Okay I have stayed in my lane for the past several asks, minding my own business, but I can’t anymore.

 WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE.

I have been a part of the adventure from the start, I have read the fic before all of you and NOT ONCE did it cross my mind that Harry and Louis didn’t have penetrative sex during Paint Me In A Million Dreams. Why? Because unlike a bunch of you assholes, the smut is not what’s important to me when I read a 110k fic. If you care that much about who sticks it to who, I think you have a problem. I think you fetishize gay men and are trying to instrumentalize fic writers to enable your fetish. And that is just plain wrong. 

Anons, Shai is too nice to tell you but I am not. Go write your own damn fics. People like you are the reason why writers stop writing.

I’d like to ask all my writers friends to speak up about this because I think this is becoming a real issue in this fandom and I for one have had enough.

I’m here! And I’m so pissed off, tbh. This is just like the top/bottom bullshit. It’s a fucking novel length fic with plot and character development and it’s so much more than sex! There’s a reason I was worried about posting ‘It Had to Be You’ and that was because there was no graphic sex. I asked my beta if she thought it was ok to leave it out! 

Our fandom SUCKS for writer support. Mostly I see are writers supporting other writers. Comments and kudos are low across the board in this fandom. And then people have the NERVE to complain that there aren’t any good fics??? 

The fic was wonderful. Please don’t delete it.
