IT STARTS WITH A GIRL. taken from her family, kept hidden away. and she grew, she got older. and as she got older she was taken again, traveled to australia when she was nineteen with her captor. the promise of a new adventure, she was told; little did she know the woman who’d taken the girl was trying to hide as far away as possible. but little did she know, the girl’s family sought to find her. to get her back. to never let go of the hope that she was out there, alive. AND THEY WERE RIGHT.

special agent claire bradley is assigned with the task to find rapunzel gothel, to bring her back to the carter family in los angeles. it’s a near impossible job, but claire bradley doesn’t stop until the job is done. and my some miracle, she finds rapunzel in australia.

rapunzel, somehow, convinces edyta to let her take a walk on her own, to get some fresh air. it’s a new country, a brand new place, certainly no one would recognize her face. she allows it, and it’s during her walk where claire sees her. the girl has the mother’s eyes, her father’s nose. and she stops her, starts with the story of a girl whose family misses her. AND SHE ASKS IF SHE REMEMBERS HER CHILDHOOD, IF THERE’S PICTURES IN HER HOME. and, finally, she shows her a photo of the girl’s true family. THE RESEMBLANCE IS THERE. it’s too obvious.

so they set out, to oceanic flight 815. from australia, to los angeles. it shouldn’t be a tricky flight. shouldn’t be a hassle. and for a while, everything’s going smoothly. UNTIL THE TURBULENCE. the shaking. the sounds the plane makes as it falls from the middle of the air......... EVERYTHING IS BLACK, and everything hurts.

BUT THEY ARE THERE, the girl and the agent. on the island with the other survivors. trying to survive, trying to get home.
