oh noooooo
the thing about indie perfume descriptions is that every single of one of them sounds like it should end with "roll initiative"
"One breath and you are at the hive’s threshold, where smoke, wax, and honey conspire into alchemy. A fragrance of sun-baked wood and warm beeswax, buttery, gold, and dense with the ghost of a hundred flowers. The bees’ own musk rises in the air, intimate and unmistakably alive. Honey follows in a deep glow that transcends simple sweetness. Soft puffs of smoke curl in, dry and calming, turning the air velvety and strange. Roll initiative."
One of these has the moral standing of a cartoon villain, the other might save the country.
Welcome to British politics.
Well that's not staying in the tags
Do you think Eridians have some sort of 'rock skipping' sport, where the ones with flatter carapace shoot themselves across a lake and and the ones that go the farthest/have the best form win? Kind of like human diving competitions, but horizontal??
@forestglade YOU'RE A GENIUS YOU KNOW THAT RIGHT
(It's one of Grace's favourite Eridian Sports!)
@stick-eridian-collection
people will say "why cant the eldritch gods just be nice to humans :((" and then kill a bug for existing near them
my dearly beloved mutual you cant just leave this in the tags
While exploring a vast and inscrutable city which seems to predate life on earth I am gently picked up by something incomprehensible with the higher-dimensional equivalent of a cup and piece of paper, then lovingly set outside in my natural habitat. Unfortunately the being exists outside of time and can't really tell human cities apart from one another so I appear without warning in ancient sumer.
Comic I made a few years ago for an anthology

Wh-what do you mean it’s from a birthday cake

Wdym you hate Stratt? Without her you don’t get a story
Omg I love this piece. Grace the hanging man, content with his life but cannot avoid the changes coming; the ship his noose, the rope that binds him to his fate; the blood red stars beside him, Olesya and Yáo the angels haunting him in the background. Eva Stratt, the one who holds it all on her back, the world is literally on her shoulders, the Petrova line on her neck. She will not falter, cannot afford to move, and yet still she glares at us. Eva challenges us, daring us to ask if we could do better, if we could hold her burden for even a fraction of the time.
Eve, the mother of sin, who held the world in her hands and was cursed for not knowing.
Eva, director of the task force, who now holds the world, and still must curse man to save it.
In the end, it always falls on a woman. I could never hate you Eva Stratt
Wake up babe, new octopus just dropped
He's such a little guy!
We're at the "JK Rowling is personally funding litigation to try and destroy AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL" stage of rabid UK terf brain.

Tldr Amnesty International, global human rights organisation, published a report called 'A growing threat: the anti-rights movement in the UK'. In it is detailed, amongst others, a whole bunch of transphobic groups and organisations, including Beira's Place, JK Rowling's trans exclusionary sexual violence support service. JK Rowling threw a shit fit and got Amnesty to take the report down by threatening libel. This was obviously not enough, because you can't appease a fascist, so now she's going to bankroll a bunch of lawsuits anyway through the JK Rowling Women's Fund.*
You can read an archived version of the report here, please save it and share it.
*Not so friendly reminder there is no way to engage in the wizard books without enabling this shit.
