The moon was peeking at Louis’ wolf form as he crossed into the Styles pack’s territory.

Louis tapped his fingers against his thigh, anxious for the meeting to move along.

“God, it’s good to see you again.”

Louis sighed, his mug clinking on the counter when he set it down as he caught sight of a freshly showered Harry casually strolling back to his room naked. 

Holding therapy sessions through a thick haze of incense in the living room of the therapist’s apartment isn’t the most conventional of choices, but it was one of the reasons Louis warmed up to the concept. 

“This one, right?”

Louis woke slowly.

It had always seemed so easy and straightforward.

It wasn’t supposed to be like this.

Harry Styles sat with his head leaning against the wall, crackling the strawberry gum he was chewing while watching the athletic fields.

When the clock strikes midnight on the eve of December 24th, Louis Tomlinson’s birthday present starts singing out the song of the summer tanager.

Louis takes note of the cars lining the drive at Pembley House — five or six shiny posh numbers — and it’s nearly enough to send him back the way he came.

“Louis William Tomlinson, will you please quit rolling up your sleeves like that!”

It happened again.

It’s Friday the 13th.

Harry steps through the back door and out into the garden.

“This is my first live, so please be kind in the comments,” Harry says, squinting one eye, the live feed wobbling on Louis’ laptop screen as Harry apparently steadies his phone.

Growing up, Louis thought love wasn’t real.

Harry is not afraid to admit that she's a rather superstitious person.

Nesting was supposed to come naturally to omegas, but for Louis it never had.

The dappled multicoloured light, shining through the ornate stained glass window above the altar floods the grey flagstone floor.

Liam glances around the stuffy conference room, as he shifts a little uncomfortably in his chair.

Zayn doesn’t even notice the lift stopping.

The semester just started and he’s already over it.

Just put a sign on the window that says - not having a breakdown, im just here for the kid!

Louis isn't sure if he actually has the aisle seat or not when he flops down in row twenty-three of the fourth plane that he has boarded in the last thirty-six hours.

Harry woke up with a smile on his face.

Louis sighs, unsatisfied, and wipes his sticky hand on a tissue after coming all over his belly.

Male, 30, can travel within the greater Manchester area

Harry knows exactly what having Louis’ attention does to an alpha.

Louis sank his hands into soft brown curls and tugged.

On Louis’ twenty-first birthday, he gets a call from the National Secondary Gender Services.

The first time Louis realised he might actually be in love with Harry Styles, was over a half-burnt piece of toast and an unreasonably charming bedhead.

Louis Tomlinson took a deep breath of the fresh air.

In all honesty, Harry had no idea what he was getting himself into this weekend.

Sweat drips down Harry’s temples as Louis leaps in the air. 

“I really don’t want to go,” Harry complains.

The click of the lighter breaks the silence, followed by a faint hiss, an eager inhale drawing the smoke into waiting lungs, a soft exhale releasing tendrils of gray into the still air.

Harry sits in his bedroom window, binoculars pressed tight to his face as he stares across the street. 

“You know what fuck you Louis, I’ve had it. We're done!”

“We’re sorry, the Demon you’re trying to summon is currently unavailable. Your ritual is important to us. Please hold--”

Harry winds a finger into one of the curls that grazes his shoulder as he stares at the jars of colored ribbons on the table in front of him. 

Liam narrowed his eyes from across the bar table.

Harry Styles sits in a discreet corner of the restaurant in the Sunset Tower Hotel in L.A., which seems a fitting venue to get to know the brightest upcoming star in LaLa land.

All things considered, Harry felt like he sort of had his life figured out. 

Waking up with the sun in his eyes seemed to be a regular occurrence.

There’s no greater love in the world than a soulmate.

“Morning, Louis."

Here's the last line I've written for my 90s Drive-In Diner, Carhop Harry fic:

"They take turns taking sips of the strawberry milkshake while Louis fumbles with the radio dial, eventually stopping on a station that's playing that new Aerosmith song about not wanting to miss a thing, and the air in the car starts to feel like it could light a match, but Louis still shies away every time Harry even gets close to touching him on purpose."

He ended up using grocery bags to carry half the popcorn out to Gareth’s pen. “What the fuck happened to you?” Gareth, who was covered in pink and purple splotches of color, ran over to see what Louis had in his bags, pushing his snout into one until Louis dumped them out onto the ground for him. He seemed to quite enjoy popcorn.  Louis scanned Gareth’s pen and found the gate pushed open. “How did you manage this?” A few hoof tracks showed the direction Gareth had been headed. Louis firmly closed the gate and headed off to see what Gareth had gotten into. Zayn’s half demolished berry bushes gave it away. Zayn was going to be pissed.
