for the first time.
➸ Instead of basing you completely off Jake, I also took inspiration from Grace. That's where you get the love of exploring and studying the world of Pandora.
➸ The schoolhouse part is canon to the Avatar lore, you can find it on their wiki
➸ Gojo did attend the school that was mentioned in this chapter. The only reason he wasn't in any pictures was because he ditched a lot lol. That's also why he's not very good at communicating with you.
➸ There is a reason why he thinks Sky People are no good, and it might have something to do with the incident with Spec-Ops and the students... can't wait to write that part

Pandora offers countless amounts of data and knowledge from various species that inhabit the planet, from plants to animals to the Na'vi. It is your job to study the samples brought in by Spec-Ops, and to learn as much as you can, but when you realize some things had to be studied in person, you sneak out into the dangers of Pandora where you meet an Omatikaya Na'vi for the first time.
Word Count: 2.3k
Warnings: None
This is intended as a one-shot but I might consider making it into a series if I can plan it out... this is also my first Gojo fic!!
Welcome back to my page it's been like 6 months since I posted anything. I heard people wanted a Na'vi/Avatar Gojo fic so I'm gonna be the first to deliver
Gojo's descriptions are based on the drawing made by @/zuunary
I do not give permission for my work to be fed into AI. Fuck off with that shit

Pandora is known to be beautiful, especially at night. The bioluminescence lights up the planet, creating it's own natural light in the darkness. From what you've studied over the years, you've learned that everything on Pandora is alive, one way or another. Everything has it's own purpose whether they provide for the planet itself, or for the species that inhabit the planet.
You and Shoko Ieiri have been studying the planet and their species for the past few years. While the two of you weren't allowed outside the research facility due to the fact that humans were still decently new to the planet and it was considered dangerous to leave. Only those with approvals from the highest commanding officers were allowed to leave, many of them being military themselves or something similar.
Those who were allowed out brought back samples for the researchers. You and Shoko spent hours examining every sample you got. You had notebooks filled with different findings. Each sample was written down with intense detail of how they looked, what they smelled like, what they do. You even wrote down the bioluminescence dots for each sample. The dots were always there, but they were faded and never lit up during the night. At first, you thought it was because of the artificial lights inside the lab, so one night, you turned off all the lights only to realize the lights weren't the issue.
The issue was that the sample was dead.
In order to study the bioluminescence, it had to be alive, maybe even attached to it's original organism.
"I found a problem with the samples," you told Shoko the next day. You played around with the sample in front of you. It wasn't like you needed it anymore, you had studied it enough to learn everything about it.
"Oh?" Shoko kicked the floor, sending her spinning stool over to your desk. She looked at the sample you were playing with. "What's wrong with it?"
You pointed at the faded dots. "You see that? That's the bioluminescence found on almost everything on this planet. It doesn't light up when it's dead, or separated from it's original organism."
Shoko sighed, coming to the same realization as you. She grabbed the sample from your hand, turning it over and over again as if it would magically light up. She placed it back down on your desk.
"We can ask for Sec-Ops to bring the samples back alive," Shoko suggested. Although she knew the chances of that were low.
You shook your head. "No, they'll just kill it before they get back. They won't risk bringing something back alive."
"So what ideas do you have?"
You had one idea, but you knew Shoko was going to lose her mind.
~~~~
"You're insane!" Shoko hissed, her hand slamming down on the table, stopping you from grabbing your notebook.
"I know, but what other ideas do you have?" You wrenched your notebook from under Shoko's hands. "Spec-Ops are more than likely to kill the samples, and we don't have approval to go out there."
"So your best idea is to sneak out?" Shoko scoffed, crossing her arms.
Okay, maybe you didn't really think this through. However, it was better than being disappointed every time dead samples were brought to the lab. Besides, you can't learn about everything Pandora has to offer if you keep sitting here.
"It's just a day or two, I'll be back," you said. At this point, you were saying things to convince yourself it was going to be alright. You were about to head out into the rainforest with no support and no weapons.
Shoko sighed, running her hands down her face. "I'll come with—"
"No."
"N-no?" Shoko choked out. "You're actually insane. You can't go out there alone. You have no training and you don't know what's out there."
"Yeah, that's true," you nodded. You finished packing some essentials into your small backpack. It mostly consisted of your most recent notebook, some food, water, and a knife. "But someone needs to be here in the lab or they'll know. I trust you to cover my back. Please, Shoko, I swear I will be fine. If I'm not, you can be the first to beat my ass."
Shoko scoffed. "I'm doing that whether or not you return safely."
