Stars in full bloom.
People really think writing a whole ass diary entry in 4K after immediately blocking the person it’s about is a flex. Babes that ain’t shit. That’s emotional leakage with wi-fi.
Really blocking someone just because they were associated with someone who saw through your shit? Immature much. But tbh with the way you act, didn’t expect maturity in the first place.
If we’re calling disagreement that don’t stroke your ego, ‘harassment’ my guy ima need to revoke any license you have of critical thinking.
How were you even on reddit?
And how you doing a whole fuckin vent into a ‘case and point’ essay (I still fuckin can’t with this) and end up saying like nothing at all? That should lowkey be a skill nah? Writing 10 paragraphs but it means jack.
You really wanna call someone a bitch for having an opinion, but the only one throwing a tantrum any time someone disagrees is your ungrown Redditor ass.
And yeah you did misgender her on purpose. can’t tell me you didn’t when I legit asked you why you doing that and instead of being a decent human and correcting yourself, you went ‘don’t see your point.’.
wanna call me a liar?
let’s see you argue with reciepts.
Legit even got someone else to double down on your bs cause you can’t fight your corner yourself. What you gonna say now bro? I was ‘harassing’ you for asking basic questions? It’s acc a joke.
Said yami was ‘condescending’, ‘close-minded’ and unpleasant.
You sure you ain’t describing yourself? 🤡
Look at them reciepts fr. you think I have anything pleasant to say about them? you think anyone does?
Acc insane. How you showing not just 1 (1) red flag in a short convo but 3 (3)? Narcissism, cowardice annnd misogyny?? You going for a strike bro? You going for a jackpot? Toxic masculinity bingo?
tbh tho this reciepts prolly don’t mean anything right? since you’re just gonna ignore their existence anyway like you do with anything that isn’t kissing your ass.
idk who blew that much smoke up your ass my guy to think you could say this level of shit and think you ate with it? You ain’t anything but legit irrelevant, loud, wrong whilst hiding behind a block button.
Lmao the irony is not lost on you.
anyway good luck with your next meltdown or whatever the fuck you call that. Just make sure next time you spell ‘case in point’ correctly.
Shan out 🥱
OP I wonder who do you think takes their alcohol the best and who’s a lightweight outta these four? 👀😳
such a great question!! as requested by @shanomaly are my hc for my fave 4 ( natsu, lucy, erza, jellal ), from less to most tolerant to alcohol !!
Lucy is definitely the most sensitive member to alcohol. They've been " trying " to build up her tolerance over the many occasions where they party, but it seems like she's doomed to be a lightweight forever. She will absolutely be singing drunk karaoke after two cocktails- also, she's super picky with her drinks. She will have the fruitiest, most extravagant cocktails from the menu, and especially enjoy anything that has actual pieces of fruit in them. She is a big fan of sangria which gets her drunk VERY fast. She is a flirty drunk and never gets sick the day after somehow. She can always rely on Natsu to ensure her safety and therefore never really worries about being unsafe or having to worry about how much she's having. You will absolutely find her on the dancefloor at like 9 PM when it's completely empty and having Mamma Mia karaoke. She's a partygoer and you will always have a good time with her !
Jellal starts off with lower tolerance as he has never experienced parties before, which means that he has obviously never drank before. He totally underestimates the effect and starts drinking like Erza and Natsu do- which is a terrible idea. He despises beer but enjoys wine, even if it's Mirajane's terrible house wine ( nobody knows what she puts in there. ) At his first Fairy Tail guild party, he gets pretty wasted after getting offered hot pepper shots by Erza, who says it's " tradition for new members ". At the end of the party he is COVERED in sweat, left in his slighhhtly slutty sleeveless top and pants. Erza makes sure to get him home, in his one person bedroom in a pilgrim-domain of Fiore, and he begs her to stay over. He gets kicked out the day after, considering how offensive it is seen to bring a woman over in such a place. Jellal avoids getting drunker than tipsy, as it leads him to having terrible nightmares and sweats, but he enjoys getting a couple of drinks just to " loosen up " and socialize more with Erza's friends.
