IF YOU’RE NOT WILLING TO LOCK IN WITH SHIFTING FOREVER YOU WILL NEVER FREE YOURSELF FROM NEEDING THE 3D TO VALIDATE YOUR TRUST
i repeat.
IF YOU’RE NOT WILLING TO LOCK IN WITH SHIFTING FOREVER—IE UNDERSTAND THAT SHIFTING MIGHT JUST TAKE YOU A LIFETIME—YOU WILL NEVER FREE YOURSELF FROM NEEDING THE 3D TO VALIDATE YOUR TRUST
i know it fucking sucks to hear that shifting has no timeline. i know it sucks to be years in and not feel any closer. i know it sucks to feel like you’ve wasted your energy on something that may never come. but i can’t give you the assurance that you only have to persist for __ much longer until it’s “your turn”. i can’t. if you wanna shift, you have to lock in WITHOUT the assurance of how much time it will take. you have to trust yourself before the shift comes. and if you cannot do that, if you cannot help but turn against yourself and be self critical and self punishing, shifting is going to be detrimental to your mental well being.
everyone can shift, and shifting is inevitable but it doesn’t mean that everyone should label themselves a shifter. being a shifter comes with a toll. you get berated, by others and sometimes yourself. you experience the full scope of emotions for things you cannot prove. you go to awesome places, but sometimes there are terrible things in those places. you develop and evolve quicker than others because you can almost speed-run through life’s many obstacles and lessons. you will lose yourself only to gain 10 more of you. time stops being real. life here gets duller, less colorful, almost like a buffer for life there. you’ll experience more in one night than some people experience in 20 years. and all of this will exist only within your head.
it is PERFECTLY valid and reasonable if that toll is not something you can pay right now. or ever. please protect your peace. your peace is worth more than any DR. that, I PROMISE YOU, is the case for everyone.
Hello everyone. Recently I've been been having a motivating yet somewhat frustrating experience while attempting to shift, and I need to know if anyone else has experienced anything like it. To put it simply, I think I am feeling two realities at the same time. Let me explain.
At first I thought this experience was just a symptom of my body falling asleep, or being too excited/nervous while attempting to shift, but the more it happens the more I am convinced that I am actually making it "halfway" between realities. Basically, this only happens when I try awake methods. I will be laying down (usually on my back, but it has happened in other positions, even once while I was sitting up) and focusing on my breathing, then I start focusing on the feeling of being in my DR. I try my hardest to literally put myself there in the moment, and I'll start to get this sensation of vibration in my mind and body, as if my awareness is actively flickering between two states of being. I can still feel my CR body laying there, but I simultaneously feel my DR body--and it really does feel different, especially if I'm shifting to a DR where I am younger or physically different. For some reason, this often includes crazy visuals of geometric patterns and like...flower shapes...idek. The whole experience can be quite distracting and even frightening which disrupts my focus and often lands me right back in my CR. Today, I tried so hard to just breath through it, and the more I focused on my DR self the more intense the vibrations got, until I was sure I was about to shift fully, but it was like something in me was resisting. Maybe I was too excited, or a bit scared idk.
Here's my working theory about what's going on:
We all have heard that in order to shift, you must resonate with your desired reality. In other words, you must match the frequency of your desired self. Well, I think I am almost matching that frequency, but lingering fears, doubts, and CR thoughts are creating interference which results in feeling both realities at once. It quite literally feels like two overlapping frequencies, vibrating at slightly different rates. It's like my awareness is a slightly out of tune instrument attempting to resonate with another, but resulting in a dissonant sound.
Anyway, if anyone has experienced anything like this before or if you have any advice, please let me know because I haven't been able to find anyone talk about it. Feel free to comment or message me, I would really appreciate it. ((:
I Might Have Found the Real Reason We Struggle to Shift After Years of Research — and How to Finally Do It
(credits to Kvoyox on reddit for writing and researching and @alliecat2099 for bringing this to my attention)
First of all, I’m not going to talk about methods, programming your mind, and all of that stuff. What I want to explain is something that I’ve been asking myself since the day I discovered shifting—and probably you did too. What is the reason for why most of us cannot “willingly” shift even though we try so hard? And what is the key that can set us free? And I might have found the answer. Of course you don’t have to believe me; you can decide for yourself if you want to trust my research or not. But I personally believe that this is the answer that can set anyone free.
This is a long text, but I promise it'll be worth your time.
Chapter 1: The Hidden Enemy.
Many people believe that our subconscious is the enemy. And while we argue with it, trying to make sense of our “incapability” to shift, there is something else lurking in the shadows. It deprives us of our powers. It makes us wear a mask, seeing only the illusions of life while reality is much different than we perceive it. And that’s the problem: perception.
And on top of everything, this hidden enemy seems to have such immense power that it can actively block us from shifting. And everyone trying to argue that there is nothing that can stop us from shifting, then I have to ask you… why doesn’t everyone shift on command then?
Yes, we shift all the time. Literally billions of times per second, and I’m not exaggerating. But why doesn’t it work when we WANT to shift? Shifting is completely natural, and we already do it. But when we want to do it, it doesn’t work?
The answer is simple. The enemy I’m talking about is our ego. The ego naturally resists change. It wants control. It clings to identity and safety. It fears losing “this” reality. It wants to protect the self. And shifting threatens everything it thinks you are.
It cannot stop us from shifting, but it can block us from experiencing shifting. Because the ego’s job is to make sense of reality. It directly correlates with our perception, all our senses. But what we have to realize is that our perception is a lie. It’s all just an illusion; there is no cause in anything. Reality is fluid; it changes all the time, but our ego gives us the illusion of a strict, solid reality. It imprisons us in a world we don’t want to be in, but what we don’t understand is… that we ourselves, therefore, don’t want to shift. I’ll explain this later on.
