I can’t believe it’s over. I made a a thing and I completed the thing and of course it’s not perfect but it’s finished and it’s mine and I am simultaneously on cloud nine and heartbroken.
I will miss my children ;____;
Thank you so much for taking this journey with me <3
P.S. Since this is the final update, it would be really awesome if you’d consider reblogging this post. Share a complete, queer, romance/sci-fi webcomic with a friend for pride month :D
P.P.S. If you have a question for the Q&A, please leave a comment on LINE webtoon rather than sending me an ask, it’s easier for me if all the questions are in one place. Thank you!
You’re Welcome ♥
HOLY SHIT, IT WAS
But my cat is on me.
RIP tea.
I’ve been having artist-block issues for the past while, but I pushed through with this rather than leave it half drawn in my sketchbook because it is the fault of someone on the internet and that person ought to get the chance to see it.
This is the fault of riddlcr, for posting various songs from the Legally Blonde musical and relating them to Batman. My (AU? Fancast?) would be slightly different from hers, but Harley Quinn and Elle Woods are the same character, really.
I say fault. I am glad to have finished something and to be posting it. This may or may not be the start of actually using this blog to post artwork, which may include fanart, original art, or illustrations for my girlfriend’s various tabletop rpgs.

How can you tell the fakes from the real working dogs?
1. If the dog is confined or has restricted body movement due to being in a carrier, stroller or shopping cart, it is unable to physically preform tasks in order to aid their disabled handler.
2. If the dog exhibits poor behavior and the handler isn’t trying to correct it or isn’t removing the dog.
3. If the dog is entirely focused on interacting with its environment, it cannot be focused on aiding it’s handler.
Certification, ID tags and vests don’t make a service dog. A dog is considered a service dog when it is trained to physically do something (performs a task or work) in relation to the handlers disability. The dog must be doing something for you, that you cannot do for yourself.
(The law does NOT recognize ‘emotional support’ or ‘comforting’ to be trained tasks)

Ok I’ve seen the anti-faker movement cause a lot more problems than it aims to solve, so I’m going to try to do some educating here.
Federal ADA law states that a dog need only be task trained to mitigate a handler’s disability, potty trained, and not aggressive. ANYTHING ELSE (including bad manners) does not mean the dog isn’t a service dog in the eyes of the law.
Many dogs can perform tasks while being held or confined (toy diabetic alert dogs can still work while being carried or in a purse, for example). Some tasks actually look like bad manners. Mobility/forward momentum tasks can look like bad walking manners, for example. For that matter, dogs are not robots. You may see a dog that looks like it is completely distracted, when it’s really just having an off moment.
If you don’t know the handler, you likely don’t know the nature of their disability and how the dog has been trained. “Outing” someone who happens to look like a faker (at least based on posts like this) can be hugely triggering. I’m tired of hearing about friends being attacked for this sort of thing, when their dogs actually do fantastic work. You can’t tell just by looking at a SD team what their whole situation is.
To be clear, I don’t condone faking AT ALL. It’s gross behavior. I don’t condone skipping public access training (unless you’re an at-home team), even though it’s not required. Taking a sloppy service dog out in public reflects poorly upon all SD teams. But we don’t need a witch hunt based on posts like this.
Lastly, it is not federally against the law to fake. Some states have laws about it, but I’ve spoken to the Department of Justice on this and they confirmed that it is not a federal crime.
My seizure alert dog is trained to have her eyes on me at all times. When I leave the room without her or she’s taken away from me when we go to the vet, she gets frantic. Not because of separation anxiety but because that’s what she was TRAINED TO DO. When she makes low barely audible growls she’s alerting me that something is wrong. She’s not a biting dog and is trained to vocalize instead of any kind of attack, she’s not vicious, she is trained to alert me. When I go into places that have food, I put her in a carrying bag. She is a very small dog, a ten pound westie. For this reason people assume she’s not performing a task and hassle me about it. Some people have gone as far as hurting my dog and threatening me. I don’t like the stares. I don’t like the questions. I just want to be able to go places safely. Not all service dogs are big labs or shepherds- my tiny white dog is highly trained for specialized tasks and knows over 200 commands. Don’t assume.
Yes it’s bad when people fake having a service dog but it’s worse when assholes assume a dog isn’t needed because of the reasons the op is trying to say. Just don’t assume. Don’t approach us.
Just adding my two cents that the original post is BULLSHIT and this is very clearly SMALL DOG BIAS as every pictured dog is a small breed. Small dogs can make AMAZING SDs, and for many disabled people are much more manageable.
Small or large, all but one of the dogs in the picture are being handled in ways not consistent with the ADA. ADA does not allow SDs in shopping carts, nor does it allow them to be sitting at a table in a restaurant (like that dog with his paws on the table). I’m not making a comment on whether the dogs pictured are “fake”. But the shopping cart thing bothers me because in the ADA 2010 revision they made it very clear no SDs in carts. You can get kicked out for that, and no one wants that.
This is inaccurate. The ADA does not require businesses to allow service animals in carts or on chairs, but also does not forbid businesses from allowing it. That is 100% the choice of the business. It is completely acceptable for a business to make allowances for people with disabilities above and beyond the basic requirements enforced by the ADA.
The Very Hungry Rust Monster is a mini-comic I made a few years back. I’ve seen it floating around Tumblr without attribution recently, so I’ve uploaded a higher-resolution version, properly credited.

