Like maybe you sit beside each other and chat. Maybe they are looking out the windows or trying to plan the route and anxiously waiting to get off? Maybe you are listening to music and if so what? Are you listening to the same thing? Maybe they are just sitting there and watch as people get on and off?

imagine your f/o going to therapy with you. part of loving you is wanting to support you on your journey and wanting to improve themselves in the process. just as you might need to unlearn some of your insecure tendencies, your f/o is also more than willing to revisit their own behavior and pick up some healthier habits.
the first session together might be awkward or difficult, but your f/o tries to open up for your sake. it feels weird to put your relationship into full view like this, but they trust that it's a process and they'll stick by you through it.
that whine you make when they finally sheathe in fully drives them crazy. makes them feel like they need to come in two seconds flat

they don’t think you’re too much, they don’t find your excitement embarrassing or off putting. they’re grateful for it! all of it!

every selfshipper needs a f/o who doesn't care how she's perceived and has no issue helping you in uncomfortable situations. if you have trouble with self-trust, she will help you see what she does, which is that you are a capable and lovable person, who is doing their best. and if you can't believe it just yet, she will stay by your side regardless, loving you steadily and surely through it all.
your romantic f/o walks in as you are trying to finish some work at home. maybe it's a research paper you have a deadline for, homework or something related to your job. whatever it is, you know that you have to stay up in order to finish it.
f/o asks if you'll go sleep beside them like every other night, and you tell them that as soon as you finish it, you'll go to bed with them. they still think you should go to sleep as early as possible, but they know you want to complete it for tonight.
then, they say something you weren't expecting:
" i'll wait for you. "
a very simple phrase, but meaningful nonetheless. they sat on a sofa, or chair, as they watched you work.
you tell f/o that if they are so sleepy, they can go to bed first, and that you won't take much before joining them. they seem to bite back a confession of how they can't sleep without you near, and just brush it off with an "i don't mind waiting". you let them be, and focus back on your task.
once you finish it, you stretch your arms and back, glad to know that there is no work for tomorrow. when you look over to f/o, they are peacefully sleeping on their seat. were they so exhausted they couldn't walk to your bedroom? or did they just not want to leave? you gently shake them, telling them that it's you so they don't wake up frightened. their expression still looks sleepy, but they stand up and place an arm over your shoulder as you guide both of you to your bed.
now, you and f/o can rest well without any worries for tomorrow ♡
