HEADCANONS:

- Shea knows when to crack a joke and when to be stoic. Looking at her, you’d think she usually plays it the latter, but she finds people are easier to talk to and control when you come off as nicer and even a little funny. When she’s with Bon, things are definitely looser. Though she is the one who usually knows when to cut a bit out and take a situation seriously. 

- She loves being a criminal for hire as much as she can. It’s good money, it’s what she’s used to, and it’s something she’s really good at. There’s very little she won’t do for the right price. At the end of the day, it’s all work and it puts food on the table, and if she has to get her hands a little dirty to do it, then so be it. 

- She does her best to not let it show how much she’s grieving the loss of Scar. She does wonder though if all that grief is for him, or if it’s for all of the other things in her life that she’s lost and never had a chance to process. It’s not like she’s processing it much now, though. If she starts to fall too deep into that pit, she tosses back a drink, finds someone to fight in an alleyway, and forces herself to move past those feelings. 

- She isn’t stupid; she knew that her deal with Scar was going to come up bad if things hadn’t gone the way they did. She knew she was a pawn, but she had to ignore that. She had to have faith in the one person that seemed to have faith in her. Because if she didn’t, then everything she ever did would be a sham, everything she tried to build would’ve been for nothing, and she cannot accept that. 

- If Bon and Ed hadn’t also ended up in Evermore, Shea doesn’t know what she would’ve done. Knowing that her memories are fuzzy from before coming here, and thinking too hard about the what ifs and the potential to not remember those two idiots she loves so much… it leads her down a bad path, even just thinking about it. 

- She wants to be loved so badly, but every other time she’s allowed herself to be vulnerable in that way, she loses those people and it just hurts even worse. So she doesn’t let herself get bogged down with feelings. Everything she does is just for fun, and if she ever finds herself feeling a little too close to someone, she ghosts them.

- She’s thought about getting a regular job, but it sounds too boring and being a hired criminal definitely pays better. It’s also a lot more fun and if you don’t like someone you’re working with, you can punch them in the face. Most 9-5’s don’t let that slide.

He flinched; he couldn't help it. But, come on, when a gorgeous woman like that raises her hand that fast, with a look in her eye that you can't read? Sometimes you have to assume. When she took a step away, Phil felt himself deflate, happy he had taken the opportunity to kiss her because truly when would that present itself ever again but then she smirked and gave him one last look over her shoulder and he was following behind her like a puppy. No thoughts, only one purpose in life right now and that was following Shea wherever she led him. Once they had made it away from the crowd, the music somewhat faded as they moved further from the speakers, Phil felt his confidence return twofold, even if some of it was a bit misplaced. Pushing her back against the wall, Phil stepped in closer, hovering over her so most of her body was blocked from view, a hand coming to cup the side of her face. "You're right, I can." His voice was low and gravelly, not hesitating to kiss her again, much deeper this time, not worried if she'd slap him for it this time or not. It'd be worth it.

He’s cute. She smiles as he flinches. He’s a fun little thing. She hopes he continues to be fun. Shea hears him following behind, and makes sure to lead him to a much more private area. She doesn’t need anybody staring. As Shea turns to Phil, she’s surprised by his forwardness, once again, as he presses her up against the wall. Maybe she shouldn’t underestimate him. Shea continues to smirk at him, daring him. There’s a part of her that wants to flip this position; that wants him pressed up against the wall, but she’ll let him have this. He kisses her deeper, harder. Her hands go up around his neck, pulling him closer, returning the kiss without hesitation. Maybe she should go out more when she’s not looking for clients or doing work for them. This is fun.

She brings one hand down slowly from his neck, to his chest, gripping his shirt to bring him closer, kissing him harder, enjoying the feeling of his lips on hers far more than she expected. “You certainly can,” she muses, pulling back slightly, placing a much lighter kiss to his lips, looking up at him with those faux doe eyes. “I guess I could’ve gotten stuck under mistletoe with someone much worse.” Shea’s eyes trail over him as she hums appraisingly. “Hopefully you aren’t too disappointed,” she adds with another smirk, kissing him again, arching her back off the wall to press her chest against his as her hands grip his shoulders. She wonders how secluded this room actually is, but that thought is fleeting. It’s starting to matter to her less and less if someone were to walk in because she’s having too much fun with this—with him.

