Semi-realistic set of default underwear for your historical simmies. Is it 100% accurate? Absolutely not, but I tried my best within the realistic confines of the game to minimize issues. That's why I did not do a chemise/shift dress this time around. The set also includes a standalone version, but there's only one swatch per item. I might add more swatches in the future.
Notes:
Includes 8 pieces and covers all life stages.
Basegame compatible.
EA meshes edited by me.
WW compatible if you make sure your game reads these before the WW files. This is important because they will not show up if your game loads WW first.
Obviously conflicts with any other CAS default underwear, body replacements (TIT-E, Hiroki's Better Body etc) and such. You can mix and match pieces though.
I would like to see a variety of historical cc for shoes, um modern kids mix match for kids, infants toddlers down the road if you can if not I understand. Thanks for all you do in the sims community!
Unfortunately there's a pretty limited amount of dedicated historical footwear CC out there at the moment, but I've gathered up a bunch of options that could work for their respective century. I've only gone up to the 1700s as my Ultimate Decades Timeline series will soon be entering the 1800s, so I'll have plenty of shoe options for that century in the not-too-distant future. CC links and more information for each century under the cut.
An extended, pointed toe was the quintessential shape for 14th century shoes, although shorter toes were worn by working class people due to their practicality. Footwear, much like the clothes of the period, was simple and non-fussy.

The 15th century saw a more rounded toe come into fashion beginning in Italy. Shoe styles started to become more ornate and decorated to coincide with burgeoning clothing trends.

Tudor-era shoes were quite basic in comparison to the clothing of the time and some even looked surprisingly modern in silhouette. Luxury fabrics such as silk and velvet were popular materials for the footwear of those with wealth.

Come the 17th century heels really started to take off. In fact, all shoes and boots featured a heel that was at least an inch high, but more commonly two to three inches. Embellishments were all the rage - buckles, rosettes, pompoms and bows.

As men's shoes reduced in height, women's grew higher and narrower. Slippers or mules become popular to wear around the home or for casual events. These were heeled slip-on shoes with no upper covering the heel.

Since my Henford Hiders mod seems to be pretty popular, and the process for hiding world objects that way is pretty simple, here’s a quick tutorial on how to do it in Sims 4 Studio. I figured out how to do this from looking at Plasticbox’s Empty Props mod, so all credit there.
This process should work for the vast majority of debug objects, so long as they are deco and not interactive. And note that it will not replace any of the VFX from the object (like glow of lights or sounds). But if you want to completely zap a non-interactable debug/world deco object from appearing anywhere in your game, this is the easiest way to do it. If you’re familiar with the process for creating default replacements or overrides of an object, this is basically that.
Things you will need:
Sims 4 Studio (made an install video here last year)
The Sims 4, I guess
Step 1: In Sims 4 Studio, start the Object Override process
Make sure “Override” is selected, and then click the Object button. This is important; this selection retains the Type Group and Instance (TGI) information for the game object and allows you to default replace or override it with your file.
Step 2: Select a world item to hide
Use the filters to narrow down to the item you want. Make sure “Show Debug Items” is checked. Some world items have non-debug duplicates that you may not want to replace; this way those won’t show up. Once you’ve clicked on your selected object, click next.
Step 3: Name and save the package
Step 4: Delete everything but the Object Definition file
Switch to the Warehouse tab. Locate the Object Definition file (sorting by Type can help here). Delete everything except that file. This is the only file we need to change.
Step 5: Edit the Footprint
Find the footprint inside of the “Data” tab, and click “Edit Items”.
From here, change the TGI to 0 for all fields, and click save. This will close the window.
Step 6: Do the same thing for Model
Remember to save when you are done editing the model!
Step 7: Save the file and test
Click the save button in the bottom right hand corner.
Back up your Electronic Arts folder if you haven’t done that in a while.
Create a fresh save (preferably in an un-modded game), enable mods in the game settings, and test your mod file. Depending on where you saved the file initially, you may have to move it to your Mods folder.
The item you replaced should no longer be present in the world.
Note: a very similar process can be used for interactive world objects, but you have to delete the tuning information, as well. I think there is also usually slot and rig data associated with interactive objects, too, that would also need to be set to 0. I don’t want to make an additional tutorial for that, but that should be enough to get you on the right track should you want to try that.
sorry this took so long but their download links are under the cut! all of the cc are included, they're linked in this post too if anyone want to pick them separately :>
p.s. the pictures here are edited a little (sorryyy). check the details to see how they actually look in game
383 packages of plants in total. Included my previous version with flowers and grass (177).
What's new? Retextures of hedges, bushes, shrubs, more flowers, ferns, mushrooms some stumps and logs from new worlds, plant for Woohoo (or toilet plant), and pretty log for collect frogs etc.
Album with screenshots of every world.
❗ Installation ❗
if you had my previous version with flowers and grass replacement before, just delete old files or folder [Moriel] Flowers and grass replacement;
download file and unzip it in your Mods folder;
don't mix overrides with other CC and don't hide it in other subfolders. Just leave them in folder ![Moriel] Plants replacement in your Mods foder.
my plants will conflict with other plants except trees overrides.
Tyrael: I don't like these ruins. I feel strong magical vibrations, characteristic of places of Power. It is not for nothing that to this day not a single adventurer has been able to unravel the secrets of this place.
Vianora: So we have a chance to be the first to unravel the mystery of this place.
Dorian: The main thing is not to forget about caution. The ruins are similar to the elven ones, but they are very ancient. Perhaps they are thousands of years old.
Klaus: Don't worry. The ruins are entangled in many rumors and tales, which only increase and embellish over the years. People love to embellish. Believe me, as a bard of the College of Knowledge, I know for sure.
Tyrael: In every legend there is a grain of truth, the truth, which should be read between the lines. In the history department at the academy, we often had to deal with such riddles.
Balasar: A familiar feeling. Are you sure that there was no temple here at one time? Hmm. Every scale on my body seems to feel the presence of the other side. The fog is clearly unnatural. There was no sign of bad weather when we walked here. But now it's getting colder. And those weird-colored plants. It is curious what kind of power dominates the local ruins.
Vianora: The fog is everywhere. The further we go, the thicker the fog becomes. What is it? You heard? Some strange sound, similar either to a creak, or to a painful groan. Suddenly the treasures are guarded by zombies? Or ghouls? Or… who else is found in such places?
Dorian: Birds. But there are no signs of their life here. No animals at all. Stay close and watch your step. Don't split up.
Dorian: Klaus, keep up. It's easy to get lost in this thick fog. Even darkvision won't help us.
Balasar: At least you have it. It would be nice if we could conjure our magical light sources. A little more and I won't see my own tail.
Vianora: I can hold your tail so you don't get lost, he-he.
Balasar: I'm starting to think you're flirting with me.
Klaus: Hey, where did everyone go? It was worth turning away for a minute, as their trail caught cold. Hey! Balasar! Where are you?
Klaus: Damn it. Wherever I go, everything around looks the same. Does fornication lead me? Although I'm still a fornicator. But I prefer places that are more comfortable, with a large bed … And warm girlish breasts. And there are no girls, no animals.
