These two had a perfect fall day for their engagement shoot. I’m looking forward to their wedding in fall 2018!

The Historic Round Barn in Gettysburg, PA made a beautiful backdrop for Molly and Andy’s wedding. Twinkle lights softly illuminated the interior of the barn creating a romantic feel for the evening.
Becca and Chris brought Chase to be a part of their engagement photographs. He was so sweet and you could tell how much he loved to be included.

Brittany and Ryan had been dating for nine years when Ryan popped the question at The Pressroom. Their friends and family were eagerly waiting inside to celebrate. We returned to the scene of their engagement for their photos. These two could not stop laughing as they practiced feeling natural in front of the camera.

I love working with the Burns family! Momma, Karissa and I were roommates in college and I enjoy photographing her babies are her family grows.

Hello tumblr world,
To say it’s been a while since I’ve updated my blog would be a bit of an understatement. When deciding what to do with it I considered starting fresh and deleting my old entries, but I would have been erasing an important part of my history as a photographer. So instead I’ll play catch up on what I’ve been up to for the last three years.
The majority of my previous posts were written while I was living in Germany after college. In August 2013 I returned to the states, only to embark on a nineteen-day road trip with three of my girlfriends. This trip was amazing to say the least. We travelled across the country to Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Arizona and then down through Texas and Tennessee. I got to see parts of the country that I had never seen- huge mountains, rock formations and waterfalls. We spent all but four nights camping, often hearing and encountering animal life. At that point in my life I thought I would be moving across the country or back to Germany.
I decided that while I loved the West Coast, living there was not for me so I returned to my home of Lancaster, PA. Being near family and friends gave me the support I needed to grow and thrive as a photographer. I’ve spent the last few years figuring out my place in the Lancaster Art Community. I’ve displayed my drawings, paintings and photographs in galleries across Pennsylvania. I spent close to three years working at Isadore Gallery as the Assistant Gallery Manager. I also worked as a waitress where I met my now boyfriend, a local chef. We share a love of food and travel and I never get bored of photographing his latest dish. In addition to running my business I also currently work three days a week at a local preschool where I teach art and run a before and after school program for six to twelve year olds.
It took a while, but I think I’ve finally figured out where I belong. I absolutely love shooting weddings and capturing and memorializing the love of two people on their special day. My good friend, Sarah, is my second shooter and we have a blast working together. I also enjoy portrait work and doing commercial work for local businesses.
I promise to be a better blogger in the future and will try to post more frequently. Future entries will probably be briefer… but I did have three years to catch up on!
See you soon!
