We at S.H.I.E.L.D’s Academy of Operations, Science and Technology, and Communications welcome you. So far, there have only been three named divisions, with each division situated in a separate location on campus, and there is an intense but harmless rivalry between the divisions.

Week 4: Multiple prompts week!

The Marvel Supers Prompt. Which superhero/supervillan does your character most identify with and why?

My Prized Possession Prompt. Write about a prized possession from your character’s childhood such as a blanket or a plush toy. 

The Beginning and End prompt. Have your Character tell a story or a make a starter beginning with ‘They told me seeing grasshopper before SHIELDS Midterm would bring good luck’ and end your story or starter conversation with ‘They barley saved me from doing 10-20 in Hydra prison! Stupid rabbit.’

OTP?BroTP? Plain Old Love Prompt. Who is the one person your character loves the most? Do make sure to justify your choice.

Living Spaces Prompts. SHIELD is allowing students to personalize their rooms. We want to see and hear all about the changes your character is making. Don’t forget your roommate, do only your side... Or forget them. How you post is completely up to you, use heavy images or write description.

Theme Songs Prompt. Pick a song that represents your character or their favorite song (Or both) then post it! You can post lyrics, justification with it or just the song. Then as an additions post a starter of your character ROCKING out to the song. 

Anonymous Love Letter Prompt. Drop a little love note in your crush’s ask. Make sure to make it anonymous unless you want to be known!

Keegan Micah Logan | 16 | Sophomore | Operations | TAKEN

Background & Personality:

Keegan is the only child of the one and only Wolverine. And anyone who knows the both of them will immediately say ‘like father, like daughter’. Keegan is a force to be reckoned with. With her personality and abilities, it’s hard to keep Keegan still and out of trouble.

Growing up at the Institute, Keegan wanted for absolutely nothing. She had a huge adoptive family but also enjoyed the benefits of being an only child. She was the Princess of the Institute and had no problems taking that title. She enjoyed learning new things from a young age, developing a strong sense of curiosity. Everyone found that she was fast learner and dedicated. Even when some of the actual students had retired for the day, she could be found training. Though she could also often be found playing pranks and sneaking around, trying to find any part of the mansion she hadn’t discovered yet.

Keegan is a complete Daddy’s Girl through and through. She loves spending any time she can with her father. The two found an equal love in mechanics, often bonding over rebuilding a motorcycle or car. For her 16th birthday, he gave her the motorcycle they had rebuilt together. It’s one of her most treasured possessions and she’s very protective of it. Wolverine, in turn, is very protective of her. Having been enamored with his daughter the moment she had appeared on the Institute doorstep, he loves his daughter very much.

Keegan’s ability is the ability to control water and enhanced fighting skills. She can freeze water, control water, manipulate it. However, she cannot create water on her own. Her enhanced fighting skills include speed, agility, flexibility and she heals faster than most, though not exactly like her father. Keegan first found out about her abilities when she was six years old and she was playing with other students in the Institute pool.

Keegan’s a wild child or free spirit, as she likes to call it. She’s adventurous, hating to sit still and be bored. However, she’s a prankster and enjoys causing minor trouble. She’s spontaneous and reckless.  Keegan never has any problem with schoolwork except that she often finds it boring.

MISSION SCHEDULE & REGULATIONS:

-These are not optional! Following S.H.I.E.L.D regulations is an important part of becoming a field agent.

All missions unless stated otherwise must be completed within the stated time frame.

All mission must be completed within 7 miles of the Academy.

All missions will be place in your S.H.I.E.L.D file and will follow you when becoming an agent.

All mission current weather: 72°F (22°C), Wind NW at 4 mph (6 km/h), 59% Humidity

Mission Statement: 3 or more paragraphs explained an assassination or undercover mission pertaining to your field of study/work.The undercover mission can be completed alone or with others (it could be continuous also. Meaning more than one post) but the assassination is strictly solo (One post only).

Things that need to happen (OOC):

Be creative. From start to finish is completely on you.

Missions are optional. You can choose not to participate at all.

Please remain in character.

Please be realistic.

Please para everything in detail, including group or team mission.

There is NO mandatory word count for this mission.

Eliane Adams|17| Junior | Communications| OPEN

“Sorry I’m late…I didn’t want to come.”

