This is so soft and heartwarming
What if, in the belly of Capitol prisons, Peeta Mellark was visited by the ghost of Burdock Everdeen?
When “Prisoner Spare” wakes, he doesn’t try to clear the haze from his eyes anymore. A purplish black smoke fills his vision permanently now; it’s a comfortable constant, like pain. That’s what they call him these days. The nickname passes through sneering smiles, gifted to him with a joke about the heir that’s tucked away somewhere by rebels he knew nothing about (he’s convinced himself of this). Today, like always, Prisoner Spare is unnecessary, especially after the way he fucked up his last interview with Caesar Flickerman.
Or: Peeta Mellark - the Spare - waits for his torturers, longing for venom and death

I can’t believe this exists. Hooooly
I can finally unveil this personal project! My comic version of chapter one of The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, which I finally managed to get to shortly after SOTR came out. This was a unique project for me that I've been working on, on and off, for the past year or so. Lots and lots of fun, although I did mess up in some parts (typesetting :') ) and the limited color pallette was a unique challenge. Rest of the chapter under the cut! Hope you enjoy :)
I'll add it to the list of words I use to try to figure you out
The Reluctant Victor, inspired by The Reluctant Bride by Auguste Toulmouche - I just thought that this painting was SO perfect for Katniss and I had to draw it!
Great gowns, beautiful gowns… but for real
so after, when he whispers, “you love me. real or not real?” i tell him, “real.”

war girl.
This is so beautiful and magical and somehow still realistic and has so much feeling and I want to eat it. If I had the skills to do this, I would be insufferable.
