Other cc by @simverses @simstrouble @ice-creamforbreakfast @shandir @laeska @zurkdesign @pralinesims @historicalsimslife and @zx-ta. Poses by @helgatisha and @simmerberlin.
Special thanks to @misschipsa for the kids' sword training animation. It was sorely needed.
trying new CC for the new expansion ♡ this incredibly beautiful hairstyle is by @twisted-cat and this edited version of the dress from the expansion is by @scandisim, I completely fell in love with it 👑
I love the CAS items for the new pack, especially this dress. But it was a bit scandalous for my UDC gameplay, so I decided to add some sleeves, drop the skirt to floor length and poof it out a bit. Now it's much more appropriate and no ladies of the ton will be scandalized by the appearance of wrists.
Details:
Two versions - one with the EA colors, and one with the brown corset and then 30 different colors for the dress.
MadMythicalMonster's Medieval Save File V3 is here!
In this version, I've added four new worlds for your sims to explore. Ravenwood (inspired by Slavic worlds), Chestnut Ridge (inspired by the Byzantine Empire), Gibbi Point (inspired by medieval Greece as a part of the Byzantine Empire), and Moonwood Mill (a small village deep in the woods between Ravenwood and Windenburg).
(I unfortunately don't have any cool map overrides this time - if anyone knows of any with some medieval flare for these worlds, please let me know!)
As always, this version of the save file includes all previous worlds (Oasis Springs/Crusader States and Willow Creek (+Magnolia Promenade and Granite Falls)/medieval France). If you are downloading this save for the first time, make sure you grab the CC for EVERY version of the save file, as the new version does not include things already llisted in V1 & V2 (links for everything below).
This version of the save file brings a powerful empire, a world caught between the past and modernity, and a mystical, isolated town. There is intruige, political conflict, and plenty of opportunities for your sims to make a name for themselves. Read more and find download links beneath the cut!
This version of the save file introduces the Chestnut Ridge Empire and several worlds in its sphere of influence. When your save begins, Emperor Manuel Bryennios has just been poisoned, leaving his young son the sole heir to the empire. His wife Empress Eirene is now the head of their son's regency council - but could she be a suspect in her own husband's murder?
Other suspects include Eirene's father, who is now the most powerful man in the empire, Manuel's spirited sister Theodora, Eirene's lover (the captain of the guard, a mysterious man from distant lands), and powerful lord Nikephoros Notaras. Plus there's the rebellion in Gibbi Point - are the Dalessenos family simply taking advantage of the situation, or did they have a hand in the emperor's death?
Chestnut Ridge and Gibbi Point include four empty lots for your sims to move into (one large farm, one medium-sized farm, and two residential rentals), multiple parks and churches, a sports arena, taverns, and a market centre.
Meanwhile in Ravenwood, sims are caught between the past and present. Some sims have embraced modernity and the church the Chestnut Ridge Empire introduced a century ago, but others cling stubbornly to tradition. This has divided the land - neighbours, friends, and even the nobility are split between the old world and the new.
Ravenwood includes five open lots for your sims to move into (three residential rentals including a caravan in a traveler's camp, a farm, and a fisherman's cottage), a church, two taverns, and a seasonally changing marketplace.
Finally, Moonwood Mill is a tiny village deep in the forest - or what passes for one when you're so far from society. Their isolation has born a deep connection with nature - from embracing their beastly instincts to harnessing the magic of the woods.
Moonwood Mill includes a park, a vacation rental war camp, and a town centre with a tavern. I have filled out the two werewolf packs with appropriate medieval werewolves and added a witch deep in the woods for your sims to seek out for magical assistance.

General Mod Warning: Please make sure all mods you install are up-to-date for your current game version. CC (both Build/Buy and CAS) should generally be ok, but check everything listed on the Mod page of the CC spreadsheet please.
Note about CC/Mods: If you have already used V2 of my save, you only need to download the V3 files. If you have not used V2, please make sure you download the custom content/mods folders from V1 AND V2. These can be found HERE (V1) and HERE (V2)
NOTE: This save file is made using Simverse's/Ingeli's Blowtorch. This is not required but will remove all of the modern things from your world (and make sure my custom placed objects aren't overlapping anything).
Download Links for V3:
Find the CC folder, save flle, and CC spreadsheet for V3 with full credits HERE (Google Drive).
Alternatively, you can find the save file and CC spreadsheet only HERE (SFS).
As always, thank you so, so much to the amazing CC creators whose work makes this all possible. Credits are included in the spreadsheet.
Let me know if you experience any issues.
Up next: stay tuned for my upcoming medieval legacy challenge, which takes the difficulty of the Ultimate Decades Challenge but lets you stay medieval forever!
Hey darling! I have been giving myself the biggest headache all week trying to find the one spot on my main menu that I am working on where the green color in the menu and store buttons are. How did you override that?! You are a genius! I was able to figure out everything else except that stupid color and the sims logo in the top left. I want a menu that showcases my images but those colors are horrid! Any tips for an old school hippy sims player? lol. Much love --Lumi
It’s honestly a super annoying multi step process that is more complicated than it should be. I’m not at my computer so I can’t explain it step by step but you basically want to disable color transform on all applicable frames of sprite 215 (I think that’s the correct number, it is seared into my brain).
I believe this item can solve a common problem faced by many builders — a problem I personally struggled with as well.
In practice, it works much like a power strip: simple, flexible, and reliable — and thankfully, without introducing any electrical safety concerns to the Sim world.
🚛includes 1 package files ( Base game compatible ) :

A mod to change the order of the worlds in the game and push historical/UDC appropriate worlds to the front. I got sick of not finding Henford among the million worlds we have now for the thousandth time.
