What is Shinbun Shiji?
Shinbun Shiji is a manga-inspired webcomic written and illustrated by @oreozfox . It tells the adventures of a young martial artist named Shiji Tataru who delivers newspapers for a living.
This comic was originally published on a few-pages-per-week schedule, but due to my busy life atm, updates may be irregular and slow, but you'll see plenty of art in the meantime!

The main protagonists are:
Shiji Tataru, the titular character. A fourteen-year-old martial arts student training in the unique style of Shinbun-Ken. Despite his fighting skills, Shiji only likes to fight for sport, and can come off as sort of a pushover most of the time.
Suzuko Ogata, Shiji's best friend and the object of his affections. She is fifteen years old and lives at the same dojo as Shiji. Suzuko is tough and no-nonsense, even on Shiji, but only because she cares.
Yasuo Huang, the oldest student at the Shinbun School. He's sixteen years old and the son of the school's late master. After his father's death, he took on the duty of continuing his training, as well as that of Shiji and Suzuko. He is very serene and calm, and the high school's resident dreamboat.
Gomaru, the editor of the Shinbun School's papers. A 300-year-old nekomata who came from a forest where pet cats go after they die to be reincarnated as nekomata. He can transform into a larger size to fly the students anywhere. A bit of a grump, but a very helpful cat!
