I wanna say Robin would be the kind of sibling who would let Ernesto punch him back if their roughhousing got too bad

I also think he was pretty reserved with violence or just force in the house. Something about him being home made him softer, less aggressive.

Maybe it was his moms worry and constant care for them

Maybe it was the absence of his father, someone strong and fair for him to emulate
