250 Word Reflection Report

I feel like my progress throughout the first term of my second year has helped me to improve my skills in animation and my approach to storytelling. The dot and he shape project were especially fun for me to animate since as it was a fun way to express the emotions of characters without drawing facial features on the shapes and dots. I did a lot of research for each project; however, I do feel like I could have pushed my research a little further, but I did try my best to either go out, read books, or watch videos to find resources that would help me within my work. I faced a few challenges at the start of the year and towards the end with the last project being the Warmonger one, I was struggling to think of a story that would show potential and progression until I got feedback from the group. The other things I did struggle with through the projects was time management, although this was more towards the end of the term when my ideas took a while to become developed, but I overcome this by trying to think of my story and thought process from a new perspective, which helped me to animate the final project for this term. I have overall enjoyed all the projects throughout the year and I think it has helped me to gain new skills and techniques, and I feel like I have animated each of the projects to the very best of my ability.