Chapter 2: Reasons.
Let me give you some more examples of why I think that our ego is the sole reason why we don’t shift when we want to.
1. In the so-called “Void State,” we are just pure consciousness. This implies that we don’t have a vessel (body) and therefore no ego controlling our perception. Therefore, we can simply shift without any boundaries.
2. In a deep meditative state, the chances of shifting seem to increase a lot. This is because we are more disconnected from our perception (ego) of our current reality.
3. Based on people’s experiences, many people shifted when they were younger. Some of you might not even remember it happening, but it probably did. The reason for that is that children are controlled by their subconscious mind (theta state). As they grow older, the ego begins to develop and take control of the body, making it “harder” to willingly shift.
4. The law of assumption (programming yourself to be a shifter) works 100% because when you do it, your ego begins to accept the idea of you being in completely different realities. You begin to identify yourself as such a person. And when that is the case, the ego cannot stop you anymore because it “believes” in it.
5. It becomes easier to shift in lucid dreams and the astral realm because your ego is not as strong and present as it is when you are awake. Still, it exists there, and that’s why it is not guaranteed to shift through these (you still have ego goals). In the astral realm, however, you can achieve states of higher consciousness where you can free yourself from the ego, allowing you to effortlessly shift.
6. People who shift for the first time often see great results first, but then, as they try again and again, progress seems to come to a halt. Your ego identity begins to change from “Hey, maybe I can do that” to “It doesn’t work; I can’t do it.”
7. Some people manage to shift, return to this reality, and realize that they can’t do it anymore and struggle again. They returned to their ego-self, stopping them from shifting again.
8. Some people grow up in a spiritual, open environment. The ego, therefore, is more used to such ideas and experiences, allowing them to shift easier.
Chapter 3: Understanding Ego
I’m going to give you the reason now that explains why you don’t shift.
Because you are not conscious. You are ego. Let me explain.
Currently, your ENTIRE identity is your ego. You have a name, a personality, a job, thoughts, emotions, etc., etc., etc. You go through your day believing that you ARE your egoic mind. It became your identity, your everything. Every thought it thinks, every emotion it creates, you believe that it is all you. You are so connected to this illusion that you aren’t even conscious. In fact, for almost the entire day, you are unconscious. Because you think all the time. And that is the reason why you don’t shift. Because you are not conscious, you are not aware.
Isn’t it true that you think all day long? You’re always in your mind, thinking about the past and the future, thinking about random scenarios that don’t even make sense. Even when you’re trying to shift, you are still in your mind, mindlessly repeating affirmations, asking yourself over and over again if it is working or not. Every time you judge or label something, you are in your mind. In those situations, you ARE your mind, but this is not how it is supposed to be. You are supposed to be consciousness, not your egoic mind.
I tell you right now: if you manage to disconnect from your egoic mind, stop identifying with it, and identify with the true source (consciousness) again, you’ll be able to instantly shift wherever you want to go. This is not a theory but a fact.
When your ego doesn’t want to leave this reality because it doesn’t like change, this automatically translates then into YOU not wanting to shift. Because you are still identified with your egoic mind. It doesn’t matter how badly you want it deep down; your ego, and therefore yourself, is stopping you from achieving it. If you manage to become identified with consciousness again, it will work.
I want you to truly grasp how much you identify with your ego. Every thought you think, every emotion you allow to be created, every time you judge or label something, every single time you do something like this, you are in your egoic mind. The voice, and the images in your mind… You have to realize that all these things are not you; they are products of the egoic mind. But they seem as if you created them, which is not true. Even when you consciously create a thought, you are not the thinker! You are still the awareness behind it.
This is not how it is supposed to be. You have to understand that your mind is a TOOL. But right now, it is nothing like that. It enslaves you; you have no control over it. Excessive thinking is not normal! You are supposed to be able to think when you want to think. Normal is a silent mind, not a constantly chattering mind. You cannot stop thinking, you cannot control your mind, because it took control over you. It uses you. And then you begin to identify with it; slowly, as you grow older, it becomes your entire identity, and you begin to lose touch with who you really are: consciousness, the silent watcher. As long as you cannot control your mind and just stop thinking when you want to, then the mind is using you. You are not the thinker; you are the awareness behind it.
Chapter 4: The Now—How to Escape Your Egoic Mind.
The only way to escape your ego is to become present in the Now. Now implies no thoughts, no mind activity in general. In the Now, you are fully present of what is happening around you; you are not stuck in your mind; you are actually experiencing with your full awareness what is going on. In that moment, there are no limitations, no blockages, no fears, nothing. All there is, is peace. Nothing matters; all you do is be, that’s it. And when this happens, there is no ego, no gatekeeper stopping you from shifting. The ego cannot exist in a state of presence; it cannot sustain itself when you’re truly present. I see so many people talking about fears, blockages, etc. but all of them wouldn't matter if you weren't identified with your ego and be present.
The problem is that your identification with your egoic mind is so strong that it stops you entirely from shifting. But every single day, there are certain situations where the portal to your DR is wide open, and that is when you are fully immersed in the Now.
I want to give you some exercises that you can do from now on. I’ve learned them from Eckhart Tolle. The goal is to take energy away from your egoic mind and into your consciousness. This way, you'll begin to realize that you aren't your mind and you'll gain more and more power.
