at the end of the day we (or at least i) don't really know what makes someone shift. it can't be belief, intention, or a good mindset because people (including me) have shifted without these. shifting is a highly individual experience that is going to be different for every person.

but i see that as a good message, because you can literally still shift no matter what you do! shifting is inevitable, just don't give up.

Hi ho, you said better cr but I'm gonna pretend I didn't see that and tell you about my altered 2010 YJ DR. I'm currently working on a proper script but based off the everything about you I'm gonna assume you haven't seen the show so you probably wont care or understand some of the changes I've made to the canon so I'll sip it and talk about me like the self centered person I'm trying not to be.

I'm gonna se I to try and get in the mindset so like, when I use I its my dr self, got it, got it. I am Juniper Shallow aka Turtle Dove I'm half alien half canadian and on the team. My mentor is Black Canary aka Dinah Lance which means I get the trauma of having your lowkey mom be your therapist.

I consider myself pretty laid back, my powers are sonic screech and that's it, my human side nerfed me. I decided to script that because I wanted to have my powers mimic my mentor like everybody else. I still live in Canada but I zeta to Star City kinda like Artemis does but I'm not hiding anything.

I circulate being hot girl shit and depression but still hot girl shit. My S/O is Roy Harper. I have two appearances one is my human disguise aided by technology and the other is my half human half alien look. I consider myself a girls girls and I'm friends with everyone on the team.

I have all my safety stuff scripted but like asides from that. I have like fun funky handwriting, no matter where I shift I never want to get rid of my autism, I smell like mangoes, I have good grades and I'm athletic, I can play piano, Clarinet, Saxophone, and Violin. I can dance. I'm gonna my wardrobe sorted out but I know the vibe, I want half my wardrobe to be south Ontario summer fit and the other half winter Vancouver ya know.

I scripted in more team bonding an like different vibes, so I get to have more movie nights I also changed social norms in my script like I usual do so cuddling and kissing friends platonically is normal. I changed release dates of certain songs and shows and movies.

I also have my backstory which is lowkey simple, alien dad banged human mom Meridith Shallow and went back to their planet and visits on Christmas and Thanksgiving but always skips Easter.

I made it so Rocket joins the show earlier cause I love her. And aside from convuluted show changing stuff thats about it im always willing to yap more and answer questions

I lowkey feel bad about some of the stuff I script and lowkey think I have to nerf some stuff to stay humble.

so im building a smallville DR and i really dont know how to go about scripting the school parts? cus i just dont wanna, i mean its one thing to attend hogwarts and a whole other thing to sit through physics and chem again ew. so yeah if anyone has advice, comment.

Either make the classes really dumb or make ourself really smart I also recommend well in the show they have of big assignments where it like conpelte an indepth interview on your classmate script that you have less of those big ass assignments also script in decent enough funding for all the bullshit that happens in that school

i am figuring out little pieces of information about my dr and the people there, not on purpose at all. i don't even manipulate and choose these details anymore, it's like all of a sudden i realise something.

this is because my dr feels really really familiar to me. i feel like i'm already there. so when there are little bits and pieces of information, it's like i remember something that already happened or is happening or will happen. i probably dont even plan or choose anymore. it's second nature.

most of these things "came to me in a vision". and they always make perfect sense too. it fits the people's personalities as if they are real people (they are!) who i already know (i do!)

i wonder if i would feel the same way if i wasn't a shifter and my dr was just an imagination daydream world. like if i knew deep down it wasn't real, would i still feel like i know my "characters" really well?

i actually feel really silly at this point because i just knowww the answer of "how to shift" is literally right under my nose and when i realize it, i'm gonna be like "how didn't i get this sooner?!?! 🙄🫣🤦🏼‍♀️"
