just my opinion but if the makeup industry is going to market towards young girls who haven’t even hit puberty yet and insist that they have hundreds of dollars worth of high end makeup then they cannot name their products things like ‘climax’ and ‘super orgasm’ or even make puns like ‘glow job’ or claim in bold letters that the mascara is ‘sex proof’ when these young girls have no idea what any of these terms mean and frankly they shouldn’t understand the meaning behind an eyeshadow called ‘daddy’s girl’ or a blush called deep throat it’s all part of the hyper-sexualization of young girls and it’s just getting worse and worse in this new age of instagram/youtube mua’s where girls as young as 8 years old are being pressured into having a beat face that makes them look my age

While I’m here, these are just a few things I want followers who aren’t in New Zealand and don’t know what it’s like here to know:

1. The prime minister, and now most media outlets here, HAVE labelled it as an act of terrorism from someone with extremist views. No one is saying he’s mentally ill, and no one is saying he’s a lone wolf.

2. This is most likely the biggest terror attack in New Zealand in nearly 30 years. (Edit: its officially the worst mass shooting in the entire history of the country. I’m sick). This isn’t just another mass shooting for us, and we’re all panicked for a reason.

3. With 49 confirmed dead now, it’s guaranteed we’ll at least know someone who knows someone who was in that mosque. It’s a small country.

4. While they’re not perfect, the police here aren’t as corrupt as those in the USA. They are here to help anyone who feels unsafe, and they will be taking measures to keep Muslims safe especially. Already they’re not letting white people into the mosque in my city.

Please, stay safe everyone, and please read reputable sources before reblogging every little thing you see about this.

Words cannot describe what I feel. My heart goes out to all of the families who have lost someone dear to them.

This is an awful and tragic attrocity which I didn’t think I would ever experience in my lifetime in New Zealand, especially in my own city. My heart breaks for everyone effected.

I have a kind of selfish suggestion for next month’s charity livestream. This is not meant to guilt Seán or anyone in the community to donate or do anything, I’m just a part of New Zealand in mourning. New Zealand always seemed so untouchable to me, and it breaks my heart to see such divide and pain in this beautiful country, and in the world as a whole.

@therealjacksepticeye would it be at all possible to do a charity live stream to support those affected by the Christchurch shooting? It is totally okay if not, please don’t feel obligated or guilted into it, only a suggestion! (Is my social anxiety showing?)

I want to thank the tumblr community

I’m a kiwi living in Ireland. The last couple days have been really emotional for me and being so far away from home in a time like this. just. It’s an indescribable feeling. back home I’m seeing so much support and love being shared around but i go for a walk in town here and it’s like nothing has happened. So to come onto tumblr and see all my mutuals and everyone else I follow posting and reblogging all this support even though most of you arent from nz. Well. It’s really helped.

I had a cousin, a second cousin, and two cousin in laws in the mosques on Friday. One cousin in law made it out. The other three didnt. I never had a chance to meet them, and now I never will. The Muslim community is really small in NZ and I have a large Muslim family, they’re all really shaken. But they appreciate the outpouring of love and support from people all over the world.