Make sure not to be in your mind all day long. For example, when you’re doing certain tasks like cleaning or brushing your teeth, etc., try to fully immerse yourself in the situation. Don’t think; be aware of what is happening and how it feels. Be the awareness being aware. Don’t think about the past or future; draw full attention to what you’re doing, even if it is something as simple as going downstairs and feeling the steps and the weight of your body. In addition, focus on inner body sensations to keep yourself in the present moment. Those sensations are subtle vibrations you can feel for example in your hands and feet (and your entire body).
When you have excessive thought streams, detach from them by watching from afar. Don’t identify with them, don’t judge them, and don’t suppress them. That's because when you do judge, you're just giving energy to your egoic mind. Be the silent watcher, simply observing those thoughts. You will realize that you are not those thoughts; they just come in. What you really are is the consciousness being aware of them. Don’t even identify yourself with the thoughts you consciously think. What you’re doing is using your mind as a tool, creating a thought. But you are not the mind, not the thoughts. You as consciousness decided to use your mind as a tool to create a thought. In addition, try not to think as much as you can. Once you become aware of your thoughts, they’ll eventually subside anyway. Become silent in your mind, and within that silence a portal to your desired reality will open. Because silence is the key. The noise the mind creates blocks you from shifting. When you manage to become completely silent, no judgement, no overthinking, and a clear intention to shift or go to the void, it'll happen.
3. When trying to shift, set an intention beforehand. You can lie down or sit; it doesn’t really matter. Become relaxed by taking a few deep breaths. Now, there are a few things you can do. First, if you are really good at visualization, make sure to fully immerse yourself in the picture you see and make it feel as real as possible. Make it happen right now. Don’t perceive it as a picture; BE in that picture in the Now. Secondly, you don’t need to visualize. You can also immerse yourself in the FEELING of being in your DR right now. Just the feeling, not using any of your 5 senses. It's like you're lying in your bed with earplugs and closed eyes, you just know you're there. Thirdly, you can go to the void state, which is by far the best way to shift. I want to do another post about how to enter the void state in the near future, which is, in my opinion, the best and easiest way to shift. And, in fact, entering it isn’t even that hard once you understand how to actually go there.
I highly, highly, highly recommend reading the book “The Power of Now” by Eckhart Tolle. You can find it for free on the internet in case you don’t want to pay. It’ll change the way you see the world and shifting entirely.
Now, there are two paths you can take; both of them will eventually lead you to your desired reality.
Take away enough energy from your egoic mind, disconnect from your ego, and become identified with consciousness. You can achieve this by doing the first two exercises above. In addition to those, I recommend accepting the Now as it is. It doesn’t matter what situation you’re in; it doesn’t matter how hard life feels. Life is always perfect and beautiful, but your ego stops you from experiencing that. Every time you get mad about your life situations, you’re automatically feeding your egoic mind energy it can use to get even stronger. Either accept the situation or do something about it now. When trying to shift, don’t overthink it. Clear your mind completely; don’t ask yourself if it works. All you’re doing is giving energy to your egoic mind. And then, it won’t work. I highly advise you to just set an intention and become silent. Don’t let your ego take control by thinking, wanting to be there, etc. Take control by being silent and simply observing. Let it happen, let the universe change your reality. Moreover, I recommend meditation, as it is a super useful tool to train your attention, making it easier to detach from your ego. Later on, it’ll help you a lot in reaching the void state.
2. Manifest changes within your egoic mind. Once the mind is on board with the idea that you can simply shift wherever you want to go, it won’t stop you anymore. I made another post about this if you want to check it out. In this reality, the ego controls your perception. It shows you whatever it believes in. If you truly believe deep down that you can shift, your ego will too. Then, even if you’re still identified with your egoic mind, it won’t stop you anymore because it also believes in it.
Again, this is just my perspective on this topic. You don’t have to believe me, but if you go deeper and really ask yourself, “Why do I not shift?” eventually you might just get to the same conclusion as me. It is very simple. You are consciousness but the problem is that you identify yourself with the egoic mind. If you want to shift, either convince your ego or dissolve it by taking energy away from it. Again, if you want a more in-depth explanation, I recommend reading Eckhart Tolles book. Thank you for reading this far, and I wish you the best.
for those who deem this too long a read, i will sum up my findings.
To start, Kvoyox talks about the minds Ego. I remember learning about the Ego in my AP Psychology class last year. The Ego is a powerful thing, it is what controls and feeds you thoughts. Kvoyox, in this article, states, "the ego’s job is to make sense of reality. It directly correlates with our perception..." (bottom of chapter 1)
He goes on to give a few examples as to why this is his belief, and then delves into how to understand the Ego.
...your ENTIRE identity is your ego. You have a name, a personality, a job, thoughts, emotions, etc....
(Understanding Ego, Chapter 3)
In Chapter 4, he explains how to change your egoic mind and offers two exercises–taken from the book The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle–that help in taking back power from your ego and transferring it to your consciousness, which is what you are.
You are not a body, you are not a mind, you are simply awareness, consciousness, if you will.