Natsu has a way better tolerance than Lucy and he can go for a couple of pints without feeling too tipped off. He enjoys partying in private committees, like with the guild or with his friends, but won't go out in place where he'll be all pushed around in crowds of strangers. He likes having drinking contests with Gray ( of course !! ) and always makes sure never to drink TOO much in order to keep an eye on Lucy. He makes it his personal duty to get her home safe. He even prepares a BIG glass of fresh water that she can gulp overnight that Gray has enchanted to keep fresh, as well as some aspirin for an eventual headache. He makes sure that her windows are open to keep her cool and so he can perhaps check on her in the morning. Natsu has darts contests with Erza and he always wins, which drives her absolutely crazy ( Erza is a VERY sore loser ).
Erza is the final boss of alcohol. As expected, she has a very high alcohol tolerance and is seldom drunk. Her weakness is spirits; and she will always remember the bottle of homemade genever that she and the team drank at Christmas. Beer and wine have no effect on her. She enjoys a nice glass of wine and finds genuine interest in the process of wine-making and grape harvesting. She's also into niche rhums and bitter, sour aperitives. You can always catch her with a digestive after a nice meal, which she enjoys simply for its fine taste. At parties, she sheds her armor to dance with Lucy and play pool with Jellal. He's TERRIBLE at it and she teaches him gradually how to angle his shots and accomplish successful tricks. She teases him on his blush as soon as she angles his body and arms to increase his accuracy. Erza often hosts Jellal after their drunken evenings; she rubs his back through his childhood nightmares and listens to his spiraling anxieties. The day after, they can be spotted in the main hall chatting as if nothing happened, planning their next mission or having a comforting hangover breakfast.

Okay as someone who loves astronomy, reading your HCs (yeah I got around to doing it properly lmao), I NEED to know about the other magic you designed for Jellal’s bloodline?
Like a whole nation just related to stars? And they are the pride of HBM? Give me that lore NOWWE.
Jk. No but seriously I need to hear more on this cooking 🔥
Oh my god. Thank you for the ask!
My idea with HBM for my Jellal backstory is that it’s a magic that encapsulates heaven and divinity as a whole. There’s aspects of the physicality of heaven (e.g celestial wonder and power) but then it transcends into something beyond that (going more into like deity like status.)
Because there is defined star magic with the key holders in Fairy Tail, I didn’t want to copy from that but rather try and expand on magic we maybe not have seen yet. We know gods exist in FT and the magic is broken (e.g time magic etc) and I wanted to have something of that gravitas without seeming out of place.
There is also the fact that the country where I HC Jellal to come from (Almeta) is almost archaic in nature. Divine. Religious. Blessed. And I wanted it to represent that.
So alongside the canon HBM in Fairy Tail, in my HC it’s actually a subset of Heavenly magic that was gifted to the founder of Almeta.
In my HC’s there’s 9 books.
I’ll do a breakdown of how it works.
1 - Heavenly Body Magic: which we all know is all rounder celestial power for attacks on the field and to manoeuvre in battle
2 - True Heavenly Body Magic: Again in canon, an enhanced and more devastating/destructive form of baseline HBM
3 - Dark Heavenly Body Magic: Not officially named in canon but I could see it being where the darker spells like Altairis come from (but also to expand on that, its magic that utilises the darkness of the heavens in full force - a forbidden type)
Some spells to give you an idea of what I had in mind are:
Eclipse - Self explanatory but it fullout blacks out the battlefield and stops the flow of magic — a full void of light in all sense like it’s sucked out of existence
Cast of Darkness - A rain of asteroids cratering the affected area (mass damage / cataclysm)
Gravity Manipulation - self explanatory, manipulating the radius of gravity around you in battle. Can be done both abruptly or at a controlled pace.
(Yeah General Radahn clearly didn’t inspire this one-)
Heaven’s Death - An attack that literally splits the sky over a massive radius, sucking out oxygen from the atmosphere briefly like a puncture in the sky before unleashing destruction.
(So before the actual attack happens, enemies are already disoriented and suffocating.)
A spell that takes as much as it gives. Ritualistic to cast.
(Full corruption/alignment with darkness is needed to use it. Think of it as judgement day bought forth.)
I will say though Altairis and spells like Abyss break are bridge spells/gateways to Dark Heavenly Body Magic from the more baseline form. More powerful versions of the spell exist but that’s going into very corrupt territory.
