Stunning Anne Sofie Madsen "ghost" gear. T-shirt or dress, I'd take either.

Lush winter. The bag in the left photograph is stellar, but the entire Ulyana Sergeenko ensemble on the right makes me want to jump up and down with pure joy. It's like a dress made of teddy bear.

Wowza.
Just farting around with Instagram while waiting at Pearson for my flight to Denmark via Amsterdam. These are my beloved Fluevog BBCs. When I wear them, I imagine my feet as long skinny canoes. The patina gets better with every wear.

The ultimate style icon.
Since my early teens, Björk's work has had a constant hold of me. I've seen her perform in three countries (Germany, Switzerland, Canada) and have a shelf dedicated to housing my ever-growing collection of her music, DVDs, and books.
NPR is streaming her new album, Biophilia, in advance of its release. I'm almost afraid to listen! Don't want to spoil it with interruptions at work, don't want to lose this feeling of anticipation, don't want to have to go back to waiting 2-3 years for a new release.
So no NPR. Hard choice, but the right choice. Instead: purchase album, set aside time, use good speakers, find comfy pillows, build a nest, listen.
Glimpsed Sunny Fong (of Project Runway Canada fame) on the subway this morning carrying a large bolt of cream-coloured fabric, no doubt super-luxe, on my way to work. Reminded me to check out his current collection for VAWK. Not sure these shoes work with the pieces (and if it's real fur, I'm not into it), but the look is cute. Upon further rooting around the site, A/W 2010 looked better, but Fong is still a Toronto favourite.
Fashion world, you must think you're so clever. Why must you tempt me with images, patterns, and textiles from a spring season that seems so far away? Still loving this Guatemala/Central America/Navajo print trend. Makes me want to spend my days fabricating miles of Proenza Schouler-inspired rope necklaces in anticipation of the next time we see the sun.

After months of coveting Pendleton bags I saw in Frock on Roncesvalles, I couldn't stand it any longer. Today I caved and bought this Portland Collection scarf. No regrets -- it's gorgeous and I'm going to wear it for the next 100 years. Navajo goth forever.
Not loving the clothes in this Honestly ... WTF post, but a version of this beautiful fishtail braid needs to be on my head STAT.
Two words: Tilda Swinton.
Need I say more? My friend shared this entry about "gender-bending" magazine covers from Yahoo's Shine blog/site on her Facebook today. Other goodies include James Franco looking like he belongs in a Robert Palmer video and Gaga's latest experiment, "Joe." Love it all, especially Florence Welch's stunning red tailored jacket and pompadour, looking like a she's taken hints from Janelle Monáe.
My friend mangopeeler makes these spectacular Aaliyah kaleidoscope shirts (that's mine on the left) in memory of the fine artist who left the earth ten years ago. Recently, Toronto's own Drake caught Jeff's work via twitter and grabbed several for himself and his crew.
Get one while you can. Hot commodity, folks!
A hundred times YES.

so amazing…! seriously.
In Canada, we spell Labour Day with a 'u'. Please tell me this variation provides a special loophole for the whole "never wear white after" rule.
(I'm never tired of McQueenery.)
Another image from Jen Kao. Definitely trying this hairstyle this afternoon while pretending to clean out my closet.
Flare used shoes from Jen Kao's Fall 2011 collection in its fabulous "Nature of Prints" shoot (September 2011, pages 170-181). I'm mesmerized by the look. It's like spilled gasoline: pretty yet dizzying.