At the end he offers and explains ways in which you can shift to your DR, one of which is the void state, and to which Kvoyox states, "... which is by far the best way to shift..." (bottom of Chapter 4)
below are a few honorable quotes
"Clear your mind completely; don’t ask yourself if it works" (Chapter 4)
"I highly advise you to just set an intention and become silent." (Chapter 4)
"I recommend meditation, as it is a super useful tool to train your attention, making it easier to detach from your ego. Later on, it’ll help you a lot in reaching the void state." (Chapter 4)
the easiest way you can shift is simply by not caring…hear me out!
i’m probably by far the most break-taking shifter in the community and i always come back with banger after banger and shift after shift. not caring saved me.
it’s simply because i don’t care. i don’t care about shifting, i don’t care about where i am success-wise, where i am shifting-wise, nothing. i don’t care. i don’t care because i am the term shifting.
the less effort i put into shifting, i realize how simply shifting is mine. shifting is “a become” process, not “a succeed.” you already succeeded when you took a breath and said you’re a shifter. you are the success, not the shift. the shift is what succeeds when you choose to be in your dr. you are the prize, not your desired reality.
this is why i believe that you shouldn’t care. why care when shifting is a part of who you are? it’s as simple as breathing — and that term may be used and abused, but it was never untrue.
you become who you are in your desired reality when you intend to be there. you are who you are meant to be because you intended for it to be that way. you already succeeded. there is no reason to care and to stress about shifting.
let yourself be human. grow in shifting and grow as a person. the more you center around shifting, the harder it becomes because you don’t allow yourself to just sit and be human.
literally everything i could think of that i’ve said, done, thought or been told that i currently align with… DISCLAIMER: this will not be revolutionary or new. everything i say has likely been said before, either by me or someone else. regardless, repeating things can penetrate the subconscious mind so i figure this can help at least one person finally “get it” when it comes to shifting. enjoy xo
there is no key but if there was one for shifting intentionally, it’d be to trust. trust your subconscious to know what its allowing to enter your sphere. trust that your mindset, as imperfect as it is, is still enough to shift. trust that shifting is meant for you. trust that this hasn’t been all for nothing.
those expectations you have need to be dropped. shifting will live up to everything you imagined and more but it’s not a movie. it’s just life. the moment you start viewing life through the lens of shifting and vice versa, that pedestaled, idealized version of your dr doesn’t seem so far anymore.
intention grows. it strengthens. it combines. never worry about whether you’re setting intention right because every connection you’ve made to your dr solidifies that intention.
intention is technically not the only thing you “need” to shift. sometimes we have anxiety. sometimes we need intention + familiarity. comfort. tethers. so keep that in mind when shifting to your drs. if you feel confident in your intention but still haven’t seen that “movement”… are you comfortable? does your dr feel like home?
use senses and emotion to embrace your dr. your surroundings. yourself. embody it wholly. not to shift but to familiarize. make your subconscious know that your dr is safe.
stray away from intense emotions when imagining but don’t run into the arms of something that bores you. unless you truly find an emotional connection constantly visualizing the place you’re waking up, use a different emotional tether or connection to shift to your dr. mine, for example, is my mom. she’s been my tether for both shifting to my dr and shifting from it back to my cr. i think of her and everything around me settles. it soothes. i know i am home. find something like that.
shifting is not physical. so using physical crutches (whether that be scripting, methods, night time routine, etc.) aren’t the things making you progress in your journey. not to say they’re pointless but if you find yourself putting your trust in those things over your own mind, you need to step back and re-evaluate. ie: “i have to do [ ] before i can shift to my dr!”
stop looking for what you did wrong. curb it and just feel. intellectualizing your perceived failures is keeping you in a loop of blaming yourself for not receiving your desires. there is no intellectualizing not shifting because it’s nothing you did wrong. shifting isn’t something you do, it’s something you are. you are constantly shifting, evolving and aligning. even when it seems like nothing happened, something did. believe that and allow it to be the thing you remind yourself of when you’re frustrated.
speaking of, frustration and anger will not stop you from shifting. desperation will not stop you from shifting. any negative emotion you have about shifting will not stop you from shifting. what stops you is the assumption that it will. the assumption that you’ve just “messed” up and now you need to start again. the overcorrecting. the constant checking. all of it is just rooted from a limited self belief already. when i say nothing is stopping you from shifting except yourself, i don’t mean your emotions. you aren’t your emotions but the observer of them. i am literally talking about the you that’s observing this. that’s processing this. you are capable of observing and processing your emotions without taking them on as who you are.
usually when i shift, i don’t affirm anything related to shifting. i just really focus on belonging in a dr. i use trigger words that put visuals in my head without me needing to force it (because i find the more natural and at ease i feel, the easier it is for me to slip).
shifting begins the moment you decide it does. in this year alone, i have not taken more than 10 minutes to shift. when i decide i’m going to my dr—even if i don’t end up shifting—i feel the immediate click. that immediate transfer of awareness, of connection. it’s hard to describe but when you know, you know.
symptoms are a byproduct of shifting—yes! but they’re more a result of resistance to shifting. shifting is internal and not a physical process. it’s not meant to be felt as much as it’s meant to be embodied. the less symptoms you feel (in my experience) = the more aligned and in flow you are with just being in the dr. i mean think about it, when you’re here do you randomly feel symptoms? no. so they shouldn’t be a marker for how close you are. and if you need more convincing, look back at past attempts. i’m willing to bet that the moment you looked for those markers in your shifts, those external symptoms, you’d lose em just as fast. it’s because you grounded yourself here.
now this won’t be the case for everyone but i’ve found more success in not attempting than trying to. literally just rolling over and saying “fuck it”. i think the reasoning behind that is there’s no resistance that i’ve built. i’m not attached to any outcome AND shifting is always in the back of my mind ANYWAY so boom. because of this, i haven’t “tried” to shift since late august/early september lmfaoo
success is not only about shifting or not shifting. the journey of shifting is so much greater than getting to your dr. getting to your dr is guaranteed aa long as you don’t quit but while you’re walking towards that inevitable fact, you should also be walking towards self sufficiency. having grace for yourself. talking yourself down from spirals and listening to your intuition.