And the true essence of Dark Heavenly Body Magic is just insane and irreversible. A pact from the user to the forbidden spells.
4 - Healing Heavenly Body Magic: On the opposing side of corruption, there is light. There is hope. This form of magic focuses on cosmic restoration. Uses Celestial energy to replenish life and health.
5 - Illusory and Dream Heavenly Magic: Mind based celestial power, can manipulate perception, sleep and dream states.
6 - Astral Heavenly Body Magic: This subset of HBM focuses on the power of the celestial soul. Almost like a sister of the magic above, but this about out of body experiences not just in dreams, soul projection and astral control.
So instead of using physical celestial forces, this form of allows the user to seperate their soul from their body and wield celestial energy in an untouchable state.
(Thought projection could have been a spell that branched from the concept of this.)
Doing things like:
Projecting their spirit into the cosmos and gaining knowledge from the stars
Fighting as a celestial entity whilst the body remains untouched (of course this isn’t a permanent state but-)
And etc.
7 - Abyssal Heavenly Body Magic: An extension of Dark Heavenly Body magic, not just corrupt but nightmarish. It focuses on incomprehensible forces beyond the universe. Think of it like the Eldritch horror of the heavenly forces.
Spans from all consuming voids, gravitational collapse, the absence of everything and beginning of nothing.
(I’m not going to lie this part was really inspired by my love for Bloodborne-)
It transcends limits of reality because it is created by the unknown.
8 - Divine Heavenly Body Magic: Just as the magic invokes the unknown, it also invokes what’s beyond. The theme of this subset of magic is divinity.
The power of Celestial Authority.
Rather than using stars or gravity or whatever other forces of the heavens, this branch allows the user to “call” upon divine celestial forces.
Think like the power of the CSK and keys but more encompassing.
The user would be able to do things like:
Summon Celestial Beings (Holy Star Entities, Cosmic Avatars or even Gods)
Summon the spirits of those who fought with the same magic as either something to embody or have as backing force in battle
(So other HBM users in history can be summoned and channeled.)
Bless allies with increased power, insight or protection
Control the movement of celestial objects, dictating their paths and energy
(Again this bit was lowkey inspired by the Elden Ring spirit ashes-)
9 - Absolute Heavenly Body Magic: This is the highest form of Heavenly Body Magic.
As it’s beyond human comprehension.
Because it’s no longer about stars, gravity, destruction or whatever lies between. It’s about what they represent: souls, justice, punishment, rebirth and control over the fundamental laws of existence.
It embodies literal transcendence, cosmic law. It governs fate, souls and universal law. It’s the bridge between life and death.
Think something like Fairy Law but it’s on a divine scale. Based off justice. Absolute justice.
Heaven’s Law: It’s the ultimate truth. No one can even tell the damage of this spell because of all it affects.
The most broken form of magic that HBM encapsulates, but it’s also the one most taxing and the one that is the most risking as if it deems you unworthy to cast it, you’re the one who pays for it.
The average mage or even S class mage or over can’t just channel it. It’s like an oath in blood. Asking of the heavens to deliver judgement through time.
It’s not something that can be learned. It’s something that has to be granted. Earned.
There’s only been one person capable of using this form of magic in history and they were a demigod of an all powerful bloodline.
The founder of Almeta: Siegrain Aldemir.
Though one user learning every subset of the magic is unheard of. Most only specialise in one or two. Maybe a few at most. And it’s nothing intensive either. Really on average one subset is like a lifetime of study and blending them (even two!) requires insane capability and magic potential.
There are actually ranks of what user of HBM specialises in what:
Attackers/front line: They focus on brute force. So baseline HBM and maybe using illusory abilities too.
Defenders : Focus on speed and deflection in battle (so using the same as the subsets as the attackers)
Priests/Priestesses : More in tuned with invocation or healing. They do know some things to defend themselves, but they have the onus of channeling their power for the higher cause and peace of others.
(Jellal’s mother Kaileen falls under here)
I have don’t want to go on too much about this too since I’ll go on forever and this answer is already long enough as it is-
Though before I end:
Of course as diverse as this version of HBM is, the entirety of it hasn’t been preserved. The books have been lost/stolen or destroyed through out time. Almeta alone only had a handful of them (1,2,4,5,6) but their books also get stolen (during Jellal’s abduction.)
