the things happening in my notes these couple of days... and for what. for saying israel takes bombing places and antagonising friends and foes alike too far. which is like objectively the truth. like even if you are israeli you gotta be like, "fuck we just bomb people too much huh?" like i'm sympathetic to yall having to defend your statehood with all yall got but like you *are* bombing people too much. be honest

insane to say israel wouldn’t be as hated if they responded to 10/7 ‘in kind’. is your grand idea here that Israel would’ve won the pr war if they abducted toddlers and infants from their safe rooms after setting their homes on fire to lure them out, paraglided into a music festival to slaughter and rape people and spit on the half naked body of a dead woman from the music festival that they paraded through the city in the back of a truck (shani louk). 10/7 should’ve never happened to begin with and in ‘in kind’ response would’ve been as violent and bloody and civilian killing as any other military response. what on earth are you attempting to say.

ok i'm gonna pretend all of yall aren't blowing up my notes with the most bad faith read of my two month old post imaginable and answer this as if your question is genuine. i mean that if following oct 7 israel had bombed gaza for like a week and killed maybe a couple of thousand people and ended its response there, everyone would've been like "ok fair" (by everyone i mean most citizens of most countries, excluding a bunch of 20-25 year old leftists in the west who were going insane from day one). but instead israel kept levelling gaza and killing and starving mostly civilians who are not part of hamas for years, to the point that now for the past year or so even the more staunchly pro israel governments have been going like "ok israel calm down" because this went way past self defence and/or retaliation a LONG time ago

of course the main point of my post wasn't about this at all and was instead about how israel decided to fuck over ukraine for no reason at all by buying stolen ukrainian grain from russia and pretending to play stupid when ukraine officially asked them not to do that. ukraine has been neutral all these years and in fact the population here is mostly pro israel in this conflict, but israel giving money to russia pissed everyone in ukraine off in a big way and we started complaining about it and somehow immediately got accused of antisemitism (as i have also been in the notes of my post that is very specifically about the actions of the state of israel and says nothing about jews). i don't like it when countries do war crimes or give money to russia, and i'm free to write that on my blog. i'm neither anti semitic or pro hamas (i'm also not a leftist btw), so would be great if a bunch of you could stop hallucinating things i never said and leave my humble blog alone. thank you

p.s. russians commit genocide here in ukraine but our response is limited to targeting their soldiers and places that fund their war machine only, as opposed to indiscriminately bombing residential buildings and hospitals. so i speak from experience when i say it's possible to show restraint and humanity even in a terrible existential war, ie to defend one's country and/or retaliate against terrorist attacks without stooping to the levels of terrorists one claims to hate
