I can't bare fics where Logan is some buff guy because I headcanon him to be sickly and that's why he's so chill.

Sometimes the sides will check up on him reading some book because he hasn't moved at all for hours and when one of them puts their hands on him, the guy just has a fever. He literally passed out like hours ago

Roman has to usually carry him to his room.

Patton has to prepare food, water, and medicine.

Virgil readies his books and puzzles next to him because the guy will literally crawl just to read something even in his state.

Janus usually is the one to stay by his side to keep an eye on him.

Remus.

Dude can't do exercises because it easily exhausts him to sickness when he over-exerts it. He keeps in mind his meals because when he misses one he feels horrible the rest of the day. The weather literally chooses how well he breathes for the day and he doesn't do well in cold weathers. Sneezed at him? He's sick by tomorrow.

And no one talks about it. Logan doesn't talk about it. The sides don't talk about it. They just made it part of their routine to make sure Logan doesn't get sick every week or month.

my all time favourite sanders sides moment is when in Learning New Things About Ourselves thomas gets anxious and patton whispers "huh i know that face! my child is returning" and virgil just rises up.

So my headcanon is Janus screaming "Enough!!!" In POF when Patton ties Thomas and his friends on the trolley problem to make an example was him completely shitting himself because Patton's about to kill all of them. He played it off after, but he was clutching his chest just a few seconds ago because he didn't expect Patton to try to kill all of them.

Logan gently kissing Patton's neck, only for Patton to start giggling because it tickles, and it only gives Logan a reason to keep going. He starts adding little strawberries here and there as Patton squirms.

rewatching the scenes just before lilypadton and goddd. very much understand why janus and roman are both pushing for answers for their own reasons, to confront the implications of what patton's been saying and to get a clear answer from him about his actual thoughts on it, but like goddd patton is so clearly doing really bad. signs were there that he was one awful moral quandary away from turning into a frog about it

like it's hard to capture tone/movement in screenshots but rewatching this in depth to caption it is actually hurting me (slash positive i love misery but auughgh). i understand why they don't do it here but like give him a second!!!!

Idk what's funnier the fact that Janus does actually beg (CLBG when he asks Roman to be a director) or he thinks Patton begs in that specific way which means he sees him like that lmfao.

I love my dragon au because Patton is the largest dragon for the simple fact to me he's the one carrying the eggs therefore he has to be the biggest. But also the thought of Patton being moody one day and his spouse/s (I'll be using LAMP) not knowing what the fuck to do because he's like 100 feet larger than them is hilarious.

Someone steals Patton's egg/s? Logan, Virgil and Roman are at their door begging them to bring it back because they don't want to know what happens next.

They can turn human of course (to simplify things a bit better the size difference would be hell to write). In human forms Patton is the shortest and that makes it even more funnier.

Superhero au where your powers specifically comes from the one thing you desire most.

Logan has been alive for hundreds of years as he desires stem to learn everything. As his life continues and the world's conditions become worse he decides to do the one thing he never desired: marrying and settling down.

After a decade of being married to Patton (with a kid or not kinda up to you) he starts to actually love him and wants to find a way to be able to age with him so they die together. (They're relationship in this au is like a secret third thing they're like aroace jesus)

But two superheroes suddenly show up one day to his house (Roman and Virgil) talking about deaths that follows Logan. Logan thinks someone has framed him and he'll be jailed for deaths he didn't even know is happening.

But they reveal they want to protect him because all the deaths have been people trying to attain Logan's immortality (because it's the most powerful kind they've ever seen).

Logan... Goes on a run.

Completely unhappy about this he tries to help the villains to take his immortality. While Roman and Virgil tail his mission.

Remus and Janus are shocked about this guy that barges into their lair one day saying his name; offering his support to them to steal his immortality.

Shenanigan ensues.

Patton PR team (family friendly censorship) so good no one has realized that part of SvS redux where he forces Thomas to pick between his friends or himself is only funny because we see it from how Thomas sees Patton (a giant frog apparently) but as someone who watched it religiously that was a horror movie part if you take away the 'family friendliness' of the scenario. Nothing in Sanders sides is more horrifying than that part to me.

Imagine if he had done that without the game aesthetic or the frog. We basically watched Patton force Thomas to confront what he was repressing by showing him a scenario where he will decide who lives or dies. He didn't even give Thomas the option to exit. Janus had to take Thomas out of the scenario so he wouldn't end up likely breaking down from the thought.

Tbh I just think any analysis that doesn't take into account the fact that, beside being just characters, the Sides are also externalized metaphors of cThomas' internal thoughts and feelings, is just really lacking

SvS was so significant to Janus' character development because this was the episode where he realized he can't win by antagonizing Patton. And that's exactly why he lost despite pandering and having Roman's support who he thought would have the most influence in the situation as someone who oversees Thomas' passion.

All Patton ships are close to me because they literally have no choice but to pander to him. Unfortunately, for something to succeed the human does need to have their heart in it😞

Something Janus has realized quicker than any of the others. Interestingly enough.

Logan has also kinda realized it but refuses to accept he has to navigate Patton and would prefer Patton to be the one following his lead. But that's not how the heart works. He has to accept that he has to follow Patton's lead instead.

Roman wants Patton's validation because they do work hand in hand, but unfortunately doesn't know how to work with him. He sees Patton as the side Thomas has to become to be good.

Virgil knows Patton's worth but doesn't understand him.

Remus sees Patton as some goody two shoes and nice guy. They lack interaction so any in-depth view Remus has of Patton I haven't noticed yet. But Remus does seem to be quite soft towards Patton thinking about it now. Even complimenting him for trying despite his "creative liberties" in DWIT and is shocked that Patton was one of the problems. He also doesn't hold it against Patton for not knowing him in the Christmas episode. Remus does seem to show softness towards Patton. He also seems to view Patton similarly as Roman does but...is shockingly, less mean to Patton.

Janus made the worse mistake in the first SvS that likely made him realize he has to follow Patton's lead to get what he wants. And it does work as we've seen in the recent episodes. Despite the others still on the edge about him, he has been given a seat because Patton trusts him now. Janus is the closest to understanding Patton (despite moceit not being my main ship... I understand why this one exploded into popularity. I come from when the fandom loved logicality second to prinxiety).