Hence Jellal can use/learn Heavenly Body Magic during his leadership in the TOH.
So yeah…
Thank you so much for this ask. I really loved answering it and I hope you didn’t mind me blabbing on about this magic hierarchy. It’s been a hot minute and I forgot how much thought went into Jellal’s backstory and the world building behind it.
It’s not canon but I think it’s still really cool and I hope you and others do too.
It wasn’t fully just related to star, I hope you can forgive me for that but I hope it was related to celestial bodies enough to make it count.
Thank you once again and please if you want to ask anything more or want clarification on anything, please do not hesitate to shoot me another one!

Just going to include a link to my HC post in case anyone wants to see where the whole thought process of this magical hierarchy stemmed from and how it slots in for Jellal.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to read this ❤️
Simon Mikazuchi: The Most Over-glazed Side Character in Fairy Tail
I don’t usually do posts like this, and I know I am going to sound like such a b-tch for saying this but like f-ck it.
I don’t get the love for Simon. Like at all.
And whilst I am critical, I don’t usually hate characters. But Simon, he’s one of those few who are the exceptions.
And before you think so, no it’s got to do with the fact that I like Jellal.
It’s because of the emotional weight Simon gets is completely out of proportion to who he was and what he actually did.
Might sound callous, but like—
Yeah, he died?
And?
What else did he do?
Nothing is notable about him except negativity and passivity.
Examples?
He was jealous of Jellal when they were literal enslaved kids
Meanwhile, Jellal probably didn’t even notice because—idk—he was focused on surviving.
He got his face rearranged—literally lost his jaw and his bloody eye—all because he couldn’t wait to until after an ongoing rebellion to be petty about a crush. Like bro—you are in the midst of a f-cking war, people can die if you stop fighting now, your girl you like could be one of them. WHERE ARE YOUR PRIORITIES.
And it’s not a matter about him being a kid, or like teehee a crush. He lacks like perspective period. All of this is happening outside of him and he cares if Erza has crush on Jellal?
Not the safety of his ‘friends’. Not the fact that Grandpa Rob just died (I believe he did by then). Not the fact that if they get captured it’s possible they might be killed for it.
But no.
It’s his crush that’s of importance now.
How tone deaf—
And on that point, did he actually care about anyone other than Erza???
Erza fought for all the little kids. Jellal wanted freedom for everyone.
What did Simon do? Sit next to trauma and stew about his feelings. Like I get it not everyone is going to be a profound like that, but why is everyone acting like he did something.
He literally did nothing.
Then when Erza tries to save Jellal—who let’s remember is being tortured—what does Simon say?
“Do you like him or something?”
HELLO??? I CANNOT.
Someone you know is possibly dying and that’s your response??? Excuse me? (I’m sorry I won’t say this guy is Jellal’s friend because he is not.)
This isn’t love. Not in any form. It’s insecurity cosplaying as concern.
And then let’s take in consideration that Erza was tortured to the point that she lost her eye. And now Jellal is in that same space and hasn’t been seen since. A good friend would be like “we need to get there quickly.”
They would haste on his behalf.
But Simon doesn’t haste.
He hates.
And you know the guilt Erza has for not getting there quick enough to save her friend. You think Simon stalling her doesn’t like lowkey play into that?
But yeah let’s go on about how great Simon is.
And then he dies. He dies in a scene that was never about him in the first place—just to add extra trauma to Erza.
Even as he dies, what does he say?
“I’ve always loved you.”
Not : “tell the others i’m sorry.”
Not : “save him.” (Let’s be real at this point I don’t think he cared if Jellal was saved or not)
Just : “Remember me.”
All whilst coated in that same insecurity, self absorption and narcissism he’s had as a child.
He’s not thinking about that Erza is going through it. That she just got betrayed. Nearly sacrificed. No he just wants her to remember what he felt.
He doubted her capabilities when it came to Jellal and this confession feels like a lowkey punishment for that.
Like “Look at who you loved and what he did, but I’m the one who truly loved you.”
But does that actually read as a confession of love? No. No it does not.