Background:

Eliane and her twin brother are both legacies. Their parents both worked for SHIELD and their aunt works at the school. When they were six years old their parents died on a mission and their aunt was the one to take them in. They both took it hard of course but Eliane missed her parents terribly and didn’t adjust well to a life without them. She leaned heavily on her brother for support and she still does years later.  They lived at the Academy and became with other younger kids that lived there. Eliane is a hacker and is excellent at computers. She had been told multiple times that she should be in sci-tech but she never transferred over. She didn’t want to leave her brother.

Personality:

Eliane is far more calm and much more mature than her twin brother. She is tamer and not as outgoing as he is. She likes to be off by herself with a good book and perhaps a few friends. She doesn’t like being around a lot of crowds and often has to excuse herself so she can find some peace and quiet. She is quite intelligent but doesn’t talk much in a lot of her classes. She leans on her brother a lot for emotional support and is often found around him.

James Dmitri Rogers | 18 | Senior | Operations Student | OPEN

“Blood is thicker then water.”

Background: 

Born on April 15th 2015 to Natasha Romanoff and Steve Rogers. James Rogers was a bit of a surprise. A good surprise both of his parents told him, but a surprise none the less. They were never together, his parents, but they cared deeply for each other and when his mother found out that she was pregnant after a one night stand the former SHIELD agent quickly went into hiding. Protecting her son from the threats and danger her world carried before he was even born. Natasha wanted to do whatever it took to keep her child safe and she felt keeping him from Steve, from the outside world, was the best option. Despite that Tony Stark was the only one she told and received aid from, becoming like a father to younger James. It wasn’t until four years after his birth did Natasha show up on Steve (and his new wife Sharon) doorstep with the red head toddler in her arms.

At first he spent most of his time between his parents homes and the Avengers Tower. Traveling when his mother had to go somewhere, a mission she felt was safe enough for him to join, but she started to leave him with Steve and his other siblings more frequently until she was the parent he was visiting and not living with anymore. James understood her reasoning, wanting to keep him safe from her enemies, and he doesn’t blame her in the slightest for her actions. He loves her too much to do that.

Growing up with his half-siblings and his father and step-mother was nice. Sharon was kind and he got to be a big brother to plenty of younger siblings. He enjoyed being with his father the most though. He liked listening to stories of the ‘good old days’ and learning some of his dad’s fighting techniques. But those came less and less and the war outside their home grew worse and worse and soon they were in hiding. He wasn’t able to see his mother or his other siblings anymore and it hurt. But he trusted his father’s judgement. When Coulson came to their place asking for their return James was unsure but he jumped at the chance of seeing his mother again.

Personality: 

James, much like his father,is a natural born leader. He always wants to do whatever he can to help other and to make sure that his family is okay. He has a big heart and just wants the best for the people he cares for. Being the son of two super soldiers James has abnormal strength and resilience to things. He has a bit of a temper at times but tries his best to keep it under control. James is impulsive, especially if someone he cares about is in trouble, and would do whatever it took to fix something that was wronged. He can be assertive but not overly so with a practical efficiency and a down to earth approach. He tries his best to to fit in,to make both his parents proud of him.

Background: 

Born on June 14th 2017, Pym’s parents were compromised and killed when he was only three years old. They had managed to alert SHIELD before it happened and their fellow Agents came and saved their son. He was brought back to SHIELD and was raised with other children that were left parentless during the war.

SHIELD is all Pym knows and understands. He would do anything for his SHIELD family, especially Azarai,and he is a great help to the SHIELD team. Since he is still under SHIELD care and he is still a minor he doesn’t have a choice in going to SHIELD Academy, though he doesn’t mind it at all. He would go anywhere Azari goes.

Personality:  

Pym is chatty, thoughtful and versatile and rather intelligent. He is creative and can be very critical of his own work, wanting nothing but perfection most of the times  He is a sociable free spirit and is good at understanding people’s needs and wants, which makes him a good listener.  Pym is  quick witted, resourceful and adventurous and takes new task with stride. He’s a bit of a goofball and one of his favorite things to do is play pranks with and on the other kids.

No, you are not required to watch the show as this is an AU. We welcome anyone interested in joining regardless of if they have seen Agents of SHIELD or not. We may mention characters from the show, such as Director Coulson, but they are not the sole focus of this group, the Academy is.