Phil was still riding out his high from earlier, already debating popping another gummy as he wandered around the house party, grinning at the stupid little snowmen randomly plopped about. Their faces were so funny. He was still chuckling when a figure passed by, pausing just long enough for someone else to cry out - "ooooohhh," a sound that Phil had made before in his life and knew, without looking, exactly what that meant. "It's mistletoe, isn't it?" he asked, giving the, undeniably gorgeous, woman a look. What luck. Stepping towards her, Phil gave her a curious look, probing the waters to see if she'd bristle and run away - it had happened before. "Looks like we don't have much of a choice here," he teased, motioning towards a few people nearby who were intently watching the two victims under the mistletoe. She did look like she was more than capable of taking his head off but that was a risk he was willing to take right now as he leaned in to press a very chaste kiss against her lips. Much more innocent than he wanted to be but there was a time and place ( shockingly a thought that occured to him ). Pulling away, he hovered, waiting for an inevitable slap or something. / @sheaziehl

Bon and Ed were often telling her she needed to have more fun. She was too serious now, and she does admit that she has lost sight of that more fun side she used to have. A houseparty was the perfect place for that. She got to relax and watch other people be stupid as she sipped on a drink. As she's walking through, she hears the childish 'ooohs' of people and she cracks a grin, excited to see what idiot found themselves in such an unfortunate place to have all eyes on them. Unfortunately, she was one of the idiots, it seemed.

Shea looks up at the tiny plant, then back to the man in front of her, eyebrows raised, practically daring him. She doesn't give off the most inviting presence, and she prides herself on that, and just from looking at him, Shea honestly didn't think he had the balls to make a move. Clearly, though, she was wrong. It's a light kiss--a politer one than she was expecting as soon as she realized he was going for it. As he pulls back, Shea hums, a smile creeping across her lips. That very intentional smile that was just a little too mischievous to make her next move predictable. It isn't sweet, it isn't scheming either. Just a perfect little blend that might make him squirm for a moment.

Her hand goes up to his face, lightly grabbing him for a moment. She does bring it up quickly, curious if he'll flinch--if he thinks she'll slap him. "Not bad," she hums again, eyes trailing over his face, down to his lips. "I'm sure you could do better, though." She smirks, stepping away from him, her hand dropping once she's an arms distance away. Shea shoots a glare at all the bystanders watching and gawking at the mistletoe's victims as she goes to walk away, giving him once last little glance, leaving it fully up to him if he wants to follow.

"You work here, right?" Shea asks the blonde, doing her best to look a little helpless, but she can only ever look so innocent. "I need help picking a dress. Trying to impress some clients, but I'm shit at knowing what to look for when it comes to anything a little more formal." She looks the woman over, a smile twitching at the edge of her lips. "And you definitely seem to know your way through a wardrobe," Shea's eyes meet the other's with that ever-present mischievous twinkle, "I wish I could pull of those clothes."

“So I’m totally not usually into gossip,” Shea says, lying through her teeth. But business had been slow, she needed to find some new targets--either to mess with or to try to sell herself to or to bother into hiring her for protection. “But you seem like you’ve got your fingers to the pulse when it comes to the goings on in town, and I’ve practically been living under a rock lately. So, spill. What is the tea?”

“Can or can’t? Nah, I’d never try and tell anyone what they can or can’t do.” If he thought they couldn’t, he’d just prove it. “More like, I figured you’d go somewhere else.” The side of his mouth curled into a familiar smirk as she spoke, nodding as it went pretty much how he thought it would. “See? But I should tell ya, this place ain’t too bad. Ramone isn’t that kind of guy.” He was one of the few people around here that Luis respected. And he didn’t go around throwing the word respect around too often. “You ever wanna get something done here, maybe I’d be persuaded to come with ya - make sure no one tries anything.”

“Sure that’s what you meant,” she keeps her grin, but her eyes are unamused. “Oh, don’t worry, I wasn’t talking about Ramone,” she gives him a look, raising her eyebrows. “Aw, how chivalrous of you. I wish all men would go out of their way to tell me I look out of place and then offer to be their for me,” Shea’s tone is flat. “You really know how to make someone feel comfortable and safe.”

One of Luis’s favorite past times was adding to his collection of ink and he was just wrapping up his second session for another piece on his shoulder when he spotted them. “You lost? Didn’t peg you as someone who’d come around here.”

Shea enters the shop, having only ever been here a few times. She has a few tattoos, and while she’d love to get more, most of her paychecks went to other things. She was here more for work this time. She was supposed to case the place, find someone known to hang out here, follow them and scare them. But they weren’t here yet, that she could see. Instead, someone else says something to her. Shea turns, putting on a grin. “And I didn’t peg you as someone who made assumptions about who can and can’t get tattoos,” Shea bats her eyelashes. “You know I’m no stranger to this, but the environment of this shop... I’ll stick to my neighbor who does them for a pack of cigarettes--a lot less... toxic masculinity in her apartment.”