how can you expect to trust your intuition when you call yourself a liar mid sentence? when you immediately believe the “hah, you know you’re not shifting tonight, just go to sleep.” stop operating under logical fallacies and hold yourself accountable. instead of spiraling every time an undesirable emotion pops up, use it as your time to build your intuition and self reflection. why did it come up and when exactly did it happen? during what word? journal, process and release. be just as intentional about your trust as you are about shifting.
shift for whatever the hell you want. script whatever the hell you want. but understand that shifting is still real life. while it’s not something you can tangibly transfer from here to there and vice versa, reckless shifting habits can still consciously affect you as if you experienced it in this reality. you’re breaking down barriers by shifting. by refusing to accept a single awareness as home. so be sure to take care of your mental health by viewing shifting as reality and not fiction.
the past can inform your current decisions but do not allow it to dictate them. don’t allow a perceived failure from your past to keep you from experiencing your desired present.
stop being a fucking martyr. i said it best in my dr but, “you don't have to die to matter. you don't have to be covered in blood to deserve a warm bath.” stop taking on others trauma. stop trying to be a fucking hero. if you’re meant to be that, you will be that, you don’t need to script it. allow yourself to step up to the plate in the moment instead of planning to do so just to sit in your bed, procrastinating shifting because you’re too goddamn scared to go experienced what YOU wrote down.
for the last time, you are not moving your consciousness, it’s not going anywhere! you’re just aligning your awareness to something you desire!! consciousness is everywhere so it doesn’t require movement.
don’t micromanage each moment, sometimes it’s okay to just do nothing in it. feeling symptoms? do nothing. observe but do not engage. don’t over analyze in the moment because that’s what doesn’t allow the flow. think of the symptoms like your subconscious testing if this is a safe mental state. if it’s safe you aren’t going to overreact—you’re just gonna let it pass through.
instead of striving for the perfect experience, focus on the joy and fulfillment of the process. remind yourself that the outcome of shifting is inevitable (you either shift or you don’t) so detach from results. focus on the feeling of already being there instead of the method. truly emotionally align yourself more with your dr self than the want to shift.
do not rush imagination. if you get lost in a daydream, feel it fully with no expectations of how long or short it needs to be. you don’t have to finish before sleeping. you don’t have to rush through it because you’re tired. if you fall asleep, you fall asleep. you’re set. trust your connection.
don’t go into shifting acting as though you know what it looks like if you haven’t experienced it yet. that blocks off so many avenues of how you can you shift, where you can, what you can shift into etc. this is one of the reasons i stopped scripting. it felt like i was blocking off the when, where and how of shifting. i didn’t want to write down my destiny, i wanted to live it. to figure it out in the moment instead of making an epic story before even experiencing it.
gratitude gets you farther than you’d think. back in april, my guides showed me in a dream that i can shift by simply listing off the things i was grateful for in my dr and allowing those feelings to fill me. it’s something i go back to when i want an easy connection.
understand that you’re not a product of reality, reality is a product of you. when you experience a circumstance that is unsatisfactory, it doesn’t have to be real unless you confirm (through your assumptions) that it is. so if you wanted to shift really badly and woke up here, rewrite that circumstance. you did shift. maybe you just forgot? allow that to be your truth and move on.
so many shifters succeed through repetition, emotional attunement and energy work. and those are little shifts within themselves. shifting for a lot of us is very healing. and sometimes the journey we go on to reach this destination is apart of the medicine that aligns us with our highest selves. as you continue to subconsciously integrate the work you’ve put in to build to a full shift, you may find that shifting happens quicker. but you must understand that even if shifting is not universally instantaneous for you, it doesn’t mean you’re doing anything wrong. continue to persist. don’t doubt your capabilities.
shifting can come to you effortlessly. you don’t have to work for it. no physical routine is going to guarantee you a shift, it’s your alignment to the place and your willingness to just be. to flow.
divine timing does not have to apply to you. there doesn’t have to be a higher source controlling when you shift. if anything, you can be that higher source. you can be the divine that’s deciding.
if you are doing anything that resembles chasing a shift, you are creating underlying resistance. shifting is natural. we will do it forever and ever and ever. making decisions to try to force it into happening is just you contradicting the natural ability you were born with.
many people have probably shifted and they thought they were dreaming because the shift wasn’t long enough for them to fully comprehend and realize they were living in reality. sometimes shifting feels so natural that you don’t get an “aha i shifted!” moment until you come back but don’t let that deter you. usually if you feel like you shifted, you did (in some capacity).
as much as you may complain about not having shifted yet, you’re very comfortable and familiar with this reality and uncomfortable with your dr. you may live too deeply in the “i wanna shift” state and not the “i wanna be my dr self” state. your dr does not have to be as far away as you make it seem in your head. it’s within you. that’s never far.
the emotions you feel around your dr cannot just be made up! there’s a reason you feel so strongly and so connected to the people of your dr. they’re meant for you. you’re meant to know them. to know shifting.
you don’t have to keep focusing on your dr until the absolute last second before you fall asleep or shift. not only is it impractical and asks you to have perfect thoughts but also it’s just false? i don’t know why some of you have it in your head to do that but it’s wrong! just do what comes naturally to you. even if that’s doing nothing at all.
That’s all for now! I hope this post helps you in some way. I’d really appreciate it if you could reblog and like it so that it can reach anyone who might need it. <33
manifesting and shifting are the same. your perception is what separates them.
It’s been on my mind for a while to discuss this and I put it off often but I decided that it’s time to rip the band-aid off and to discuss shifting.
