I can’t be the only person that doesn’t like in manga/manhwa/manhua/webcomics when there’s a character of mythical origin that is either part animal or a were-beast but the artist for some reason gives them a set of human ears AS WELL AS animal ears??? Like bro what? Either make the human ears more animalistic and lose the animal ears or lose the human ears all together!!!

Look I love a good childcare RoFan as much as the next but more than half the time these authors lack understanding of how children behave at certain ages and also their size! Now sometimes it might be translator error but like, 6 year olds are not usually less than 2 feet tall and they also aren’t toddlers??? They might talk in a baby voice still but like… they should be able to feed themselves, be writing letters, reading, etc. Assuming the child is “average”. But half the time these kids that are supposed to be from like 6-10 are portrayed like 3 year olds and it’s honestly a bit infuriating that the author couldn’t do a little research.

I just got to work and went to punch in on the time clock and genuinely forgot what my code is.

I’ve worked here for 2 years and 5 months and have had the same code for 2 years. But I just straight up forgot it, and had to go into my text history with my coworker to find it because I had to ask her to clock me out when I left early one day from being sick.

I punch that code in 4 times a day, but still forgot it.

I am a regular white woman with Eastern European/ Slavic genetics and at 25 and a half I’m looking at myself and realized that my hair line, that has for as good as I can remember, been composed of only blonde and light brown hair (I myself am a darker brunette), has now got black hairs growing. Now I’m perfectly pleased with this, perhaps I’ll look less bald but I’m also growing more grey and white hairs in general now too so I’m curious about how they’re related. I’d sincerely appreciate it if non-Brazilians reblogged this. Media outlets all over the world (and especially in my homeland) will try to sweep this under the rug but the horror has spread nationwide. We call it chacina for a reason.

It would be of great help if other countries and their citizens held Brazilian politicians/figures of authority accountable. Or, at least, acknowledge very publicly that there's an ongoing effort by the Brazilian police force to exterminate black and brown people, especially in Rio.

Every time a school shooting is perpetrated by a student, there is this discussion around how they were ‘driven’ to this point by bullying and loneliness due to their snotty peers. The truth is that their peers had every fucking reason to want to stay the hell away from them and often that ‘bullying’ was telling the teachers and other students about the jaw-droppingly violent and bigoted shit the kid was saying. The awkward gay kid with no friends who is intensely bullied is not the kid shooting up the school, the sweet nerd with a heart of gold no one has seen yet is not the kid shooting up the school. It is the angry, vengeful, hate-filled kid who has outcast himself from his peers by terrifying the fuck out of them. There were signs. There were so many signs. But every authority figure is afraid to ‘ruin a young boy’s life’ by intervening and fucking doing something.