A small smile appeared on your face. "Thanks Shoko."
~~~~
It was 2100 hours when you left the research lab after bidding goodbye to Shoko.
It was 2130 hours when you left the compound undetected.
It was 2200 hours when you found yourself in the rainforest.
You adjusted the oxygen mask on your face. It was annoying to wear, it covered your whole face, making some visibility difficult. You had your knife strapped to your hip. You don't know if it'll even be useful if you came across danger.
So far, you hadn't come across any danger yet. You spent your time kneeling down next to almost every bioluminescent plant you found. Your notebook was filled with new details on how they shined during the night, lighting up your path without any issue.
You touched one of them, causing it to shrink back into itself. Fascinated by the plants, you continued to scribble down new information. You couldn't wait to tell Shoko, she was going to have the same reaction as you when she reads all this.
While you were busy with the plants, you failed to notice a blur of blue above you. His footsteps were quiet. Perfect for a skilled hunter. He crouched on a branch nearby, blending in with the shadows. He watched as you stood up and continued walking while scribbling in your notebook.
His eyes narrowed as they followed you. He had his fair share of interacting with Sky People, he knew what they were capable of. You, on the other hand, didn't carry that same energy and confidence. He didn't think you even had a weapon on you.
He grabbed one of his arrows from the quiver on his back, nocking it onto his bow. He didn't pull it just yet. His eyes continued to follow as you walk past under him. He nearly scoffed, Sky People were so unaware of their surroundings.
He pulled the string back, straightening his back. His tail swished behind him to keep him balanced on the branch. The arrow followed you, ready to be shot.
Right before he let go, a woodsprite floated by, causing him to hesitate. His eyes left you, darting to the woodsprite floating down towards you.
Woodsprites were sacred to his species. Many believed it to be signs from Eywa, he wondered if this was one of them. He always believed that Eywa knew what was pure and what wasn't.
The woodsprite floated down in front of your face. You didn't know what it was. It looked like what jellyfishes used to look like on Earth before they were extinct. You watched as it floated down onto your notebook, landing on the edge of the pages.
Without hesitating, you made a rough drawing of it, trying to add as much detail as you could. Before you could properly study it, it floated away. You put a note next to the drawing, 'floats by itself, is it conscious?'
You looked up again, your eyes following the floating, jellyfish-looking thing. It floated behind you, going upwards. A slight movement caused you to look away from it. Your eyes automatically landed on the Na'vi perched on the branch above you, not too far away from the floating thing, his arrow was still nocked but it wasn't pointed at you anymore.
You stumbled backwards. How the hell did you not realize there was a giant Na'vi above you? You had never encountered a Na'vi before. You only heard stories from Spec-Ops or whoever else was approved to leave the compound. Some had said they were feral animals, some said they were the opposite, that they were friendly.
With the way the Na'vi had his bow and arrow out, you could only assume he wasn't friendly.
Without any warning, the Na'vi jumped down. He landed gracefully on his feet, his tail swished behind him, keeping his balance. His ears twitched as he eyed you.
Under the bright moonlight, and with the help of the bioluminescent plants around, you were able to see him clearly.
He was tall, towering over you by a few feet. His hair was short and shaggy. You noticed that it was white, even the patch of hair on the tip of his tail was white. His skin was a light blue with stripes of even lighter blue stretching over his body. It reminded you of another extinct species from Earth, tigers.
His eyes nearly shined. They were bright blue. Everything about him was just blue. You couldn't tear your eyes away. How could you? He was beautiful.
You knew just from seeing the size of him, the knife on your hip wasn't going to do any damage to him. You don't think you would even scratch him before he shot you down with a giant arrow.
He stepped towards you, bending down to grab your notebook.
You didn't even realize it fell out of your hands. You watched as the Na'vi stood up, placing the bow on his back. He opened up the notebook which looked ridiculously small in his hands.
After a moment, he let out an annoyed sound, his ears folding down.
He flipped through the pages, he understood the drawings. He knew exactly what was what, but he couldn't understand the writing. It was written in the Sky People's language.
One thing he did understand from the drawings was how they seemed to be cut off at some parts. He noticed the jagged edges of plants and animals. He let out a hiss when he realized all the species in your notebook were killed, other than the new ones you had drawn right before you met him.
You flinched when he hissed. You stood still and watched as he continued to flip through the pages, his ears folded back, nose scrunching up.
He spoke in his language. It was unfamiliar to you, but you could tell from his body language that he wasn't happy. In fact, he looked angry.
