i absolutely adore them. i do like dodal but suzy and joohyuk's off cam chemistry and work relationship is just even better. truly something else. their behind the scenes, interviews and online interactions! i hope they stay good friends because they seem really comfortable with each other. I can't help but get annoyed when I read posts / tweets that make it seem like Suzy didn't shine in Start-Up or that someone else "carried the show". I don't want Suzy to think that she didn't shine in Start-Up because SHE ABSOLUTELY DID. She was brilliant in it. She owned every scene and its about time people give her the respect and recognition she deserves because she is a damn good actress.

I'm watching start-up but i'm staying away from all kinds of discourse bcos I just wanna enjoy what's left of what I can actually enjoy..... if that makes sense. Like this drama started out so goooood but all the fighting and kdrama twitter ruined it for me, not to mention how writer PHR really dragged the love triangle and under developed the seo sisters story and everything else. So saaaaad. But i guess, for me, the best thing about the drama is the acting. Props to all the actors. They acted so well to the point that everybody seems to forget that its just a damn show. Anyway, can I just say how extremely proud I am of my girl Suzy for being so flawless in her portrayal of Seo Dalmi.... but I really hope her next drama has a better writing. And no more love triangles. Please.

But like if anyone is wondering, I like Dosan and Dalmi together + I love Samsan Tech with all my heart. ✌🏻

P.S. I wish we had Jipyeong & Injae as a couple instead :(

Haewon: I didn’t read any books for a while. I couldn’t handle the conflicts between me and the people in the stories. My life was hard enough as it was. I didn’t have the energy to care about other people’s problems.

It’s been a while since I have resonated this much with a fictional character. I really, really feel haewon and this is my favorite scene so far in the whole drama. I love so many things about this drama actually. Coffee. Bookstore. Small town. Bookclub. Gentle male lead. Slow burns. (I really love slow burns.) I think this has potential to be one of my all time favorites.
