The 'alluka zoldyck' dispute is the one time I can agree with the zoldyck family. That thing was asking for nails, backbones, organs and killing people when they couldn't give her that with such an emotionless dokey dokey face, as it whatever is happening is a fairytale, how is it okay to let that thing roam free? The bare minimum is to lock her up! Killua asking for her freedom is selfish!
The zoldyck family is an assassin family, alright, but they don't just randomly shoot people down like 'nanika' zoldyck. Killua is being a selfish brat. The brat actually sold off his older brother and thought about killing him using 'nanika' when Illumi was going on that rampage because he thought killua and all his family is going to die. I absolutely cannot blame Illumi here. And yet. And yet Illumi chose to forfeit his life to save a family that won't ever give his life for Illumi. That's so honourable. And Killua was actually disappointed! That his resolve to kill his OWN OLDER BROTHER was hampered!!!! The brat was ordering the death of his MOTHER so he can continue dilly dallying with Gon.
They made him a murderer but who do you think gave him the poison and electricity resistance he brags about every chance he gets? Fuck his 100k favourites on mal, I'm not jumping on the bandwagon.
Genuinely I think that from Illumi’s perspective the entire election arc was the equivalent of a suburban white family horror movie in which he is the only sensible main character. Because what do you mean one of our siblings is possessed by an eldritch demonic being that could potentially wipe out our entire bloodline and not only are we not killing her, we’re just letting Killua run around and try to use it to save his recklessly suicidal bestfriend from a near-death he brought upon himself.
Without the knowledge of the plot-hax of “oh Killua is immune to requests” and “no bad consequences will occur if Nanika’s wishes are used to heal”, Killua was just out here doing the stupidest shit of all time coz ts might kill gon too! And it wouldn’t be out of character in Illumi’s mind because the moment he took out Illumi’s needle he almost died, he repeatedly almost died once again, for gon so why wouldn’t he gamble the fate of the family, for gon?
Illumi, in his desperation to save his family literally said, ok gon can live, i’ll die, as long as all of yall are fine. fufhdikwdnnss ohhh my baby :(( (he has done everything wrong he has done nothing wrong/j)
I’m sorry I love Alluka but when I saw Nanika wringing out the bodies of the butlers as though they were rags, I was like “yk illumi’s right that thing has to go”.