"I-I don't speak your language," you stammered. You were terrified. Who wouldn't be if a tall cat-looking alien looked at you angrily while speaking in his own language?
He struggled with his next words, trying to remember what he knew of the Sky People's language. He flipped the notebook around, pointing to one of your drawings, he pointed at the jagged edges of the sample you had drawn.
"You!" he hissed, tapping on the drawing. "Kill."
Your eyebrows scrunched together, trying to understand him. Was he accusing you of killing the organism you got from Spec-Ops?
He let out a frustrated sound. He was annoyed that he couldn't get the right words out. He didn't always pay attention when the Sky People taught him and his clan their language.
"You don't kill, no need to," he said. "Plants don't hurt."
You finally understood. Na'vi's don't kill things that don't hurt them.
"I didn't kill them, I swear," you said. You don't even know if he could understand you. "We get those from Spec-Ops, only they're allowed to get samples for us to study."
You tried to explain what Spec-Ops even was, and that you weren't the one who killed the organism. You continued when he didn't try to kill you, explaining that you were only studying his planet when you realized that bioluminescence only worked when the organism was still alive.
When you finished explaining, you stared at him. He made no comment. His ears twitched as he stared at you. You began to wonder if you were going to die.
"Sky People are no good," he finally said.
"I don't do what Spec-Ops does," you explained. "I'm part of Sci-Ops, we study the planet and the species on it."
"Sky People are no good," he repeated. He turned around, walking into the forest. "Go home."
Go home.
Like the compound?
Or Earth?
You watched as he walked away, his large frame disappearing into the trees. For a second, you could still see his white hair before it completely disappears.
You exhaled loudly, relived that you're still alive. Suddenly, your head snapped back to where he disappeared to. Your notebook. He still had it.
"Shit!" You cursed as you ran in the direction he disappeared.
You ran into several plants, all smacking you in the face. If it weren't for the mask you were wearing, you would've scratched up your face. You pushed the large leaves out of the way. You could barely see.
"Can I have my notebook back?"
No answer. You sighed. The Na'vi was gone. He disappeared just as quietly as he appeared. Without your notebook, there was no point in continuing on. You decided to call it and started heading back to the compound.
You groaned as you realized how much you lost. Sure, you could rewrite the old samples and redraw them. You still had it in the research lab. But the new things you found? The bioluminescence that you were able to finally study? The weird jellyfish-looking thing? All gone.
Shoko was going to have a field day with this once you tell her what happened.
From the shadows, a pair of bright blue eyes watched as you dejectedly walked off. In his large hands was your notebook. It was opened to the page of the woodsprite. Although you were one of the Sky People, he couldn't help but feel drawn towards you.
After all, the woodsprite had stopped him from killing you, and it landed on your notebook. It had to mean something, maybe from Eywa. Or it was just a coincidence.
He was looking forward to your next meeting with him. He knew you would come back for your notebook.

Sooo... what do you think? Be nice it's my first Gojo fic and it's not even jjk related 😭
Should I consider making this into a series?
Wrote this whole thing in one sitting, sorry if there's any mistakes
Ok I absolutely loved how the show continued with the games and how intense it was but what I didn’t expect was Min-su taking the drugs and actually eating the pills
It’s a little out of character but I get it, he’s been pressured by Thanos and Nam-gyu for the entirety of season 2 and then he could’ve save Se-mi in the end but couldn’t and he felt guilty about it and didn’t want to be seen as a loser.
Min-su looking for Se-mi during the tag game ☹️☹️ he just wanted to find her and save her but he was so out of it omg wtf was in those pills 💀
And Myung-gi teaming up with Nam-gyu was actually unexpected. I just know he was so fucking done with Nam-gyu and regretting his decision 😭 I love how they portrayed Nam-gyu in the game, he was genuinely out of it and lowkey went on a killing spree like I had thought he would.
I genuinely thought that Min-su killed Hyun-ju like I saw the height and hair and thought wow he really went crazy but then it turned out to be Myung-gi??? Omg I’ve never hated him more 😭 I didn’t like his character since season 2 with how he kept treating Jun-hee because let’s be honest if neither of them were in squid game, he would’ve never reached out to her and he would’ve never known she kept the baby. But the fact that after killing Hyun-ju, he never went up to Jun-hee and just kept looking at her from a distance like bro at least apologize?? Like it won’t bring her back but it’s the least he could’ve done
I expected Nam-gyu to go crazy with the drugs and even have withdrawals from them, but I never expected Min-su. I think that puts a whole new perspective on Min-su and how he is easily manipulated by those around him. I don’t think a single person predicted that route for him either.