So, in my totally awesome post I made a while ago, I discussed the law of assumption and I briefly touched on shifting and I said that manifesting was just smaller scale shifts in a parallel reality. Now, that is still true but I know that isn’t probably the shifting you’re thinking of. You’re probably thinking about shifting to a whole new reality like Harry Potter, MHA, or whatever, and you may be wondering how you do that since it seems so much harder than just shifts in a parallel reality.
Now, I will tell you you’re dead wrong and that it is just as easy as you make it. However, I understand the struggle to comprehend the concept itself—it doesn’t seem as easy as manifesting a free cookie or a few dollars—but I will absolutely tell you that it is if you decide to. I will give a personal anecdote here because I am someone who has shifted NUMEROUS times.
The act of shifting is no more complex than deciding you have because they are the same mechanism. When I go about my day, and I feel the urge to go be an unholy menace in my DR, i pick how I want to do it because I don’t like sticking to a single way of doing it (SIDENOTE: methods are absolutely a choice and do not guarantee a shift. The only thing that guarantees your shift is you! So please treat methods as a fun little thing and not a requirement. Anyways side note over) and I just decide that I am in my reality and I absolutely do not look for evidence or anything that contradicts that. I know nothing can.
And I just go about my day and then I’ll blink and I’m in my DR. It is that instant. There was no fade out, no falling down a huge wormhole, no feeling of ascension, just a blink and I was there. Now this was no “blink method”, but just me deciding I was there and so I was.
Everything that you can possibly imagine works in that very way and there is nothing that can contradict that. Deciding and putting it to rest is key. You do not entertain whatever you see because why would you? If you were in your DR at this very second, would you be like “w-well… even if I d-didn’t shift… I always h-have tomorrow! 🥹 👉👈”? NO! No. Nope. You wouldn’t be saying that if you were in Hogwarts, you wouldn’t be saying that if you were tonguing down your SP, you wouldn’t say none of that. Nada. Zilch.
Reality shifting works the exact same way as manifesting. I used the exact same “method” for shifting for getting rid of hypothyroidism. I didn’t sit here and go all like “well even though I feel like I live in an igloo and feel exhausted 24/7, I don’t have it!” No! I said fuck hypo, hyper, and any -ism because I just got a thyroid that is HEALTHY and boom look at that, blood test came back and it was all good. The point is that it is the exact same mechanism. The only reason it doesn’t seem that way is because you’re perceiving a separation and assuming one.
And let me just put this down too: if you say you “mini-shifted” no you didn’t. You absolutely shifted so quit minimizing that. Also, you can shift awake, asleep, in the void, on the shitter—doesn’t matter. What matters is that you know that you 1. Can shift. 2. Are always shifting. 3. There is no separation between you and your reality. If you know that, you’re absolutely able to shift. If you don’t know that, you can shift too because now you do know that.

some of you affirm affirm and affirm for a while and then when you don't see results you start making different plans in your head. ex: you affirmed for 2 days and checked for results, now you start thinking "okay maybe i didn't listen to my playlist enough. i'm gonna organize it and then affirm and then try to go into the void state" that alone tells your subconcious and nervous system that you don't have it. you're thinking from lack.
how and why would you be asking yourself how to get something when you already have it? a lot of you guys are very logical, so really ask yourself this question and see if it makes sense as you catch yourself doing this. manifesting defies logic anyway, just affirm and go with the flow.
do not worry about the 'how' when manifesting just live in the end results and think AS IF. resistance always comes from within. the only thing standing between you and your manifestation is you.
I feel like when people hear, "act like you already have it," or "you are already in your DR," it is often misunderstood as lying to yourself or 'fake it till you make it,' but that is really not the point. The point is that you literally are already in your desired reality. In fact, you exist in all possible realities simultaneously whether you choose to become aware of them or not. Internalizing this fundamental principle completely redefined shifting/manifesting for me and took a lot of pressure off the process. In essence, it is not your responsibility to create realities or even physically put yourself in another reality. Creation is already done, so stop putting that responsibility on yourself. Your only responsibility is to become aware of a version of yourself that already exists and will always exist. Shifting is a single decision to see something that has always been there. That's why people say "you don't need a method to shift." Methods are simply a way to focus your intention leading up to the decision. The only reason you might feel you 'need' a method to shift is because it helps you detach from a version of reality where you have forgotten your own power. But no matter what reality you currently exist in, no matter what the 3D shows you, the fact remains that you are already in your DR, and you will always have the power to become aware.
hey guys, my name is hazel, i've never posted on here before, i've just been lurking for the past few months but i decided to post about how i shifted for the first time.
sidenote: this is a sideblog, with my main blog being quite personal to me. i'll answer questions and stuff but i won't be following anyone back or being mutuals with anyone. i hope you guys understand
𑣲 backstory:
apart from that i'll get straight to it. the first time i shifted was in august this year. before that i had absolutley no shifting exeprience at all, so all i had to go on was other peoples experiences. i'm a staunch athiest, still am, so i had trouble at first accepting it as true, given that alot of the community was very spiritual and believed in alot of stuff i didn't. it didn't help that i had virtually no shifting experience (mini-shift) at all before i shifted for the first time. i believed in shifting but honestly i couldn't explain to you why. i guess i just thought that many people could not be lying about their experiences, that some sort of phenomenon had to have been taking place.
