Day 6 - ~beetle~ Ladybug

I really didn’t wanna draw a beetle, so I ended up drawing a ladybug. I just really don’t like beetles...

I’m also a day late, but meh.

Day 5 - Mushrooms

I think mushrooms are cute, but I’m hella scared of them - in case they are poisonous or something xD

Day 4 - Potion

Inspiration from a healing potion from DnD - Hence the die, which is used for the points of healing.

Don’t mind the wrinkles, the paper is really thin and hard to work with, but it reminds me to not erase too much >.<

Day 2 - Moon

Simple, yet too much time is spent on drawing it.

I love moons and stars and even the notebook I use this month has a moon on it!

Day 1 - Wand

Wowe~ It has started! Not proud, but at least I’m doing it.

Another thing different from last year, is that I did a sketch underneath the ink. I don’t know if it takes the challenge out of it for me, but I try not to erase too often.

The inktober adventure begins!

Super excited and hope I can stick to it again :)

This year, I’ll be doing something more simplistic - Hence the smaller “sketchbook”. I usually hang myself in details and I wish to challenge myself to make simpler things.

I’ll be doing the “Woodland magic”-edition by Smalltownspells

Practice makes perfect and I am in no way good at drawing - yet. That’s why I’m doing this ^^

My mom bought me a tablet for Christmas and I decided to practice by drawing my boi! So here’s another Sweet tofu (I srsly gotta learn to draw a better face for him xD) This is also my first time drawing digitally (except for that one time in paint xD), so I’m not familiar with it yet. I have no clue how to color yet either...

Drew Nasi Lemak again, since I felt like it. Didn’t have a reference though, so it was only from my memory (hence why some details are missing).

Reviewing the inktober “challenge”:

Collection of my favorite pieces include: Salad, Sandwich, Escargot, B-52, Cola, Raindrop Cake & lastly, Inugami.

I think I’ve improved a bit in my techniques and drawing style. I see my “same-face-syndrome” and I’ve gotten a better insight in, what I need to improve. That being said, I enjoyed this inktober a lot and had fun drawing so different from what I’m used to! 😊 I’ll definitely be doing this challenge next year (if I’m not somewhere hectic in my life, who knows 🤔), but I might do a different theme. I love food fantasy and will probably continue to (try) drawing the different food souls, when I have the time ^^
