‧₊˚ ┊ As a kid, Ruggie's granny had him up and early on every Sunday morning helping the house from top to bottom while blasting music and making a good time out of it, so he's used to handing more domestic tasks like that (my parents used to to this every weekend when I was growing up lol)

‧₊˚ ┊ I like to think that he finds it kinda therapeutic to just turn on some music and lose himslef in whatever task he's tackling like, he just gets to shut his brain off and chill (no thoughts, head empty lol)

‧₊˚ ┊ He comes from a pretty close knit community, so I think he'd like a small family

‧₊˚ ┊ I think he'd like a lot of kids, but he doesn't want to have a bunch and not be able to provide for and love all of them equally, so he'd probably settle for two or three little ones

‧₊˚ ┊ You guys literally go to school with princes and Ruggie is just some guy, so he gets a bit in his head about it sometimes

‧₊˚ ┊ Like, you could have anybody, and you chose him: broke nobody from the slums of Sunset Savanna

‧₊˚ ┊ He often can't believe that you truly love him despite his low social/economic status, so you're gonna have to give him a bunch of love and affection to convince him otherwise

‧₊˚ ┊ Ruggie has a hard time opening up and being vulnerable because of how he grew up (I think he has the mindset that he needs to bury his feelings, stay strong and not show any weakness, so you're gonna have to coax him out of that toxic way of thinking)

‧₊˚ ┊ He's and overall pretty chill guy, so like I said, he didn't get jealous, just insecure about himself (you gotta get it through his think skull that you love him for who he is not because of his social/economic standing)

‧₊˚ ┊ Ruggie is a pretty independent/self sufficient guy (at least how I characterize him in my head) so I don't think he ever felt lost without you, but he definitely feels like his life is better with you in it

‧₊˚ ┊ He was definitely lacking in certain areas like emotional vulnerability and self worth before you came around, so he's learned a lot and become more whole because of that

‧₊˚ ┊ Like, it's not because of your relationship that he's whole, but it's the lessons you've taught him that make him feel complete

‧₊˚ ┊ He's a prince, so he's used to stuff like cooking and cleaning being handled for him

‧₊˚ ┊ He will do some basic cleaning and organizing, but that's about it (he'll step it up if you tell him to lock in tho)

‧₊˚ ┊ Leona isn't a bad cook per se, but he's not gonna whip up anything amazing if you leave him in the kitchen

‧₊˚ ┊ In terms of kids, I think Leona would be mixed on having any given his own childhood

‧₊˚ ┊ On one hand, he wants to have a few kids that he can love and dote on to make up for his upbringing (Leona would absolutely spoil his kids and I will die on this hill), but on the other, he doesn't want any of his potential children to feel like he loves them any less than their siblings

‧₊˚ ┊ I think one kid would be good and in a few years if he feels ready and comfortable then maybe he'll ask for one — or two — more

‧₊˚ ┊ Leona has gotta be one of the best huggers in the twst cast and that's not my bias towards him talking (it definitely it lol)

‧₊˚ ┊ If Leona is hugging you, then that means he cares for you deeply, so he's gonna hold you tight and let his guard down with you and be vulnerable for like, the first time in his life

‧₊˚ ┊ Ok so, I'll try to explain this the best I can (please bare with me) — Leona has a very specific way of hugging: one hand around your waist/hips with the other splayed between your shoulder blades or tangled in your hair

‧₊˚ ┊ He never fails to bury his face in your hair (he always takes a big unashamed whiff of your scent too lol) and if he's feeling really clingy, then he'll warp his tail around your leg/thigh

‧₊˚ ┊ I'd describe his hugs as firm and grounding, like every hug he gives is the type that you would get when you come home to your spouse after a long, draining day at work (I hope that makes sense lol)

‧₊˚ ┊ I suppose he's jealous, but I think territorial might be a better word to describe it

‧₊˚ ┊ I think he's another one that's insecure which from the outside looking in seems utterly ridiculous — he's literally a hot, mega rich prince — but Leona is used to being second, so he struggles with being your number one (this one is in desperate need of some therapy)

