this is my dad. he came here to america for a better life when he was 16. he wasnt a "traditional" asian parent. he raised my sister and i on his own without really knowing much, people always had something to say about how he let me dress (boy clothes) and how he let me cut and dye my hair constantly. he always told me to be whatever i wanted which of course made me confused growing up. he always pushed me to be better even though i felt like ive failed him my whole life, my grades growing up were fucking awful Ds and Fs in math all the time. But now He's Dying, and i would rather let him call me a failure than be dead. he always let me express myself no matter what and im so thankful for that. i wouldnt be the person i am today without him. he wasnt perfect but he did taught me to work hard and push myself to be better. im 21 now and once i get a job, i will be able to get the money for his medical bills. but for now we're relying in gofundme. if you can't afford to donate, sharing this at least helps. thank you for reading.