𑣲 how i shifted:
in retrospect it was laughably simple. i had heard of neville goddard/law of assumption for years, i would say that i believed in it enough, but rather my problem was i would start spiralling when i thought i couldn't see the results in the 3d. before i had shifted, i was heavily burnt out, i couldn't give less of a fuck. i deleted all the shifting social media i had (tumblr/reddit/what not) because i was stuck in a loop of just scrolling there all day instead of focusing on my journey. i would avoid doing things such as studying and even watching tv shows i liked and wanted to watch in favour of scrolling through shiftblr and pinterest daydreaming about my dr. it came to a point where i felt everyday was the same because i was doing the exact same thing over and over without getting anywhere so i decided to take a break from this content to you know? actually live my life.
throughout the day i affirmed throughout that shifting was easy for me and that i am in my dr. i didn't do this consistently throughout the day, just when i remembered. i didn't peruse any shifting related media at all and in the night, before i went to sleep i would imagine some fun scenes from my dr but thats it.
when i was going to sleep, i didnt pressure myself into thinking i HAVE to imagine something before i go to sleep or else i won't shift, i just did it because it was fun. i didnt feel the need to because i was trialing just saying im there and going to sleep expecting to wake up there. if i woke up in my cr, i would simply go about my day here ignoring it and affirming otherwise when i thought about it then repeat. after like 3 days of this i woke up in my wr.
i think the reason it worked this time was because i wasn't putting pressure on myself saying things like, you NEED to affirm or else you wont shift or you NEED to visualise or you won't shift. i was just going with the flow. i think being so burnt out from shifting helped because i did not have the energy to be thinking about it and pressuring myself to shift all day. my mindset was more in the way of "i said i'm there so i'm there, just chill out and have fun doing whatever"
𑣲 the shift itself:
it was exactly as i had scripted it and better. words cannot describe the feeling of when you first shift there, it is beyond euphoria. my dr at that time wasn't that exciting, it was just a university dr but that was the without a doubt the best day of my life. people often ask about needing to ground yourself but i didn't feel the need to do that all. it wasn't blurry/hazy, it felt exactly like waking up here. i also reasoned that if i don't need to ground myself in this reality everytime i wake up why would i need to there, therefore that might be the reason i didn't need to do it.
i stayed there for an overall of 1 week and abit then shifted back here to my cr. it was around 5 in the morning and i just stayed awakw after that because i was too excited to sleep. since then i've been shifting pretty regularly using the same method. it definetly gets easier after the first time, atleast in my experience. for anyone curious, i had found shifting in around 2020 so it took me literally around 5 years to shift, and in those years i literally had nothing until the first time i had done it. its possible.
i hope this post was interesting enough to you guys, i'm probably not gonna post more after this unless there are any posts you guys would like to see. it's just idk what else there is to say, chill out, leave shifting content for abit and just relax. that would probably be my advice.
my asks are open but i'm probably not gonna answer any asks trauma dumping on me or asking help for your individual specific situation. idk what you need to do, i'm not a shifting coach. there are so many accounts on here you can ask instead. i just wrote this post incase it might motivate someone, i have no intention of becoming an advice blog.
✬You will never 'be ready' to shift or manifest. 'Ready' is a decision, not a feeling. Decide now. Do it scared, do it unsure, do it messy, do it organised, just do it.
✬Change your state of mind to change your reality.
✬You aren't required to be extreme, just consistent with what you are comfortable doing.
✬Don't wait until you're confident in your ability to shift/manifest. Shift & manifest until you are confident. There's no 'waiting' to be perfect so you can then do something.
✬You are not bound to this temporary human suit, so let yourself free from those delusional chains you claim yourself to be 'stuck' in, and manifest your desires.
✬Observe. Don't absorb.
✬Work in silence. Tell no one until it's done. Keep success to yourself.
✬The world was never meant to be realistic, be as unrealistic as you wish. The imagination has no bounds.
To manifest everything you want all it takes is - decide.
Deciding already having your desires isn't that hard, deciding something is a part of your life just like deciding to go to school or work, deciding to brush your teeth, deciding to dye your hair, deciding to clean your room, it's simple.
All it's takes for you to manifest anything, literally ANYTHING is just deciding it's yours, no matter how big or small it is, whether it's an expensive car, a superpower, your celebrity crush, a billion dollar mansion, a tea body, and even illogical unrealistic desires.
Law of assumption is simple:
Deciding it's yours > you have it.
let's not complicate things, all you have to know is that the moment you decide something is yours, then it is, you don't need to do a million methods to get what you want, 10k affirmations, the method this or the method that, you don't have to climb mountains, do a backflip or stop breathing to get what you want.
The law of assumption states one thing, and it's the one and only simple, easy-peasy steps to do, and I'm gonna state it for the millionth time:
Choose your desire (any really, you can literally choose to manifest a magic fairy, a genie, anything).
decide it's yours, done.
Now persist in the assumption that you already have it, bitch you have it, DONE SHUT THAT MIND OF YOURS.
For fuck sake, don't overcomplicate things. No more questions, every fucking method works if you believe it will; it all depends on your assumptions and beliefs. Even if you make the assumption that every time you pee you get a million dollars, you will (lmao i saw a success story of this) so yeah it all depends on your assumption because this is called the LAW OF ASSUMPTION for a reason.
now go manifest some magic life or magic fairy helping you dress up and pick clothes from your magic wardrobe.