sex-positive asexuals are people who are willing to have sex.
sex-repulsed asexuals are people who want nothing to do with sex.
sex-neutral asexuals are people who are indifferent about sex.
all types of asexuals do not experience sexual attraction, but that does not define their sex life, nor does it mean their sexuality is invalid.
important important important
No, sex positive asexuals are asexual people with a sex positive philosophy/politic. Whether you are interested in sex on a personal level has nothing to do with it. That is important.
Sex repulsed people can be sex positive, believing that no one should be shamed for having or wanting sex any kind of sex where good consent is practiced, and people willing to have sex can be uninterested in the politics of sexual liberation. A sexually active asexual person could believe that sex should only be used for procreation, for example.
stop ignorant vegans making things worse 2k15
if you’re gonna preach about whether something is/is not vegan/ethical for the love of all that is holy do your research first.
honey is vegan. honey is ethical. we need beekeepers and we need the honey bees they keep.
bees are dying out and we need them to pollinate not only our own crops but the plants that allow life to thrive on earth. we need more bees! beekeepers give bees a home and the ability to produce so much honey that they don’t even need it. meanwhile the bees are well cared-for and can breed far more easily.
tl;dr buy honey, save the planet
This argument works in Europe, but honeybees are not a North American insect, and their only purpose in North America other than producing honey is to pollinate imported insect-pollinated crops. In North America, buying honey does not support the ecosystem, just low prices of citrus and almonds.
Which I am all for. Gotta love that almond meal crust key lime pie. But it isn't saving the world and it is ethically questionable if you care more about ecological balance than variety at the grocery store.
The best thing you can do for the ecology of bees is keep native flowers in your garden and avoid pesticides. Honeybees in North America are just a farm animal that helps with a few other crops.
Harper Conservative Government Brags About Punishing First Nations Who Refuse to Comply With Their Colonizing Laws
You want to talk “transparency” and “accountability”? Start with yourselves, neocons.
non-canadian followers, please fucking reblog this
this is our CURRENT government. and they’re a MAJORITY government!! as in they were popularly elected!! they’re breaking treaties and giving TREATY LAND to oil companies, they’re refusing to launch an inquiry into the 1000+ missing and murdered indigenous women, they’re ignoring the UN’s statements that the human rights situation of canadas first nations is DIRE!! they’re using loopholes in the access of information act (loopholes that THEY wrote in) to withhold information on everything from the military to viagra from the canadian public and then have the nerve to fucking talk about “first nations transparency”?!
this is the situation in canada. a majority of canadians think that shit like this is right and just, because the popular opinion of native americans is that they’re lazy mooches- an opinion molded by LITERAL propaganda from the canadian government and our public broadcaster about residential schools back when my parents were kids and which has been passed down from my parents’ generation to mine
Just a teensy correction, a majority of voters did not elect these clowns. Around 40% of voters did, but because of the way our voting system is set up, that can still mean a majority of seats in parliament. (Every other party wants this fixed.) The party in question was also involved in a voting fraud scandal the last 3 elections.
androgynous clothing for the every person
hey! do you find shopping an unbearable task? do you find yourself shopping in a binary gender world, but yearning for something a bit more fluid? do you ever feel awkward, uncomfortable or unsafe looking for clothing in mens/boys sections? if you answered yes to any or all of these, and you have some cash to spend, please check out this link and donate. if you can’t make a donation, please share!
have a wonderful day :)
Okay, but, why does a project about androgynous clothing emphasize shopping in the men’s department and masculine clothing so much? I checked out the kickstarter page and I’m seeing the theme there too. There’s one reference to shopping in “both departments” (marginally better than this tumblr post which only refers to men’s/boy’s departments), but nearly all the clothing actually shown or referenced is masculine or unisex shirts/pants/suits which makes me think the presumption here is still about masculine nonbinary AFAB people.
Androgyny /= masculinity. Femme & feminine nonbinary people exist too and AMAB people almost certainly have MORE trouble shopping in girl’s/women’s departments given how much less socially accepted trans & nonbinary AMAB people are. :( If your project IS meant to include people who struggle with shopping in women’s departments and who want better access to femme & feminine clothing, please make this clear and please don’t contribute further to the already pervasive issue of “androgyny” being limited to butch & masculine-leaning AFAB people. Nonbinary people are more diverse than that. I would not support this project right now.
ETA: Oh geez, someone else pointed out that there’s a video on the kickstarter page which I somehow completely overlooked and now that I’ve watched it, it’s even MORE blatant that this is a project aimed exclusively at AFAB people and definitely does not fit the much broader definition of “androgynous”. So uncomfortable with this project. This is anything BUT androgynous clothing for the “every person”.
ETA2: More people are checking out this reply so here’s some extra links talking about/celebrating nonbinary diversity! (I don’t know all these intimately so if there’s a problem with any of them please let me know. Some of them may have NSFW pictures!)

