How he’d ended up working there was still a sick joke of fate that, just thinking about it, made him furious enough to want to shove the dirty cutlery into the microwave, right before clocking out for the day. ------ Or: Xue Meng is battling everyday in a fierce workplace under an asshole-ish boss. The three survival rules of the financial consultant Xue Meng? 1. Keep a poker face. 2. Never contradict your boss. 3. Never let anyone think you don’t know what’s going on. Additional secret rule? Don't get caught fucking around with a senior in the office parking lot or the kitchenette. Xue Meng knows he can manage the risk.
