Academic Research - Psychology Survey
My housemate is doing a Masters in Counseling Psychology and needs help getting responses for their survey. It's mostly about satisfaction being single, or relationship satisfaction, and has a few questions about attachment style. It takes about 3-5 minutes to complete, and every response would be greatly appreciated!

BRAKES
I more and more see people using "breaks" instead of "brakes" for, you know, THE THINGS THAT MAKE YOU STOP, and it's driving me a little bit nuts.
Not knowing the difference between "breath" and "breathe" is one thing, but not knowing the difference between "break" and "brake" is quite another. Please get it right. Please?

it's a good thing when someone shoots up with a clean needle.
it's a good thing when someone carries Narcan, whether they use drugs themselves or not.
it's a good thing when someone switches from using laced drugs to clean drugs.
it's a good thing when someone starts using only one drug at a time.
it's a good thing when someone goes on medication assisted treatment like suboxone, methadone, or amphetamines.
it's a good thing when someone reduces their spending on substances, or the frequency of their drug use.
it's a good thing when someone gets regular tests for STIs.
it's a good thing when someone is using with friends instead of using alone.
people who use drugs don't have to be abstinent to take better care of ourselves. any positive change we make around our substance use should be encouraged and accepted, never stigmatized or dismissed!

IDK I think if cis men are being told that being fat will lower their testosterone and make them Insufficiently Masculine, and cis women are being told that being fat will raise their testosterone and make them Excessively Masculine, and fat trans people are being denied the right to medically transition if they're fat, and thin trans people are warned against HRT because it will make them fat (and this is said about both testosterone and estrogen HRT), and androgynous-presenting people are told that only thin people count as androgynous...

(but also unreachable and incapable of feelings)
Angelic (but also frigid, unhuman, cruel).
Lacking the Naughty Qualities of Gender (raunchiness, sexiness)
Retaining the Virtuous Qualities of Gender (nobility, beauty).
Genderless, sexless. lacking secondary sexual characteristics.
Lacking gender.
Nonbinary via Gender Extraction.
fat enbies:
Grotesque, ugly, squat, hairy. Too big or too small. Deformed.
Too earthy, animalistic, bestial to be human.
Composed of Too Much Gender.
"Unsettling"; a cause or source of unpleasant feelings.
Lacking the Virtuous Qualities of Gender (beauty, dignity, restraint).
Retaining the Naughty Qualities of Gender (sensuality, violence, physical excess).
Double Gender.
Too Much Gender.
Over-gendered.
Nonbinary via Gender Duplication or Superposition.
None of this is real. it's a reflexive reaction to the idea that trans and enby people are, somehow, Breaking The Rules.
