Had a great day at Armthorpe Community Centre on Monday 14th Oct with My Network For Women and The Mac Group, helping to bring more understanding of, information and sources of support for Mental Health. Olga Geidane hosted a day full of talks featuring guest speakers helping us broaden our awareness on specific issues in Mental Health that we should be aware of, that could affect any of us, and perhaps we may not even know it. They also took part in a panel, answering questions giving us a chance to increase our knowledge of how to notice and be there for those with Mental Health problems. The breakout sessions after an amazing lunch, provided by stalls from the Doncaster Wool Market, gave people the chance to learn a few ways of helping theirself be and stay mentally healthy. All the stalls looked fab and the stallholders were amazing to talk to. Each one provided their own unique service or product that can aid people in the process of finding their own path to the elements of health and wellbeing that each one needs or wants. Massive thanks to all and hopefully we can keep the movement going and growing!!