Stonewall was colored folks, poor folks, transsexuals, femmes, butches… a little bit of everybody. But the narrative that gets sold to people is that it was all these ‘A-Gay’ white normative people. That’s not who riots. Sorry.

"that’s not who riots".
(via genderqueerkid)
THANK YOU.

THATS NOT WHO RIOTS!! so perfect
(via doorhingeteeth)
To be fair, such riots had been happening for a decade already and this was the first time the rioters had been white, cis, and normative enough in aggregate for it to be immortalized as a part of gay history, as the supposed first time the "gay community" fought back.
the 60+ trans women killed this year alone really benefited from binary privilege lol
60 people you know were binary IDed trans women when only 16 of the 235 trans people known to be murdered in the last year were in the USA, some of whom were Ningun Nombres, (13 in Europe make up the rest of the "West") and the countries that make up the vast majority of the death count either do not distinguish between binary and nonbinary in a USAian way within their respective trans cultures or have established genders other than man or woman that many camab people fall under?
I am not claiming any number, just questioning this one. Dead TPOC in other countries should not be used as bludgeons to fight ideological battles between American/Canadian/European trans people. And they should not have to endure the extra humiliation of being misgendered to fit into Western trans rhetoric. We don't know the genders of the vast majority of our dead. We cannot ask them. Friends and family often do not have consistent answers. The official TDoR list calls the unidentified dead women, but that is a mere guess when a person's body is all the information we have. Sometimes we have a chosen or legal name, sometimes a pronoun, rarely a gender that is more than inference. When we do not and cannot know, we should not invent an identity for the dead to fit our preferred narrative.
you’re saying “there can’t be asexual characters because it’d be boring and unrealistic” but all i’m hearing is “i’m an extremely immature aphobic piece of shitty trash that doesn’t understand how asexuality works”
Unless you legitimately...
Your post fell under not understanding asexuality. As experiencing sexual attraction is not required to have sexual exploits.
