So my Epic: The Musical Brainrot ™️ has fully combined with my ever present Pokémon obsession in a What If: Pokémon Odyssey
Obvious ones first, Athena is Uxie and Poseidon is Kyogre. Pretty self explanatory
Aeolus is Tornadus; first pure Flying type seems fitting for the wind god
Hermes is Mew ; Mischievous "little" guy and also the line "Send a Message" can easily be changed to "Help a Descendent"
Circe is Petcharunt; “magic” in their food and the Moly can be changed to one of Ogerpon's masks Zeus (in Horse and the Infant and God Games) is Arceus; King/"Main" god, the one that makes most of the decisions Zeus (in Thunder Bringer) is Zecrom; Odysseus is forced to chose between two "ideals", his life or his crews
Apollo is Meloetta; going off of Apollo's musical aspect due to his "argument" in God Games Hephaestus is Regigigas; Gigas had literally crafted the other Regis Aphrodite is Mesprit; Emotions in general are just as fickle as Love and would align with the same points that Aphrodite made in God Games Aries is Terrakion; I personally HC the Swords of Justice embodying aspects of combat. Cobalion is the Strategy, Virizion is the Swiftness, and Terrakion is the Ferocity. Hera is Ho-oh; this is the looses connection I have, Hera's domain of childbirth and Ho-oh revived the three Beasts. Hera is also associated with peacocks and feathers. Calypso is Phione; Calypso's name meaning 'to conceal' or 'to hide' and being a sea nymph fits with Phione, who can hide/blend in with water
