It's sick and twisted that daily antidepressants start working after one to two weeks of usage. Hey this will help with your motivation and pessimism but you have to motivate yourself to take it again and again and again. Be optimistic though, it will help.

It sure is something when men praise their mothers for raising them throughout hardships while implying that every woman should aspire to be like her. Do you really think she wouldn't have it any other way? Do you think that a badge of martyrdom is a worthy prize for surviving through patriarchal bullshit while raising a child? Wouldn't that be better if she didn't have to suffer? No you don't. You don't really have to think right? Your mama will do it for you. Like everything else she had to do without help.
