she looked quite mischievous, happy with herself. she was having a hard time keeping herself quiet because of all her JOY. spinel was such a fun playmate that it felt like she could play with her for HOURS & HOURS on end. she really thought she was winning.

pearl made sure to keep very quiet, even though her hiding place was no good. she giggled once or twice when spinel jumped, finding her quite cute. still, she was supposed to remain quiet because that was the game’s RULES. a smile couldn’t help but sneak up on her face, happy to play this game.

❝ okay ! ! ❞ pink pearl said, avoiding the other’s question. she then began to follow the other’s order, running off to hide somewhere. she ended up hiding behind one of the columns in the garden, giggling. she’d never played a game before but this was fun !

❝ oh uh . . hello there. ❞ pink pearl waved, remembering spinel. not THIS form, but, her younger self. she remembered when they played in the garden together, laughs to go around. they both loved pink so much, they were just LIKE pink, so it was obvious that they got along well. pink actually did enjoy spinel’s company quite a bit. ❝ im pink..pink’s pearl. you’re spinel..right ? ❞

She’d been leaning over a bush, hands pressed against her cheeks as the gem took a long whiff from the beautiful flowers.

No matter how many times Spinel stopped to enjoy her surroundings, her favorites would always be the wonderful flowers that bloomed so elegantly under the dark night sky.

As the faint noise of the warp sounded off Spinel jumped, stars shining in her eyes as the playful gem raced to the front of the garden.

It was a little later than their usual schedule but, who cares!? Pink Diamond was finally here!

“Pink! Pink!”

“Pink! You’- You’re not Pink.”

-- ❝ i’m pink’s pearl! she requested that i’d play with you! ❞ pink pearl giggled, very excited. she was excited for spinel to show her all the games she had in mind, because she didn’t have one. she didn’t really know WHAT a game was because the diamonds forbidden them for some reason. she offered the other pink gem a hand, wanting her to lead them. she wanted spinel to trust her like she trusted the other. she trusted to easily, it seems, which may have caused what happened in the future.

               ‘ They’re… nice. I’m not too fond of plants, actually. ‘   she have been, in fact, fond of plants before. A long, long time ago… but now all they did was to bring but bad memories and pain. Pink Diamond always liked plants herself… She was able to grow so much life…! Spinel had been so amazed by how comfortable Pink was surrounded by all sorts of life… it was beautiful to watch…!

               ‘ But!! You do look nice yourself, it’s good that you resemble a rose, fits you! ‘   the spinel added quickly, after realizing Pink Pearl could feel offended or bad by what was said.  This would be pretty bad.

pearl smiled gleefully at the other’s statement. if you told her that that statement could hurt her, she wouldn’t know WHY. of course, she didn’t know about pink diamond’s “shattering” & all that jazz, so it did make sense.