‧₊˚ ┊ It's not like he doesn't trust you — ne does comepley — he's just scared that someone else will come along and knock him out of his number one spot

‧₊˚ ┊ He can be a bit possessive — not in a toxic or controlling way tho — so expect for him to scent you and leave a few visible bite marks/hickeys on you to show everyone who's your number one guy

‧₊˚ ┊ Please please please tell him that you love him and help him work on his self esteem issues (give your lion plenty of praise and affection and he'll really start believing that he's really, truly your number one)

‧₊˚ ┊ Leona isn't used to be chosen, so when you come along and pick him first it heals something in him (therapy would do this man wonders)

‧₊˚ ┊ You make him feel loved and wanted in a way he'd since given up on before you walked into his life

‧₊˚ ┊ He's not a disaster in the kitchen, but many of the gadgets in there are far beyond his technological capabilities, so you probably want to keep him out of there unless you want an explosion (he's definitely the type to accidentally put metal in a microwave and end up starting a fire lol)

‧₊˚ ┊ Now, he will clean, but he'll use his magic to get it done (he's just flexing lol)

‧₊˚ ┊ Sometimes this results in a spotless home, but other times it ends up like Fantasia with all the brooms/mops revolting and starting a coup to overthrow malleus lol (it's happened far too many times but Mal has yet to learn his lesson smh)

‧₊˚ ┊ Now, in terms of children, Malleus wants a whole gaggle of children

‧₊˚ ┊ He grew up a lonely and doesn't want to just have one kid to go through the same loneliness he experienced as a child

‧₊˚ ┊ Malleus wants as many kids as you're willing to give him, but ideally he wants at least three (he'd probably repopulate the entire species of dragon fae if you let him tbh)

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

‧₊˚ ┊ Ughhhh touchstarved Mal-Mal hugs you like he's trying to merge your heart, souls, and bodies into one being (he wants to live inside your skin lol /j)

‧₊˚ ┊ I know I keep saying this, but Malleus grew up pretty lonely, so he's a touch starved mess that craves your love and affection like it's air (it's literally a necessity for him to get through his day lol)

‧₊˚ ┊ He has to be mindful of he strength bc he might accidentally end up crushing your ribs if he squeezes you too tight (he got really close to puncturing your lungs one time when he got hit with some really intense cuteness aggression)

‧₊˚ ┊ Malleus loves skin to skin contact, so — if you're comfortable with it — then he'll often slip a hand under your shirt and run his palm up and down your back with the other tangled in your hair (he finds the repetition soothing)

‧₊˚ ┊ He's another one that likes to nuzzle against your neck (again, as a means scenting you while simultaneously drowning in your scent) — he has to be mindful of his horns when he does this, but he's just so cute that you don't mind getting poked a bit lol

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

‧₊˚ ┊ It's in a dragon's nature to hoard and protect their treasure, and to Malleus, you are his most prized possession (he doesn't actually regard you as an object/something he has ownership of btw he's just protective of you and your relationship)

‧₊˚ ┊ Poor boy has abandonment issues, so he's always worried that you might leave him one day (you're gonna be reassuring him that you're not going anywhere and comforting him pretty often)

‧₊˚ ┊ Malleus is a bit attention hungry — he's not controlling or demanding of your time — but he will get a bit pouty and huffy if you don't give him enough of your time

‧₊˚ ┊ When he's like this, expect a light rainstorm to form over NRC — a key signifier that your poor dragon is in one of his moods

‧₊˚ ┊ Now, if he's extremely jealous (like if someone flirts with you or something), expect a tsunami of rain, gale force winds, and an earthquake

‧₊˚ ┊ Extreme weather disasters aside, all you have to do is give Malleus some of your time, attention, and love and he'll be right as rain (hehehehe get it?)