Ok, so I’ve manifested multiple things in the past, including jobs and physical changes, but I’ve been in a bit of a slump lately. Well, this morning, after months of cyclical negative thinking and falling victim to limiting beliefs, I wanted to prove something to myself. For context, I have been listening to Dr. Joe Dispenza’s “Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself” (which I highly recommend and will write a separate post about), and his words about thinking and feeling greater than the external world really inspired me. I typically have a hard time with the idea of ignoring the 3d, but today I really tried to put it into practice, and it actually worked! So here’s the story:
For the last few days, my iPad hasn’t been charging properly. No matter what I did, it just wouldn’t charge. This was really upsetting to me because (1) I’m a digital artist who relies on my iPad to do work, and (2) I really can’t afford a new iPad right now. I even bought a new Apple charger to see if that would fix the problem, but nothing worked. I kept my iPad plugged in overnight, and when I woke up it was at 1% and still wasn’t charging. So I said to myself, “this iPad is going to be at 100% by the time I come home from work.” Throughout the day I imagined coming home to my iPad miraculously fixed and at 100%. I visualized the scene in my head and felt the emotions associated with it. Every time a doubt popped up, I simply disregarded it as noise. And, to be clear, I did have doubts! I’ve had doubts every time I’ve successfully manifested. The key is to not give those doubts power, to tell yourself that even your doubts can’t sway you from experiencing your desired reality, because it is already done. There’s nothing, not your emotions, not your surrounding, NOTHING that can keep your desires from manifesting. And then I tried to let it go. When the thought of my iPad came up, I just said to myself: “no matter what, it is fixed.” When I got home, I picked up my iPad from where I left it this morning, and it was at 100% and with a green charging indicator. The crazy thing is, I was shocked at first. Not necessarily shocked that I had manifested it, but shocked that it had happened so easily and quickly. I have literally no explanation for why it just randomly started to work because, guess what, you don’t need an explanation. Logic itself is a limiting belief, so don’t get caught up in it. The possibilities are limitless, so be specific about what you want and don’t compromise based on social constructed ideas of logic.
Anyway, I know it’s such a small and somewhat insignificant manifestation, but honestly this really solidified my beliefs. Now I just need to stop limiting myself and apply this thought process to other things in my life.
If you have any questions or want me to go more in depth about my mindset, please let me know. Thank you for reading! 🫶
Welcome to The Library of Awareness, a small mental academy I started, to learn more about consciousness and reality shifting/manifestation and apply the teachings to your journey.
Today, I went to my usual kundalini yoga class, and we focused on a few exercises of pranayama. My instructor talked in the meantime, and while we were struggling on a position and barely breathing, he said:
Focus on that specific part that hurts, acknowledge the pain and then breathe through it. Breathe IN it, breathe from each part of your body. They will soon start to vibrate at the same frequency.
What I want you to do today is treat your body like a messenger, not a master. Stay with me now, we’ll connect this to shifting later.
So, what I mean by this is: when a sensation appears, tightness in the chest, warmth in the stomach, tension in the hands, don’t jump to interpret it. Don’t label it as anxiety, or excitement, or dread. Just observe it as raw sensation.
That is just a flicker in the field of awareness, a message delivered, not a command to obey. The body speaks in impulses, but you are the listener, not the one being controlled.
This week, we separate what you feel from what you are.
How in the hell does this correlate to shifting? It trains detachment from the physical body, it reduces reactivity to sensations during methods, it stabilizes the observer state required for shifting, it leads to deeper trance and liminal consciousness, and it aligns with the non-dual approach to shifting (awareness ≠ body).
I know this was a lot to unpack and I lost a few of you over the road, so I’ll be straightforward now with the homework: this week, we separate what you feel from what you are.

Lesson 3: You feel the body, but you are NOT the body.
this advice is the hardest pill i’ve had to swallow this year but it’s one i think has fundamentally changed my perspective on shifting:
stop caring about whether you’ll shift tonight.
you wanna truly surrender to the shift? you wanna just let go and be present? you have to stop holding that pesky little thought in the back of your head that says “is tonight really the night?” you’re thinking too hard babes. and it just holds you at the threshold of release.
Yall this fuck ass planet w humans have made other souls not able to leave as quickly with reality shifting because it has CONDITIONED us to think that we need to work in order to see proof of skill, that we need to WORK HARD TO DO WHAT WE WANT- TO SEE PROOF OF IMPROVEMENT- TO SEE EVIDENCE OF GETTING WHAT WE WANT EVEN WHEN WE ARE ALONE?????
This mindset is NOT GOOD for reality shifters, in a way, IT MAKES IT MORE FUCKING COMPLICATED FOR YOUR SIMPLE SPIRIT MIND TO GO TO ANOTHER WORLD TO EXPERIENCE JOY.
YOUR ASS DOESN'T NEED TO HAVE THIS PROOF, YOU DONT NEED TO WORK HARD TO LEAVE, YOU DONT NEED TO WORK IN ORDER TO SHIFT REALITIES, YOU JUST DO IT. LET. GO.
now, i know let go is a term used alot, and people dont really explain it in a way that helps me understand it....
BUT HERE IS HOW I SEE THAT.
YOU JUST, VIEW YOUR DR. FEEL THE EMOTIONS, how do you feel about your room??? IS IT SAFE, IS IT COMFORTING?? WHAT DOES IT SMELL LIKE?? blankets?? plushies?? did you get a plush from a s/o?? how does that feel like??? how do you feel about that??? Plans this morning?? You joyful about those plans or are you dreading it???
THEN ONCE YOU ARE SOLID ON VISUALS / EMOTIONS, LET THIS STUPID REALITY GO!! JUST, FALL INTO YOUR DR!!
JUST FOCUS, KNOW THAT IT IS REAL, AS IT iS THE LIFE YOU ARE NOW LIVING.
GODDDDDDDDDD, JUST DO IT, LET GO, GET COMFY, AND LET GO!!!
IT ISN'T AN OPTION TO STAY HERE, TO WAKE UP HERE, YOU ALREADY CHOSE TO LEAVE THIS REALITY, YOU ALREADY CHOSE TO LEAVE. YOU HAVE NO USE IN THIS REALITY ANYMORE SOLIDER!!!!!