It reeks of his same bitterness he’s had throughout but is being given a pedestal because he’s dying in her arms.
It wasn’t a declaration of love. It was an attempt to one up the man he couldn’t beat, even when the man was steeped in delusion and insanity.
It was the final guilt trip.
A desperate play to be the one remembered.
And I guess it worked out in his favour didn’t it? Because Simon wouldn’t be remembered out of his own relevance. He’s only remembered because of those who are actually relevant carry his name.
For all he is, his character feels off. And not in a way that’s mistaken.
He’s weird.
Icky.
Bitter.
And most importantly selfish beneath the quiet act.
He didn’t lead.
He didn’t change anything.
He didn’t save anyone.
So why does the fandom act like he’s a fallen saint?
And do you know what hurts most about this? About Simon and his connection to Jellal?
Jellal mourns Simon like a brother.
He carries the guilt of killing him so hard, it drove him suicidal. He carries Simon’s name, his memory as he mattered to him. Like he was someone who stood by him—someone who tried.
But let’s be honest here:
If the roles were reversed, would Simon have done the same?
Nothing in canon says he would’ve.
When Jellal descended—when he fell into madness—
Did Simon try to do anything to stop it? Did he try to speak to him? Even try to remind Jellal of who he was?
He didn’t step in. He didn’t even say “we need to help him.” He didn’t even try to reach him.
He just watched and then decided:
“Oh, he’s evil now.”
No protest. No struggle. No heartbreak.
Just judgment.
Maybe even contentment.
And it’s just tragic because Jellal remembers Simon with sincerity.
But Simon?
Simon never saw Jellal as a brother. He didn’t even see him as a friend. He saw him as a threat. A rival. A problem.
So it lowkey hurts to see Jellal carrying grief for this man like it’s a sacred thing—for someone who would have never carried him back.
Simon died and Jellal is mourning his name years after like he lost blood. If Jellal died? Simon would be the first one to light the pyre.
He was not noble. I’m tired of hearing people say or act like he was.
He was insecure, jealous and forgettable.
A side character who watched people suffer and only stepped in when it served his own feelings.
Simon Mikazuchi wasn’t a hero. Wasn’t even a martyr.
What he was, was a selfish opportunist—quiet, calculating and emotionally strategic.
For a better word: a snake.
Yet despite all that, he was still a walking L.
A loser from the beginning to the end.
Didn’t love Jellal. Didn’t even love Erza imo.
All he loved were his insecurities and his self pity.
And someone needed to say it.
Alright I went back and read the rebellion chapter and I stand corrected—Grandpa Rob died after Simon got hit in the face and had his eye blown out.
But.
I still don’t feel that really changed anything when you see these panels.
Like look at Erza’s priorities.
Look at what’s at stake.
It’s not just Jellal they are freeing, but SECTORS of trapped slaves. 8 SECTORS.
That’s not an easy job.
It’s not one you can dilly dally.
Every second counts here.
Everything is at risk here.
Oh but what’s Simon’s concern here?
…
It’s like the only thing he heard in Erza’s whole speech is Jellal’s name.
No regard for the war around him. No regard for the tonnes and tonnes of people trapped and their freedom finally being in reach. Not the fact they could literally die if they stop fighting.
No it’s if Erza has a crush on the boy with a face tattoo.
This is so embarrassing.
But lack of perspective cost him didn’t it? Because look what happens straight after.
Fitting I guess.
Seriously Simon is such a sh-tty person and these panels just add to the argument.
I rest my case.
What is it about the night sky that you love the most? Also why is your name (or was your name) ‘InTheSkiesOfShangrila’? And what does your current name mean now?
Oh first ask 🥳 Q.1 I like the night cuz it's quiet. Pretty and like idk i see it a lot cuz i'm a night owl and all🦉Or like I was one before lmao.
And idk, it's like everything life isn't.
Q.2 I liked the name Shangrila. Idk where I heard it from tho. But it stuck since. And looking it up it was pretty and peeceful so i vibed with it. Also it's like my actual name so ✨
Q.3 'Shanomaly' is basically a mix of Shangrila or my IRL name + anomaly. Idk i just thought it was cute hehe 😜
Thanx for the ask tho 💜