‧₊˚ ┊ Again, absolutely, 100%, without a doubt: YESYESYESYES

‧₊˚ ┊ Malleus grew up isolated and (mostly) alone, both revered and feared for his lineage and power, but there's none of that with you — all there's only pure, unconditional love and that's what makes him feel whole

‧₊˚ ┊ Like, yeah he has Lilia, Silver, Sebek, and his grandmother, but they're family to him — you offer him a different, deeper sort of bond that he's longed for over his many years of life

‧₊˚ ┊ You know him, you see him, and you love him unconditionally and without restraint — not because of his status or power, but because of who he is to you: not the fifth most powerful mage in Twisted Wonderland, or the heir to the Briar Valley's Throne, but as your Mal-Mal, your Hornton, your Tsunotaro, your beloved (ooohhh I got really sappy here lol)

‧₊˚ ┊ Now, I already mentioned that Malleus isn't very technologically savvy, but if you teach him about video games, I feel like he'd really enjoy the cozy genre

‧₊˚ ┊ Like, he'll definitely make you and him in the Sims and have you guys fall in love and get married and have a bunch of kids (he'll add Lilia, Silver, and Sebek too so you guys can all be one big happy family)

‧₊˚ ┊ He'd probably be really friendly with all his villagers in Animal Crossing and make up storylines and interpersonal drama between them (he tells you all about it too lol)

I think the worst part about being on the aro-ace spectrum is knowing you’ll probably never be anyone’s first choice. Like. I love my friends and I’d like to think they still love me, but compared to their partners (current or hypothetical future ones) I’ll always be at least second. And it’s fine, I don’t expect to be above someone who they love so much they want to spend the rest of their life with, but just knowing every allo person is a first choice to someone else and I never will be? ,,, kinda sucks,, :/

Hello, everyone! Can you believe that it's been nearly 5 years since I started this blog on a whim, wanting to write for TWST and post silly things about visual-novel development? I never thought that my writing would attract thousands of wonderful people, neither that my little hobby would lead to writing well over 500K words of content. Between fics, head-cannons, a visual novel, and now a mystery romance that I plan to publish on ao3. It's kind of wild, y'know? I've made some good friends on this site, shared work with some really great mutuals, and really just found lots of love in exploring communities.

Which...now leads me into the second part of this announcement. The part that took days of convincing myself to make, because I was stubborn and prideful and a bit ashamed.

If you've followed me for years, interacted with me, or are one of my good friends -- you know that back in 2023 I was diagnosed with a chronic, autonomic nervous system disorder called POTS (Postural-Orthostatic-Tachycardiac Syndrome). As the years have progressed, it's severity has only gotten worse. I've found my entire life flipped upside down, and when paired with cardiac problems and other issues...ah, it's been a difficullt journey. I had to drop out of college, take loans to pay my bills, and have lost 6 jobs while trying to find one that I can function with. Some I lasted a bit of time at - others I barely started before an accident happened that lead to resigning. One was this past week. My sixth opportunity, I nearly caused an accident that I likely would not have recovered from.

So, I'm out of work with no clear direction for a time. Between my loans, medical costs, and other needs from the past three years - I need to raise about 30k to make a clean slate going forward. I know. It's a hefty sum, but I need to start finding a way. A dollar from ten different means makes 10, which is 10 more than what I started with.

And...I know it's kind of silly. This idea just came to me while I was brainstorming for hours, because I've been writing on here for many years, and I thought 'If I could do a commission for every person who follows me, then it may just be enough'. I feel like those commercials on cable tv that go 'if everyone gave a dollar then all the puppies can have shelter for the winter' - and I used to hate those commercials because they'd make me so sad. Except I understand why they air, because it's true. If everyone who watched them DID donate a dollar, then I bet a lot of dogs would have a warm bed.

I think some of the loneliness of autism is that you feel like you hurt people just by Interacting Wrong, but you don’t know how to Interact Right, and the more effort you put into it, the more exhausted you are and the more artificial it comes across (with the end result of people still being upset with you). and it’s not anyone’s fault for not liking Being Interacted With Wrong, and it’s not your fault for doing it so wrong, but it is very, very lonely.
