I've been obsessed with him for past two months
"When we met, our lives were rather different, and being here this evening… well, it reminds me how much has changed."
Here's stuff from the 16x9 recording based on what I can remember (trying to go in vaguely chronological order. Post from before the episode released here)
I genuinely thought the banter and most of Lucy and Susan's stories would get cut. Especially Susan's because immediately after she told her story the gallery told her (via Greg) to sum up the prize in one sentence. She opened saying something to Greg that Greg said felt a bit aunty-ish and Susan was all "I'll be your aunty~" This thread came up again a few times throughout the episode with Greg one time being called Uncle Greg (sorry). The behind the barracks bit Julian mentioned kept coming up too.
Lucy's full story was this: Her mum's neighbour got a monkey from a sailor, the monkey bit their nose off so she wasn't allowed pets. Lucy got a hamster as a pet but the hamster got flung across the room and died during the x files one time (her mum got jump scared by the hamster? Not sure). This means the mice in the pantry got treated like pets. This included her mum shooing them out of the back door saying "Go out and get some sun" on occasion.
There's a clip of Greg saying "mouse dung" over and over (presumably for the bleeped version)
At one point Julian said "I don't know. What do heterosexuals talk about? Petrol prices?" and Greg said something along the lines of "What does it say about me that I drive a hybrid"
At one point Greg says of the autocue that "Some of this stuff is written to encourage perverts". (And I either kept a very straight face after he said that or involuntarily made some kind of noise).
At one point fanfic was brought up again (they keep doing it why do they keep doing it) and alex was muttering to himself that alot of the fics portray him in the dominant role. Absolutely no one was buying it.
There was so much stuff during the present task you won't even believe it... So. During the set up Greg and Alex were off to the side of the stage while the presents were being put out. I can't remember what brought this on but Greg said something like "I've been doing research on the internet and I think I'd be considered a bear in the gay community." He seemed quite pleased by it. Once it was all set up, the silhouette of Lucy's present looked like a big hairy tit and that was pretty funny. Greg and Alex moved to their start position and the contestants started joking that they could be fucking behind there. After a few seconds Alex announced "Finished!" and Greg called for a cleanup crew.
The task itself was cut sooooo thin in the edit. There was the whole thing of Alex helping Greg into the shorts and then helping Greg out of the shorts because he was getting sweaty. Like kneeling on the floor pulling them up. I was looking forward to seeing that again... Greg kept saying how much he liked them and that they were a little tight (medium sized). Lucy had a whole story about Greg being a homeless man in Cardiff living under a bridge, luring people in with crisps... When it came to scoring he kept saying how he couldn't mark the rubber too highly even though he really enjoyed it. The weird coincidence with the socks is that both times rubber has shown up in the series, Greg has been wearing the UFO socks.
During one of the breaks Sue and Greg started singing/humming popcorn and that was really cute.
My basket showed up in one shot! That got cut... Maybe maaaybe it can be seen in the shed but I'm not even sure. Here it is under a whole load of stuff circa about a year ago.
And that's everything I remember. I'm the one in the front row with the blue hair!
So much love this series.
I think I might be more excited about this than anything that's happened on Taskmaster before.

WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS 4.05 || 4.07
i think the reason that so far ourgoodshadows has just felt so much nicer than superwholock was is because:
there is NO queerbaiting! all the shows are queer! and proud! not trying to hide it away or ignore the subtext that they didnt mean to create but now dont know what to do with
no worrying about them pulling a “kill your gays” troupe here! each show has multiple main couples being explicitly queer
none of the creators/writers are homophobic or transphobic, all are allies and have been so publicly for a long time, and some are even queer themselves i believe (people are welcome to fact check on that)
queer actors!!!!! actors supporting ships of their characters!!!! actors enjoying fan creations (be it fanart or fanfic)!!!
the queer romance elements of the show are integral and On Purpose and i love it so much that now we are not only not hiding queer love but centering our plots around it and that we’re so successful in doing so
the queer romance elements are also really deep and meaningful in how they are portrayed without also pretending like queer relationships are perfect and dont have problems (its my firm belief that portraying any type of person as “perfect” is just as harmful as portraying them as a stereotype, bad characters beget bad character)
In 6th season I don’t want much I just want Colin to say “hey Laszlo guess what” and Laszlo just bursting into tears