I honestly thought that Myung-gi was going to be redeemed somehow but I like that they kept pushing the idea that he’s not a good person at all. I mean, he was a dick to Jun-hee, he only tried to protect her after realizing she kept the baby and was in the games, and he was the reason why so many people were in debt after he told his viewers to bet all their money on a bit coin. I know that Thanos and Nam-gyu couldn’t be the only ones to be loose their money, there had to be others that weren’t in the games. Myung-gi never took responsibility for anything he did, from the coin, to never contacting Jun-hee, to killing people willingly, and then even trying to kill his own baby.
I think a part of the reason he wanted to kill the baby was because he didn’t want it in the first place, and since Jun-hee was dead, they wouldn’t be together anymore and he didn’t want to raise a daughter that could potentially grow up looking like Jun-hee and it would always be a reminder of the games and what happened.
Player 100 was also useless the entire time. He should’ve died earlier. There was no reason to keep him alive for so long, he contributed absolutely nothing. Myung-gi shouldn’t have stopped Nam-gyu from stabbing dead bodies, Player 100 would’ve been dead in the fourth game.
I find it a bit funny that I started this account for random fics of my favorite characters (in different fandoms) and then I got sucked into squid game and I obsessed over them for a few months but my top posts are about kpop demon hunters 😭 like I have over 2k notes on my top posts and all I said was that one of the characters is sassy
But for those who followed me for squid game stuff, I am cooking. It’s almost ready. It’s a Nam-gyu x fem!reader in the hide and seek game.
Nam-gyu is never beating the cat allegations. The way he swiped for the cross in Min-su’s hand while on his hands and knees?? Acting like it’s a cat toy. And mind you, he did it multiple times… like a cat. And then jumping on all fours on the bridge???
I genuinely hope Roh Jae Won gets more villain roles in the future because he did amazing with Nam-gyu. I mean just the difference between the actor and character is enough because wdym Jae Won is the complete opposite of Nam-gyu yet he managed to act the way he does in the show?? I didn’t think he was that villainous or psychotic in season 2 but after season 3 like yeah please give that man more villain roles he does it so good
I absolutely loved the movie and Baby Saja, so I'm making headcanons for him. These are my interpretations of him, obviously, since we don't know anything about the actual character. These aren’t really that serious, they’re like crack headcanons. Idk how many of these I'm making.
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
Like I've said before, he's 100% sassy.
He has that cutesy baby look for fans but the second he’s home he’s staring his group down with a deadpan face and quips one liners that could evaporate their previous lives
Baby: 🫰❤️
Also Baby: That’s why yo mama and sister dead.
He fucking hates doing aegyo
He was 👌 this close to strangling Jinu when he suggested Baby to do it
Every time he does anything cute he silently cursing at Jinu
The fans eat it up every time so it makes him want to strangle Jinu even more
If you don’t watch him, he will succeed
Your food? His food
Nothing is safe from him when he’s in the vicinity
Especially if it’s anything he can chug down
We saw how he was like with that hot sauce and water bottle, your sauces and drinks aren’t safe
You might have to lock them up to prevent him from drinking them
Before you found out about this habit, the boys had to figure out a way to fight him off because he chugged $300 worth of sauces and drinks
Demon stomachs are way stronger than humans ig
You know how some boyfriends will drink out of their girlfriend’s water bottle even if they have their own??
Yeah that’s Baby. He’ll drink your water from your water bottle even though he has his own
By the end of the day his water bottle is still full while yours is empty
He’ll claim that yours taste better
He was the worst when it came to practice. Jinu had to physically force him to participate otherwise he would just sit out until it’s his turn to rap
His raps were all a few lines (if not less) and so he’ll just sit out again after that
Jinu almost returned him back to Gwi-ma
Baby couldn’t give a fuck less
I wholeheartedly believe he wrote diss tracks for each of the boys and threatens to release them whenever they annoy or piss him off
Those threats happen every week
Gossip king
He acts so nonchalant and bored when he’s not out performing on stage or meeting fans but he’s secretly hearing every bit of tea
None of it has anything to do with him
He comes to you to tell you about it and you’ll be like ??? Who tf are these people???
If you ever find a 12 part video on tiktok and you don’t feel like watching all of it for the tea, give it to him. He’ll do it for you, he’ll watch all 12 parts and then tell you the details even if it’s boring
He’s just nosy af but if the boys ever try to tell the fans no one will believe them
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
Ok that’s it for now. If I can think of anything else I’ll make a part 2
