A reblog from Mussab's post: comments on Tumblr assignment
I tried to reblog Mussab's post multiple times but it didnt work so i'll just post it as a text.
OMG!!!!! I spent more than 30 mins reblogging this post, i clicked post but it never posted!!! So i took a second attempt!!! I tried to remember everything i wrote the first time and when i was done after another 30 mins, i wanted to copy everything i wrote so i wouldnt have to write all over again if smthn goes wrong, but instead of copying it, i pasted the last thing i copied!!!! So now i’m going for the third attempt!!!!
…
I very strongly agree with the points Mussab have made. This is because everything he pointed out i already had it on my mind. This project gave the students the oppurtunity to experience education in a whole new different way. It was definitely more fun and interesting than wasting pencil lead on a piece of paper and it was certainly easier as well. I personally loved this project. I most surely would prefer completing an assignment while sitting on my bed after a good, long, refreshing nap, watching my favorite TV show while sipping some cold, fresh juice, biting some crunchy, flavorful chunks of chips, and just completely ready to get some work done than coming in to class after a long, boring double period of algebra, sitting on an uncomfortable chair, probably next to the worst person in class, either freezing or melting because the AC is never on the right temperature, so tired, bored and fed up with life, thinking about jumping right through the window and landing right on the soft grass, just injuring your arm and probably getting suspended…. forever…. from all schools…. in the galaxy…. did i already say forever?….
I also totally agree that no other website could provide and maintain the proper atmosphere for an educational project like this as Tumblr. Tumblr could be used for a huge variety of different purposes and education is definitely one of them. I would also have to agree with the changes Mussab suggested that would improve and enhance the “Tumblr” experience. The repitition of assignment was somewhat annoying and uninteresting at some points. As a matter of fact, the assignment I’m doing right now is repeated. This is not the first time we were required to reblog a classmate’s post and comment on it or tell why we agree or disagree with it. Also, being able to post out- of- topic posts would certainly add more excitement to the project because I only open Tumblr to complete my assignments without looking at others’ because I know that all I will find are huge paragraphs and more and more text exactly like the one you are reading right now. In general, this project was very exciting and on another level. I really hope that this type of projects would not stop. I hope an improved, enhanced, and modified version of this project is being set up for the upcoming project because students will always prefer working on social media than any other website or medium.
